Honestly 100% Recommend. I tried so many drill bits to drill into tiles and every time they cracked or took me ages to get through.
Using these in my angle grinder was so easy and such a nice cut. I would spend more and get these in every size.
The only down side is they don’t last very long as the diamond tops wear (as any would).
Great quality and deserved a review!

This drill can be used dry , however it will operate better if a coolant is used = water , always tilt the bit in on an angle to start .
fitted for use on a M14 angle grinder which is much better than using on some drills = not enough power.

Needed to cut a hole through porcelain floor tile for radiator pipes.

This did the job better than expected.
    Cut through in 10 – 20 seconds.
I directed garden water hose pipe to cutting area which worked well.

Second attempt I angled the bit not horizontally which left it oval shaped but used another tile and got it perfect.
Minimal chips and I’m sure if I took my time or watch a how to video I could have done a better job.
X3 drills and all worked great and no signs of wear/ damage to drill bit.

I used for pipe holes in 10 mm porcelain tiles. Its quite a rough cutter , so go very lightly at an angle 1st. Drilled around 7 holes with this and its still going strong. Not the most expensive hole cutter on the market, but would recommend for the price !

Bought this 20mm drill to cut two holes in an existing 12mm porcelain floor. I went slow and steady and each hole took about 3mins to cut. Lovely clean edge with no damage to the tile surface. Not sure how many cuts you would get but definitely worth it even if it just does a handful of cuts.

I was scepitcal at first as I have used cheap diamond bits without much success. I even tried a branded Makita 10mm bit which barely cut 3 holes in porcelain tiles before completely wearing down and becoming useless.
Thought I would give these a go and after 3 holes, the first bit doesnt look likes its ground down at all… not even opened the second bit yet.
Note there is a M14 shank which fits in a grinder. The speed of the grinder is no problem for the bit and it cuts porcelain within seconds. You still have the skidding problem, I made a V with timber to help hold the bit to get started and no problem.
    Suitably impressed for the money.

This product was just amazing. This was the third drill bit I purchased as the others were rubbish. First one was from Screwfix there own Erbauer brand Diamond Tile Drill bit laster two holes and the other was Armeg both last two holes each.
However this bit cut 28 holes through 20mm porcelain patio tiles no problem. I’ve yet to do the other side but the drill bit doesn’t appear worn.

Would highly recommend these to any one drilling through porcelain. Mines were for installing a glass balustrade. Made my life so much easier.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve used diamond core drills in the past to do 8mm holes using a drill and each hole took ages to drill. Using this bit in an angle grinder was like a hot knife through butter by comparison. I had a large thick porcelain tile I needed to break out (see photos) the advice was rake out grout and then drill holes to make it easier to smash tile.

Only challenge was starting the holes due to the bit tending to run around on the tile. So I used a piece of wood with a V notch taken out to rest the bit in. That did the job! Precision and speed/ I would use one of this bits the next time I need to make holes in a tile and abandon my previous bits.

5.0 out of 5 stars Value AND performance

I didn’t realize this was for an angle grinder when I ordered it. Spent ages try to find an arbor to fit it, looked it up again to see what I purchased to realize it was for an angle grinder. It is pretty fierce, we actually needed it for a composite sink so was a gentle as we could be. Worked with out issue luckily.

Great new addition to the toolkit. Highly recommended. Go through very tough porcelain tiles with ease. As long as you have a steady hand, very precise also considering a flat head with no tip so no predrilling needed or spinning off the marked hole. Used for at least 12 holes through 9mm porcelain tile on the job and hardly any life taken. Should last a long time especially with 2. Thanks guys.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHave used the Rubi make of this product and very happy with it, so bought this knowing it would be a risk as it is half the price – but have to say it’s just as good as the Rubi! Brilliant to get through the hardest of tiles without having to use water to keep it cool, and lasts a good while too.
