A good looking watch which keeps excellent time, also the strap is fine for me, I have it on the 4th hole so length ok. A bargain price, looks more expensive!
The model number on the base of the watch remains ‘unrecognized ‘ by Sekonda. They give the impression that this is on ‘old’ model. I am not prepared to pay one of the many ‘find any manual’ sites for something which should have been included with the order or at least be easily available.
The watch itself is fine, no problems whatsoever.
Love the quality strap and the fine stitching detail and particularly taken with the brown face, it is a nice contrast for a change. It sits well on my average wrists and isn’t annoying like some watches. The time is easy to read at speed too.
I’ve owned a few sekonda watches in this style over the decades, I’ve give them a lot of abuse in work, fishing, gardening, kayaking and they were all still working fine bedore I dropped them from a good height or lost in the drink while fishing.
I’m confident being a sekonda this one will stand up to as much living as its predecessors.
If you are bigger than a 14 year old. You might have a problem doing up the strap. Only just had enough strap left to get another hole on the strap, to do it up.
Watch is fine value for money.
Bought this watch for a fantastic price very happy with it nice big face so you can see the watch clearly I use it for everyday use and it worked brilliantly if you are looking for a cheap quality watch I would recommend this one just buy
I work as a sandblaster – and therefore need a cheap watch to tell the time, that I don’t mind getting wet, scratched etc. These watches last very well – although I change the straps now and then. I suspect I mislay them down the back of the chair rather more often than they fail because they are too scratched or stop telling the time… I highly recommend them!
I bought this watch on looks and price and I am not disappointed. It is stylish, looks more expensive and the second hand hits every marker. The strap fits well on the second hole but would not fit a bigger wrist. The black ionised case goes well with the dial and the yellow second hand compliments the black dial perfectly. It might not match a luxury watch but for 22 it’s faultless, I would gladly recommend this watch.
Great looking watch for the price I paid. It is such a shame that Sekonda fit the shortest strap to this watch known to man… don’t even try to fasten the watch… not if you value the blood supply to your hand, that is. Thankfully a few months ago I purchased a pack of silicone watch straps… and I’m pleased to say that in the pack was a medium grey strap that looks perfect on it. Sekonda… STOP being so tight (no pun intended) and fit your watches with LONGER STRAPS! We all don’t have wrists with the girth of a Snickers bar!
If I knew how to, I’d include a picture of this watch, with the rose gold and silver edged metal strap that I obtained from an Amazon trader. The strap draws the eye to the attractive face colour of this watch, which is also enhanced by the oh-so-easy-to-read hands.
The watch is fairly light in weight, but very comfortable on the wrist. The quartz movement means that the watch keeps good time and the battery would last as long as the Amazon description suggests.
I suffer from MS and have made a small collection of similar but varied watches, as I am now virtually housebound. This watch is one of my favourite models because of its attractive appearance and easy to read face. On your wrist it’s appropriate for any occasion!.
I’ve not had a watch for some years now and as I’m in my twilight years I couldn’t really see the need. However, an upcoming little journey involving trains encouraged me to get a timepiece so I wouldn’t miss connections. I did not want to spend a fortune on something I may use infrequently and this item seemed to fit the bill. I was not disappointed. It is comfortable to wear. Big enough to read and easy to adjust. Everything I wanted and only time will tell if I’ve made the right choice. I’m impressed.
The watch itself is lovely – slightly bigger than expected, but I’m sure the measurements are somewhere and I overlooked them. As the item is a gift I cannot comment on much more other than looks.
However, the first watch I received, appeared to be a return. The plastic bag it was in was half out the box and on opening the packaging I saw the time was correct which is quite unusual. This suggested to me that someone had already been using it. Normally there is a plastic tab or something to stop the battery from operating, or if this isn’t possible because of the design, I expected the time not to be correct.
I was unable to ‘communicate’ with Amazon directly and had no choice but to request a replacement. The replacement is the same, except all the plastic bag was contained in the presentation box. So is this another return or are all the watches set to the correct time before sending?
But one thing I cannot say, is how long the battery has been in use, and how much longer it will last for.
Exactly what it says on the tin ,well funky blue box a good quality affordable watch. “Bonus” its not made out of nickel , it does look better in person than in the photo , you can tell its not hugely expensive when you turn it over , but it has a solid weight and feels good on the wrist , the second hand doesn’t even make that irritating loud ticking sound on my nightstand when i’m sleeping.
I bought this after a long period of not wearing watches , I’m allergic to nickel , the cheap metal that almost all metal products are made out of these days , belts , guitar strings ,even euros … cause my hands , wrists and fingers to blister after too long use …(goodbye rock-star career.)
After trying watches with plastic or supposed steel backs , screws or buckles would be a problem after a while … not so with this one all
leather and stainless steel so no pain , my only criticism is that the glow in the dark hands aren’t very bright , you’d almost forget they were there.
4 stars from me would get 5 if the night mode was any good , but for 16 bargain.
