WAIT

Wait until the paint is dry to the touch before removing the tape. Check the paint can for the manufacturer’s dry times.

SCORE

Use a putty knife or razor blade to score along the edge of the tape. This prevents paint from being pulled up with the tape and from cracking along the paint line

TAPE

Taking your time, lift up the painter’s tape and pull it back on itself, removing at a 45 degree angle. If adhesive sticks to the surface, try a 90-degree angle.

DONE!

You’ll get a sharp, clean line and a professional looking paint job!

You get what you pay for with this. Good quality. And works as described. Very durable tape. Easy to remove and apply. Does not damage paint on walls or leave residue of any sort.

Although this is masking tape, it is perfect for using in crafting. It doesn’t rip your paper when taping your dies to the paper when putting them through your machine die cutting machine. You can also stamp on it and use it as a mask when you are stamping. I will definitely buy it again as some of the other tapes. I have used in the past stick to your paper when going through the dichotomy machine and then with your project so I would definitely recommend this one. It comes in different sizes and I have them in a couple of sizes, depending on what I am using them fo

Ok worked for few weeks now need to replace it.
It’s fabric…y not sturdy …but good. Not the best like the other masking plastic tape. The popular in the market. Quality needs to improve

I have used this tape for guitar fret conditioning to ordinary paint jobs around the house … wouldn’t use anything else, mainly because it doesn’t damage existing surfaces when removing .. Great product !

I have tried a few other types of masking tapes to freshen up kitchen cabinets, glass cabinets etc and none of them did a clean job, even the premium products

This tape however is amazing, great adhesive and gives a razor sharp finish, I didn’t even have to clean any of the painted surface up.

More expensive than masking tape but worth every damn penny, gives a very professional finish.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this to use on a 3D printer bed. The printer I have does have a heated bed, but in these times of high energy prices why waste electricity. By using this you can turn of the heated bed totally. Not had any problems of prints lifting or coming loose, and I’ve done a few 3 hour prints.

I love it. It’s not the cheapest masking tape, but the cheap ones are a false economy; they don’t stick as well, more drips and so on. With this tape, you feel confident that 100% of the paint goes where you want, not where you don’t.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis tape has been wonderful for taping sketchbooks and paper and canvas for painting . It has never torn my paper when removing . It is strong so may not work as well on cartridge or low gsm paper . However I highly recommend for artists and have ordered more .

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’m currently decorating my lounge. Ordinarily I would be replacing the carpet on any room I’m decorating but in this case I’m not so I needed a way to protect it when painting my skirting boards. This is a medium tack tape especially for textured surfaces so I was hopeful it would stick to my carpet. It worked perfectly. It was strong enough that I could ease it down between the carpet and skirting board using the decorators blade shown in my photo but you could use a scraper. It tears by hand and is quite malleable and it’s strong too and nice and wide. I’ve since painted my skirting boards and got no paint on the carpet. I see that people had used this on newly painted walls and it pulled off the paint. Personally I won’t be using this in that way . I prefer to use a low tack tape not medium tack but the full info on this product does say to scour the tape before removing it from walls so that might help with this. I cannot confirm if that would be the case as I haven’t used it that way. The tape I’ve got left will be very useful for my art projects. Great for keeping tracing paper in place whilst preparing patterns for pyrographyI have tested this and it’s fab. It peels off the tracing paper without ripping it. So in conclusion this tape was fantastic for my needs and I’d definitely use it again. Good value for money as it goes a long way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs.

    Brilliant stuff!

Like masking tape, only it has a slight lateral stiffness like a tape measure kind of quality, which means you can draw out a length and hold it at both ends and push the straight edge of the tape into corner where carpet meets skirting board, without having to push it in all the way along the length of the tape.

And it does stick to carpet…. it does grab to this to the same degree as it does a painted wall, but when you put it down on the carpet, it stays… it doesn’t let go, and then curl up like normal masking tape. I painted door frames and skirting going from a bath room round into a carpeted bedroom, and it stuck easily to every surface – bath tiles, plaster wall, carpet, and other painted wood. And having painted these, I left it there all night, then just peeled it off easily without removing any of the paint from these.

Great to work with… no flapping hands about to try and free yourself from tangled tape, or trying to unstick it from the roll… sticks when you want it to, let’s go as you would wish it to, and is a very mouldable tape.

Top marks (Arrived quickly through the letterbox too)
