Passed the Steam Deck verification and I’m using it with no trouble at all. I’m not sure on the life span for these, but I guess time will tell. An SD card I was using before, Steam identified it as a fake (it was from eBay).

This is a good SD card, and I’ve used it with my Osmo Action 4 camera. However, I did experience some slight hiccups in a few of my videos. I was consistently recording in 4K at 60fps, and while I don’t think the camera was the issue, my gut tells me the slowdowns and hiccups were likely due to the SD card.

On average, during a 15-minute recording, I’d encounter around 1-2 seconds of slowdowns, so it wasn’t a major issue for me, but it’s something to be aware of.

Seems just as fast as the internal drive for all the games I play.
Not any issues with performance in games like days gone, or other fairly recent titles.

Great amount of storage for the money.

As I said, I bought this for the steam deck and it’s fully compatible with it and phones as well as I tried it in my old Samsung phone first. Fit both obviously.

Bought this in the Prime sale for 50% off which is a bargain. I use it for my drone and it does the job fine, its not quite as fast upload speed as my Extreme Pro which I use in the GoPro but that wasn’t as heavily discounted as this was. Happy with purchase.

Product Review: SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC Card + SD Adapter
The SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC card with SD adapter is a top-tier storage solution designed for those who demand high performance and reliability in their digital devices. Whether you’re a professional photographer, a drone enthusiast, or just someone who needs ample storage for your smartphone or tablet, this microSD card delivers exceptional speed, capacity, and versatility.

    Storage Capacity and Performance
With a massive 512GB capacity, this microSDXC card offers more than enough space to store thousands of high-resolution photos, hours of 4K video, or a vast library of apps and games. The high capacity is particularly useful for users of action cameras, drones, and professional cameras, where large file sizes are the norm.

Performance-wise, the SanDisk Extreme lives up to its name. With read speeds of up to 190MB/s and write speeds of up to 130MB/s, it’s one of the fastest microSD cards available on the market. These speeds are crucial for tasks like 4K UHD video recording, burst mode photography, and transferring large files quickly between devices. The card’s speed class ratings (Class 10, UHS Speed Class 3 (U3), and Video Speed Class 30 (V30)) ensure it can handle intensive workloads without skipping a beat.

    Durability and Reliability
SanDisk is known for producing durable and reliable storage solutions, and this microSDXC card is no exception. It’s built to withstand tough conditions, being water-proof, temperature-proof, shock-proof, and X-ray-proof. This makes it an excellent choice for use in extreme environments, such as action sports or outdoor photography, where your equipment might be exposed to the elements. The card’s durability ensures that your valuable data remains safe, even in challenging situations.

SD Adapter and Versatility (Unfortunately I did not receive this)
The inclusion of an SD adapter adds to the card’s versatility, allowing it to be used with a broader range of devices, including DSLR cameras, laptops, and desktops that have a standard SD card slot. This makes it easy to transfer data between different devices and ensures compatibility with almost any device that uses SD or microSD storage.

    Ease of Use
Using the SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC card is straightforward. Simply insert it into your device, and it’s ready to go. The card is compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, action cameras, drones, and gaming consoles. The high-speed performance is immediately noticeable, particularly when loading apps, recording videos, or transferring large files.

    Value for Money
While the SanDisk Extreme microSDXC card is priced higher than standard microSD cards, the combination of speed, capacity, and durability justifies the investment. For professionals or serious hobbyists who need reliable, high-speed storage, this card offers excellent value for money. The peace of mind that comes with using a trusted brand like SanDisk, known for quality and customer support, further enhances its value proposition.

    Conclusion
The SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC card with SD adapter is an outstanding choice for anyone in need of fast, reliable, and large-capacity storage. Its performance is impressive, making it ideal for 4K video recording, high-resolution photography, and rapid data transfers. The added durability features and the included SD adapter make it a versatile and robust solution for a variety of devices and use cases. Whether you’re a professional or just someone who values high-performance storage, this microSDXC card is a worthy investment.

I would give a Rating of: 4.9/5 But because I did not receive the SD Adapter I will have to give it: 4/5

Really good for the price I got it when it was on offer for my switch and it’s working perfectly, Compatible with so many devices, really fast and durable. Easy to use just slot in and boom!

Bought this for my Nintendo switch as 64gb goes quickly with even a few games. I’ve got about 20 on the memory card now and I still have over 300gb left. I don’t notice any drop in performance either playing games on the card vs the actual memory so it definitely is as fast as they claim.

