Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy husband and I wanted to move our American fridge freezer between rooms due to building work. We’d already moved it before buying the straps and it had taken several hours and a cry for help to a friend. I was sceptical the straps would make that much difference but was willing to try anything. This product is amazing! We couldn’t believe how much easier and effortless is was. Really easy to use and it took us a matter of minutes to move the fridge freezer. Miracle product. We’ve been telling everyone about them!

I did a lot of moving, now I used these the first time and wished I had bought them earlier. They are very great for moving bulky and heavy objects.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUsed this over a weekend for moving out of a 5-bed, 3-storey house with SO MANY antique wardrobes and chests of drawers on the top floors. And an American-style fridge freezer. There is no way we could have cleared the house without this: it saves so much energy and struggling.

On the flat, it’s a doddle to use. Stairs are trickier, but there’s a knack to it that you soon learn. (e.g. the bottom person should shorten their strap almost as short as it will go, and the top person shorten too, but not as much.) The bottom person absolutely does not bear all the weight, despite what one reviewer has said.

If you’re going to be moving heavy furniture, don’t hesitate to get this. Absolutely worth it.

We needed something to help with our house move. There are a lot of products on Amazon but settled on this based on the buckle being metal, and the options with wheels being impractical for stairs. This tool allows you to move with ease! Moving thinks like tumble dryers, washing machines, fridges, glass units and couches are very easy. My partner even helped me up the stairs with a TV bed, and the base was 140kg and we got it up stairs – not saying it was as easy as the other stuff as it was an awkward shape but still, we couldn’t have done it without this as there was nowhere to grip onto. It’s worth paying the extra from the plastic belt ones knowing it’s not going to snap and hurt you/break the item

This shoulder dolly tool worked way better than I expected.
It made it very easy to shift heavy items and saved me a lot of time and effort when moving house.
My washing machine felt light and it was long enough to move my corner couch.
Build quality is great. It’s very heavy duty.
    Honestly can’t recommend it enough.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhen I bought it the wife (5Ft 1in) was sceptical,, there was a face is all that I am saying.. (I’m 6ft)

The old comment – “it’s not heavy just awkward”,, could be applied to a lot of us but in many instances it is applied to moving furniture etc..

Long story short – the wife was genuinely impressed with how easily we could now move some large items / appliances, particullarly considering our height difference..

    We – would recommend!

    Great product /idea!

We used this product to move a range cooker out of the kitchen and into storage. The cooker weighed well over 100kg and was to bulky to move any other way. The straps made this easy to lift and we even went down some stairs. Ideal. Saved us a fortune vs hiring a professional removal outfit. Would recommend for any heavy items including washing machine and fridges.

We had to move a very heavy desk through a narrow doorway – it would have been impossible without this product. Well made, robust and so simple to use. You may not use it every day, but its one of those invaluable tools to have in the house when it comes to decorating. Highly recommended.

An excellent product which saved us time, effort and most importantly, back pain. Had a 2m long 80kg box to lift and shift, and once it was on the strap, the whole process took about 2 minutes. Very easy to use, just make sure to feed the straps the correct way and always hold onto the load for stability.

Wow!!! what a difference this made when we recently moved. Made light work of an American double door fridge/freezer and large 3 seater sofa. use your hands to steady the item and let the shoulders and back take the weight. Wish I had one of these many moves and years ago. Worth every penny.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAt 50 it isn’t cheap, but you only need to not rupture yourself once to pay for it. Well designed, well made, and with it two of you can lift like double or triple what you could with your hands alone, and much more than putting a rope or strap round the object. The harness transfers the load to your core just so well, and much safer too – none of that bending down and forward. Can’t recommend it enough!

It takes a bit of practice getting to adjust it properly for different sized items but it works great. The most difficult part is when transporting items downstairs, if not correctly positioned can hurt your back/neck.

I have moved houses a few times due to career progression. The first time, my hubby and I did it all ourselves – we argued, we broke our backs and I said never again we would do this by ourselves. The next house moves we hired moving companies charging us 1,800 per move. This last move we went to do it ourselves again due to our financial situation, my hubby found this device and it’s the best gadget for lifting furniture in the world!! Very easy to use, sturdy and you can carry incredibly heavy and awkward shape furniture so easily, it feels so light and allows you to have your hands free to open doors, etc. Fully recommend it!!

Golden Review Award: 55 From Our UsersThis is a superb piece of kit if you have heavy awkward loads to move. Saves you’re back, saves losing the skin on your hands, and makes lifting even very heavy load a breeze. We bought American American fridge freezer weighing at 130 kg, which wouldn’t fit through our front door had to be moved into the street, along the Rd. through a neighbours garden across our garden and a into the house, a journey of nearly 100 yards. Okay, it was done in six lift, but as you can see from the video it really takes the strain and keeps your hands-free to balance the load. Previous reviewer said that the buckle wouldn’t hold a load, this will happen if you have it on backwards! Thread the strap through the buckle the right way, pull it down and bring on the load slowly and it lock the strap in the buckle and will then not move or slip. Well made, very sturdy. Just wish it came with a storage bag but hey!

I bought this to move a huge range cooker. I don’t think I would have been able to have moved it without this. Lifting is made easier as it transfer a lot of the weight into your legs. It also allowed me to get it through a doorway I wouldn’t have been to do just by lifting with my arms and hands as I’d have had to grab the sides of the cooker to lift it.
I’ll be using it again whenever I have something very heavy to lift.

