After transferring over 200GB of large files (mostly between 2.5 – 8GB) this has managed to reach over 200 MB/s write speeds but its very sporadic or stop start.
Checked a lot of usb keys before buying this one, they mostly had promotional material saying 150mb/s transfer speeds but that was only read speed, and write speeds of just 15 – 25 MB/s so this really is one of the better performing ones.
Even with its sporadic write nature it smashes any usb stick i’ve ever owned out the park.
Happy with the product. Just be aware that I am not planning to save important files into the Flash Drive (I am not sure how reliable it is). I got Flash Drive to play music in my car.
Brought to play videos and FLAC on a Joying Head Unit 11.6
Do not format it, pasted everything across from the PC, plugged into the USB cable in the glovebox and bobs your dads brother….. we have video and music on the screen in the car……….
Good speed
Smaller than a small thing. Excellent used as a boot device for OMV or similar when it’s not going to be moved. However, as it is so small you can easily forget it if you use it as a portable device – a loop of bright paracord can be used to attach it to a keyring, doesn’t take up space in your pocket and acts as a reminder.
Wow, as I think back over the past thirty years and the advances in technology I am simply amazed and this little flash drive exemplifies everything about that. Bought to use as “local” storage for “Blink” camera module and it worked from the instant I inserted it. 256gb of storage in such a small drive for 20. Great!!
I use these for OS installs. I’m always installing something, somewhere and never seem to have the right OS on the USB drive. So I’ve bought some of these and just loaded up the OS images and keep them in my gadget bag. I’ve found them pretty nippy both reading and writing. I’m currently using them for Red Hat Linux, Windows 10, Windows 11, ESXi and Proxmox. All install fine from these. I’ve also got a couple with Hirens’ Boot CD installed which is an excellent tool to carry with you when on the road.
Love this usb drive. I keep all my files in it and use it everyday.
It is permanently attacked to my laptop and it doesn’t protrude too much, which is the main reason i got it in the first place.

My major reason for purchasing the item was the physical size of the thumb drive. It’s basically smaller than the first segment of your index finger [about half of it, actually]. This can mean if you are fussy about fitting it into a USB slot [because there is not much to ‘grab’ the drive by, other than the rump at the end that sticks out like a cushion], this is probably not for you. I find it tactile enough that this isn’t a problem, but could end up being a pain in the ~~~ if you were trying to slot this into a USB port somewhere awkward at the back of the computer. I cannot tell you if it has exactly the standard of a 32GB USB drive since I have not tested it’s exact capacity [sorry I’m lazy], but based on what else I’ve got stored there, I see no reason to doubt it. Someone else’s review will hopefully conduct a full memory test. However I can say the transfer speed thus far checks out, at least on USB 3.0 ports. So for me, I wanted a drive I could carry easily and anywhere, didn’t require much memory as it’s mainly for transferring Office/PDF documents, and do so very quickly, very transferably, and with no fuss. If you’re the same, this is the item for you. But I feel it should be 1/2 cheaper. I think it’s too expensive for what it is.
These are TINY! I bought mine on special offer, and they’re a great mix of price and performance. The only thing to be aware of is that if you copy a large bulk of data to or from them they do tend to get a little hot – but still worked flawlessly for me. Delighted with these 😀
I have a proxmox server that I boot from a memory stick and it contains a virtual machine that runs my network along side externally and internally facing caddy proxies.
Writing the image to the stick was incredibly fast, I’d used other sticks in the past and writing had been slow, but this was a different story.
No issues booting from it and everything transferred and booted quick and running as expected.
Decent stick for the price.
It is astonishing that so much data can be accommodated on such a tiny device. It doesn’t heat up, it copies fast (depending on your Bluetooth card’s capability).
People have complained about the device changing everything to “read only” but I have had no such problems but then I didn’t use the encryption software on the device.
For the price and the amount of storage capacity you simply can’t do better. I will order more soon.

Have tried a number of low-profile USB sticks in a 2021 Audi A4, either they didn’t work at all or were unreliable both in the car or plugged into a Windows laptop(Kexin).
This barely sticks out so virtually no chance of breaking it. Works every time I start the car.
Transfer speeds good.
The actual USB socket feels a bit fragile (plastic) and it gets hot when transferring large amounts of data.
When I first plugged in to a Windows laptop, my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse stopped working. I moved the USB stick to the other side of the laptop and the keyboard and mouse sprung back into life
I just needed a low profile thumb drive to put my MP3s on in the car, because where the USB port is meant a normal sized drive stopped the cover on the centre console from closing.
This works a treat.
So, went ahead to amazon to find the tiniest usb to avoid making my pi looking hideous, and got this one.
I would have to say, installation and initial use was alright and as expected. Testing the stick for days and days, to months — 24/7, so far, happy days. Until today
My pi fails to boot and have to stick the usb drive to another computer to see what’s wrong. Lo and behold! ~500 bad sectors!! I am very disheartened and I am here, sat at 2-6am looking for an alternative.
I still want to give credit to this usb drive for its form factor and speed. Unfortunately, not for people who plan to use this for raspberry pi.

I have gripes with the rainforest-river-named company and these products. Like why they list shedloads of 15 “982Gb” drives that are obviously scams. Or why when I type in 1Tb as the guest search term, the only real ones – all 4-5 of them – are on page 6 of the results, and all 100+.
The main gripe is that I am part of the Apple universe, I fought it but it happened and I am grudgingly happy with the results – if a lot poorer. So I use USB-C, the last letter standing for compulsory.
And there are no mini/tiny/hardly sticking out one Lego block’s size USB-C drives. If anything they’re longer and lumpier than the A ones, with A and C ports. Thanks to the last paragraph I don’t need a usb A no more, and prefer a smaller drive so my MacBook doesn’t look like it’s innards are falling out and being glued back on badly.
I’ve read about it’s because the A port is easy to make and the chips small enough to basically fit inside the big ol clumsy interfacey bit. But I don’t care. I’m sure any good engineer could make an even tinier usb c only half-thumbnail drive, if any of the shyster random-letter named scam companies who sell them on here actually employed anyone apart from sweatshop workers and a random name AI company.
But they don’t exist, anywhere, not even for stupid % markups. And us MacBook owners have proven people will spend silly money to companies that make things nice looking and smaller yet functional. Hell, the function can be compromised almost comedically, as Apple’s janky useless broken keyboards proved, and iPhones that bent if you tried to tie your shoelace proved.
So this USB A drive, old and the wrong colour, in a 4 USB A-C converter, is smaller than anything else. That proves how capitalism is a broken system.
But until then Sandisk make thaw reliable (ish), stylish (as good as it can be anyway) and not-eye-gougingly expensive v small drive. I’d love it in a 1Tb flavour. And as usb-c only variety. And would ask all the JYHBDHGGGL-type companies in whatever sweatshop-city they’re in, go on I’ll pay 10 more than a normal one of these if smaller and usb-C only, promise.
Until then, c’mon Sandisk, make a small C-only thumbnail drive please and thank you? 1Tb. Then I can get all my er, historical movie library on one of these and make my MacBook look 10% less Back to the Futurey.