It’s simple to use as well, just plugs into the port on the back of the switch.

Works on my MacBook as well as my switch so can use it for something else later if I need too.

Was definitely a good purchase and I think it was better paying this price for the 512gb one vs the 1tb version.

I’ve purchased a few of these in the past for GoPros. The one I bought recently was put into a 4K home security camera. The card has always performed well for me.

I recently picked up the SanDisk 64GB microSD card for my CCTV camera, and it’s been absolutely spot on. Fitting it into the camera was a piece of cake — it slotted right in and was instantly recognised by the system. No messing about with formatting or setup, which was a relief.

Performance-wise, this card is awesome. My CCTV records in high-definition, and the footage is always smooth with zero lag or buffering. Transferring files to my computer is a breeze too. With 64GB of storage, there’s loads of room for continuous recording. My camera runs 24/7, and this card can store days of footage before it starts to overwrite older files. No worries about missing any important moments.

This SanDisk card has been super reliable. It works perfectly even in extreme weather, which is great since my camera is outside. I haven’t had any issues with data corruption or errors. SanDisk’s known for durability, and this card lives up to that — it can handle tough conditions, making it perfect for a security setup that’s always on.

For the price, the performance and reliability are brilliant. It’s a cost-effective way to boost your camera’s storage. Overall, I’d highly recommend the SanDisk 64GB microSD card to anyone looking to upgrade their CCTV system. It’s fast, spacious, and reliable — exactly what you need for a security camera.

Suitable for a wide range of devices but I put this in my Fairphone 5 Android phone and formatted it to expand the internal storage, which can be a bit hit and miss with some android devices and memory cards (never got it to work on my old Fairphone 3, but did also work on my Fairphone 2, both with smaller memory cards than this one, neither of those devices would have supported a card this big).

Not all apps are happy to run from it but most of those that support being run from an SD card seem to work well, might have had to remove one or two apps and then reinstall them to persuade them to work like this, other apps can still use the phones genuine internal storage.

The device still feels responsive and now has loads of storage space.

Had it installed now for at least a month or two. Has effectively expanded the internal storage from 256GB to ~1.25TB.

Check your phone specs or the specs of whatever device you are intending to use it with before buying a card this big in case it is not supported.

And bear in mind that some Android devices will only support using the additional space as external storage rather than internal storage even if they have the option to format an SD card either way, but external storage can still be useful for storing music, photos etc. if that is all your device allows you to do.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI put my 256Gb card in my Moto G7 Power mobile phone to increase the available memory from 64Gb to 320Gb. The microSD card is formated as device storage and works very well. I use Amazon Music Unlimited and like to download all the music in my library rather than rely on streaming. This takes up a lot of memory, but for me it’s worth doing to avoid problems in poor reception areas with no WiFi access. I also bought one for my wife as she takes a lot of photos with her phone and needs the additional storage as well. Recommended.

I bought this SD card to use in an Eufy Indoor Security camera. It has resulted in the cameras performance increasing significantly. Stored footage can be accessed faster. Although more expensive than other cards the performance gains are well worth the investment, especially if you depend on your memory card for quick access to data or high-resolution content.

It may come at a slightly higher cost, the enhanced speed and convenience it offers make it an excellent choice for those seeking top-notch microSD card performance.

First of all there is nothing to dislike about the product all my comments are positive I have ordered quite a few SanDisk memory cards over several years of various sizes ranging from 4gb to 512gb I find that they provide much valuable expandable storage in this day when most mobile phones no longer support. I have found that the extreme version that I purchased, allows the uhd videos and photos to be played back without any problems. I did encounter codex problems with a cheaper version. With the SanDisk I can recommend to other interested parties they are produced to a very high standard.

Well packaged, fair price, same day delivery, comes with SD card adapter. Use these for my eufy indoor cams, no quibble from the camera, takes seconds to format for use. I use them for continuous recording which is aproximately 12 days worth of footage, so should last about 16 years before it needs replacing! All in all, a good MicroSD card for a good price.

I bought this micro SD card for my Nextbase dash cam as it needs a fast micro SD for 4k. It is a lot cheaper than Nextbase’s own cards so definitely worth the saving. The card is fast and reliable and I have had no issues with it so far. I would definitely recommend this card to anyone looking for a good quality micro SD card.