It works, the straps are long enough, the only reason a star is removed is when using them on shorter/smaller items the excess strap gets in the way quite a bit. It could do with something to wrap or or hold it against the strap being used

I lift heavy appliances on a daily basis and this is a life saver, makes lifting effortless and I feel no pressure on my back!! Only reason I give it a 4* is because the price is a little expensive in my opinion. Great product overall

Very easy to use and great for lifting large awkward objects.
Moving house we did not have for loading the van at the old house, but had arrived by the time we were unloading at the new one. With the Shoulder Dolly the process was so much easier, the items of furniture that had been hard to hold/carry could now be moved with ease.
Only caution is to make sure the strap is threaded the right way otherwise can slip under load.

This made moving home a breeze. Amongst other things, we were easily able to carry a fridge freezer full of food and drink through the house and straight onto the removals van. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersOverall this was a game changer, but it has some minor issues. With this, I was able to lift a heavy washing machine and relocate in minutes. The straps sometimes release a short amount before fully grabbing which can be a bit nervy, and lifting into vans and up and down stairs is a little sketchy. But, moving house would not have been possible without it. Glad I got this brand rather than some of the cheaper ones as felt reassured that it’d carry the weight of items I was lifting. I even managed to lift fully loaded draws which made things so easy!!

Made lifting and manoeuvring easy. Used on a 240cm sideboard easy. Small steps are easy but big steps are still very difficult. Good Technique is important as you don’t actually carry the weight with your arms it’s simply suspended from your core

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI really can’t recommend this product enough. We had a tall and heavy piece of furniture that we literally just couldn’t even pick up. With the Shoulder Dolly we managed to move it with ease and no issues at all. It’d be helpful if there were some more detailed instructions included (for example making sure that the cross of the strap is in middle of your back, exactly how to thread the lifting strap and what the odd extra straps on the inside of the harness are actually for). Lifting strap is 5″ wide and 12′ long so could manage pretty large furniture, and harness is 3″ wide so quite comfortable once adjusted into correct position. Overall well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought these straps as having our house renovated and have lots of heavy items we needed to move around.
Myself and my husband moved a fridge and a washing machine with these straps. We were able to transfer the washing machine out of the house and round to the garage which I know without these straps I would never have been able to do with him. The only downside is I find them quite uncomfortable on my shoulders compared to my husband (maybe because my shoulders are narrower I don’t know, but saying that I don’t think I am any more uncomfortable than when I try to lug things around by hand!

Would recommend these straps for heavy items.

Bought this for moving some larger bits of furniture in a house move.

The instruction leaflet is quite helpful, with some videos online to watch (which I didn’t as it seemed fairly straightforward).

It does take the strain and difficulty out of moving large items, including up and down stairs. People of different heights can adjust the straps to balance weight better.

Takes a bit of use to figure out how to manoeuvre stairs with the item balanced properly, but it makes a massive difference to backs and arms when you don’t have to hold things.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI had a 5ft fish tank delivered and considered a number of different ways of getting it into the house. Unfortunately having just had renovations done the ground was not suitable for wheeled transport.
The tank itself (just the glass part) weighed 130kg.
Between my brother-in-law and I we lifted this weight between the two of us with these straps and made our way through 2 doorways and up and down a few steps until it could be settled on a set of waiting trolleys on level ground.
Both of us are regular fit blokes, no buldging muscles.
Would I do it again? This weight – not in a rush. We were finished afterwards and the weight bore down on our backs. However, we could never have done the same without this straps.
They are brilliant at what they do, and although the box claims you can carry up to 360kg between two people, I would doubt that claim unless you were trained in lifting massive weights.
I would probably limit the weight to around 100kg max.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersFantastic. Used it to get a 93kg treadmill that we had stupidly taken out of the box upstairs. The treadmill went length ways over the shoulder dolly and I, who have a chronic bad back, and my partner got it up our stairs without any real difficulty when we couldn’t even lift it together clear of the first step without. There are cheaper options but you really don’t want to mess around with shoddy knock-offs and this is the real deal. I was worried that the fact the treadmill was an unevenly weighted object that was barely as wide as the dolly strap with rounded ends and bits poking out would cause problems but once everything was taught there was no slippage. Will definitely come in handy when we move house, something we’ve been dreading until be bought this

This is a great piece of kit! I would not have believed how effective it is in moving heavy stuff. Because it is fitted as a harness both hands are completely free to control and steady the load. I used it for the first time shifting an American Style fridge freezer and it basically made the impossible easy!
Much better than the available forearm strops commonly used by delivery crews. Very easy to adjust to length. Yes, there is only a single strap, but that is all you need.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLet me start by saying that I was a bit sceptical about this product when I looked on YouTube, they always seem to make things look to easy , bit I must say I was very supprized , the Shoulder Dolly worked very well and it was easy to rig up and we (wife & I ) moved or old fish tank and put in the new one quite easily , now these are big tanks 300Lt and very heavy indeed , now picture this my other half is a half she is 5ft 3 in and a Thai lady and very small in stature , and I am 6 ft so I could foresee a few issues … Well we picked up the tanks no propblem at all and no sore backs and best of all no broken fish tanks , great product will recommend to anyone
