bought a packet to use in some rat traps and around the loft.. seems ok, but nothing eating them yet.. other people say it is a waste of money since they are not strong enough. so will see.
Living near to a farm, rodents are occasional pests. I have always found this product effective in eliminating pests (but ensure you follow the instructions carefully). Order delivered next day.
Used a few times now rats are gone well worth the money
Rats never leave a pouch and 2 days later bye bye rats
These sachets are excellent value and work a treat. Cleared my shed and garage of mice overnight. Will keep both areas baited
Easy to use, works very well. I have purchased this product many times. Highly recommend this product.
I use in a bait safety box.
Literally had hundreds of rats now have none after using these. Sorry rats.
I’ve used this product before and had good results, I recommend this produc
Literally just put this stuff out near where I thought they were coming from (the basement) the stuff was gone in the morning, repeated and no more was taken by day 3. Did exactly what it’s meant to. If you plan to use in an area outside, accessable to people or animals, you legally must use a bait box, don’t forget that. It’s perfect.
Product seems well made with everything you need for killing rodents and considerably cheaper than calling pest control. I cannot comment on how effective it is as I am to soft to to put it out and end the life of ratty.
Working from home I was aware we had some unwelcome visitors to the garden.
They seem to have gone now. I am still putting out the trap with the poison for another week or so to make sure. I removed all the birdbood apart from the feeders with the large trays attached to catch the mess and I pigeon proofed those. Less/no mess from those. I am still able to feed the birds.
My cats, prodigous hunters both and they did their best, but this second invasion were cleverer than the first. If the birds were not feeding they stayed under cover. As soon as the cats appeared the birds exited so did the new rats.
I don’t like killing things but I could see we would have a serious problem if I didn’t do something. There are chickens a couple of doors up the street. We are going to try other deterents to keep them from nesting in the garden.
The box was easy to use and fastened securely. You can string the bait on a rod or put in in loose. The bins for the bait are well away from the entrance so pets can’t get to it.
Absolutely brilliant stuff, I have only ever bought this and it’s brill, it does the job, you have to be patient, place the bait and leave, keep checking on the bait and keep replacing, my garden was infested due to our previous lockdown, I put it down all the holes they have dug and then block it up, I buy alot of it tbh to make sure, I can’t recommend this product enough, I don’t use a bait box either, the results are fantastic, the one I found dead this morning and yesterday were covered it ticks, omg they were jumping like mad, so the ticks come off them onto my grass and then onto my dog, I highly recommend the product and this company who sells them, the delivery was speedy aswell, its better to buy quite a few packs to make sure, its no good buying one back if I’m hones
I bought this having seen a rat merrily running across my lawn with a chunk of bread intended for the birds. It was easy to set up. I put rubber gloves on before handling anything. I put half the bait in, so I had spare in case I needed to go round again. I put it out near where I had seen the rat go and Id heard it (under the shed). I put a brick on it as advised to keep it steady. I also put a bit of the same bread near the entrance to entice it in. I didnt go near it then for about 8 days. When I checked the box all the bait had gone and there was no noise from under the shed. I havent seen any evidence Mr Rat is still in residence so Im assuming he is no more and the bait box did its job. I’ve stored all the kit locked up.
I have to add Im not in the habit of killing rats and Im sad to have to do this, the first time in living here for 20 years. It was very near our home and I have children. I hope I dont need to use the box again, but if I do I am confident it will work. It was straightforward and I didnt need to bring a specialist in.
I was starting to despair thinking this wasn’t working as I continued to see rats on the patio daily. The helpful leaflet stated that if the bait is constantly disappearing but you are continuing to see rats it could well be a larger infestation than you thought. They haven’t emptied it for the first time in well over a week. I was having to fill daily. No dead bodies and no odour. Easy to refill. I smeared some peanut butter on the sachets to entice them to enter. Some people have commented on not being able to use the key after the first time. You only need to turn it a tiny bit for the box to open. You’ll get a feel for it after a couple of times. I weighted it down with a plant pot. Another excellent tip I found somewhere was that not only do you need to remove all food sources available to the little blighters (I stopped feeding the birds) but more importantly remove all sources of WATER. Unlike mice, rats cannot do without it. Be prepared to order more pasta bait. I got through several packets before their demise. I really didn’t want to poison them but they refused point blank to go in the humane trap! Mind you, it could have taken some weeks for me to take them away one by one to a new home 3 miles away! All in all I would certainly recommend this product but you may have to be patient.
