Excellent value for money. Easy to use, durable and look good.
Love this. So easy to switch between weighing solids and liquids.
I had to replace my last Salter scales as they dropped onto the floor. This one is easy to use and looks good. Very happy with my purchase.
Not the best i have ever bought, but do what they need to, good price. They do feel a bit flimsy hence the 4 stars.
I had some these and dropped and broke them. I keep them high up so my fault.
Bought a different set as same brand assumed they would be ok. I hated the new ones so re bought these.
These are a fantastic set of scales. The zero option let’s you use any container with them. There is the option to change the units… includes fluid oz etc. The scales have an auto off function but there is a reasonable length of time before they switch off…some others would turn off too quickly while I was getting more ingredients from the pantry.
The scales themselves are plastic but they feel robust enough and are good quality. I don’t see anything that would suggest that they wouldn’t last for many years. They are also easy to clean.
Bought these Salter scales to replace my old Salter scales which had broken after many years of service. Am really pleased with the look of them, and the features. Really useful to have the fluid ounces button as well as kg/oz. Nice modern look
Bought this as a replacement for a previous one as it was falling apart. Appearance is more sturdier and slightly wider in all dimensions easy to use, also has the fluid ounces measurement which previous one didn’t.
This is small and compact, v easy to use, I like that it’s quick to switch between grams, ounces and fluid ounces. It gets messy when I’m measuring but so easy to clean. Lightweight, takes up hardly any space in cupboard.
Feels very lightweight after previous Salter glass and metal scales (which lasted over 10 years). However, seems to weigh correctly and the quirky “leaf” shape has grown on me since it arrived.
Our old salter scales broke and these were the perfect replacement. Ideal to weigh out your partners food as she’s on a health kick or to weigh out your overweight cat his food! Highly recommended
Bought these kitchen scales for my mum, whose eyesight isn’t what it was and she struggled getting the accuracy right on her old weighing scales. These digital ones are far better for accuracy and the digital display is quite big BUT the only downside is the size of the “g, ml, fl, oz” measurement on the scales is far too small so unless you stick to one type of measurement, it’s not easy to see it to change it. Fortunately, she only uses “grammes” so leaves it on “g”.
I needed a simple scale to use occasionally for measuring dog food and other sundries. As I only use it on occassion, I needed something simple so I didn’t have to hunt down the instructions! This is perfect. Put your container on, hit one button, then fill with what you want to measure. Looks good too. And is light weight and small enough to find a place for it.
I tested this for accuracy as soon as it arrived, by repeatedly weighing the same item on it. It displayed exactly the same weight each time. Great that it’s easy to switch between imperial and metric as I can use it for all recipes with ease. Useful that a press of the right button zeros the display as it saves having to calculate quantities. It’s a pleasing and unusual design, but the plastic seems a bit cheap to me, which is why I haven’t given it the full five stars.
