SCRABBLE Mattel Games Scrabble Star Wars Edition Family

This is a really fun spin on the Scrabble formula. There are two modes: normal Scrabble (with a reference sheet of accepted Star Wars words – though there are some omissions, so I think it’s fine to add more), and a more “gamey” mode where you use one of the model ships to move around the twelve spaces around the edge of the board, collecting cards that provide points for completing certain tasks (trickier ones involve using six letter tiles on one turn, or creating three words at once). Your movement distance is determined by how many power cells your played letters cover, and getting a Star Wars word or covering a hyperspace square lets you travel as far as you like. It’s a fun mode, once you wrap your head around it (the instructions could be clearer).
