It seems to struggle with accuracy within the 1g limit. I put the same item on it multiple times and each time it shows the weight with a slight difference + – 1g. But if you’re not looking for that kind of accuracy, it’s good enough. It’s ok for cooking and recipes since 1g won’t make a difference.

Great scales , slimline and light and easy to use , quite sensitive so use on flat sturdy surface , stainless steel so does mark easy

Easy to set up and use. I would advise is taking the batteries out after use as the slightest touch will switch it on and drain your batteries. I store mine in the box and left batteries in the first time, when I went to use it again a few days later the batteries were dead.

These seem accurate – obviously I don’t have a weights and measures testing lab to verify this sort of thing, but they seem consistent and everything I’ve cooked with them has turned out okay! They respond really quickly to the zero button (my older model – which eventually conked out after many years of service – seemed to take foreveeer to re-zero or do its little self-check when switching on)

Easy to store – lightweight and slimline.

I’m very happy with this set of scales – would very much recommend

I particularly like the illuminated display, much easier to se than the usual lcd and it stays on for a reasonable lenth of time. Only downside is the battery drains when it is not in use, I have taken to removing one AAA if leaving it for more than a day or two.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like it. For this price it does all the basic stuff very well. I turn it on, it weighs stuff, then I can zero it with one press and add another ingredient. When it gets dirty or wet I just wipe it once and it’s clean again. I did not have to change the battery yet, after 3 months.
I’m sure I could have bought something with many more functions for more, but what for, if this fulfils all my needs.

The only quirk is that when I put a plate or a cup on it initially it often goes to “2” grams instead of “0” so I have to re-zero it each time. But that doesn’t really bother me.

A direct replacement to the last model and I must say I like the subtle squared-circle design. The device is a clean and simple scale, just the right size for day-to-day and occasional baking.

same make as my old one , works ok have to reset to zero often. Original batteries supplied only lasted about 2 weeks.

Ok comes with batteries but the screen shows them a tad low but with these things they are often low ish quality or older stock. Just wish I didn’t keep.putting it in cupboard with my finger over the power on button. But hey it does what it should at a reasonable price

It’s slim like my previous Salter scales but it is quite sensitive so I need to be more careful when adding ingredients

Not sure how much I can trust them as a few errors have appeared but all in all seem ok

I really like this food scale, lightweight, very fast to get any little change of weight. I didn’t give it 5 starts because every first time I use the tare it start from 2g and I have to press tare again to make it start from zero

Nothing hard to using these. Weighs accurately (as accurate as the scales are) to single grams or ounces. Easy to read and clean. Thin enough to slide vertically in a drawer. Easy to zero with a bowl on the scale.

I have only had this a while but am very happy with it so far. It is very compact and slides easily into my cupboard. It is also easy to clean with a damp cloth.
One of the best features is that you can use a container – such as a plastic bowl/cup etc – to weigh things in. It is easy to adjust the scale to do this.
A great item which I would recommend.

Wanted something less bulky than my old one and this one is very slim and not too big so handy to store. It’s very easy to use, changing from all measurements. It doesn’t appear to be 100% accurate as it ‘flits’ when using. I’ve tried various items and even measured the same item 3 times with different result but it isn’t very far out so not a big issue for me personally. Price is very reasonable and was delivered as stated. Overall am happy with my new scales.

My initial disappointed by the discovery that there was no way I could weigh my kitchen with these kitchen scales, soon turned to joy as I discovered that they did do an excellent job of weighing things in the kitchen — like ingredients — but also that they worked in other rooms in the house too — pet food portions in the utility room; parcels in the study —I was very happy. The liquid measure seems to work fairly well too, although I am using the measuring jug to transfer the liquid (water) to the bowl I’m using to weigh ingredients — so on an existential level, I’m not sure it’s really saving me anything! The scales are robust and easy to clean. 13/10

Scale is brilliant, works well, easy to operate, light weight, accurate, display easy to see. However. the batteries that came with it ran out in under a week. I’ve put brand new ones in and after three/four days the display is showing low battery again. If these run out quickly, there must be a fault and I will have to return it. Apart from this, I would recommend this product. Knife for scale (no pun intended ) in photo.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent in operation but .....

Not much you can really write about a set of scales…build quality is OK nothing fabulous, led display is nice, bright and clear. Easy to wipe down. Seem to be accurate…I’ve got various sets of calibrated weights and the readings when I put them on the scales was pretty much spot on so they at least fulfil their primary intended purpose.

Only real gripe is the batteries must be really really old, as when they were installed the battery life indicator in the display shows they have roughly 20% life left in them at best!! Hence only 4 stars not 5

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought these for some cake making weekends with my daughters.

Needed something that meant I could get mixtures right and these seemed to fit the bill.

Tested weights against 250g of butter and weighed 254 and 252g for the two packs.

The zeroing works well and could put bowls on and zero to measure flour etc

The only downside was the measure button which when lighted brushed would change the setting to one of the other measures. It could be me, it happened a few times.

They smearing a bit when trying to clean them up but overall I’m happy with them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent set of scales does what we need
