Pleased I purchased this as it circulates the heat around room well. And is the right size to fit on the back of stove without hitting the flue. A previous different model had too big blades so check how much space you have before you buy. A must buy if you want to make the most of your heat. Also a ceiling fan, or a normal fan placed at floor height blowing cold air towards the heater helps circulate the cold air up and the hot air down the room in a cycle.
Good value and effective. The fan is well made and is very quiet, beginning to turn once the stove reaches around 100C. I have been pleasantly surprised by how well it “throws out” the heat across the room and consequently means I use less fuel to keep the room cosy in the cold months.
Ive got two fans on top of my multifuel burner so heat dissipates better across tbe room
We’ve had our stove for a few months and it was warm but my friend told me about this fan and thought I’d give it a go wow it circulates the heat around the the room now and use less fuel it’s a win wi
Very pleased, small but efficient fan.
We have certainly noticed it distributing the warm air!
Pushes the warm air into the room, so log burner more efficient.
Small and efficient, this little beauty runs silently and circulates the air from your stove top which would otherwise gather locally. Better than my previous model.
I was a bit unsure about this fan when it came but I was definitely wrong. This really does throw more heat into the room, even for quite a while after the fire is going down the fan is still going. Would recommend.
For those who say they put their hand in front and cannot feel a breeze, that is not the point. The temperature difference in front of the fan versus above it is very obvious, even after a few minutes.
Added bonus : this speeds up indoor clothes drying/airing. While I didn’t feel the air moving, clothes on an airer in front of the stove did, and were moving noticeably on the airer. They dried very quickly, and were much softer and less wrinkled than normal.
Really pleased, and excellent value for money
I’m delighted with this heat fan which does exactly what it’s supposed to do and is silent when running. Heat which I’d normally be loosing through the registration plate from my log burning stove is now being blown out into my sitting room. At a cost of thirty odd pounds this little unit will have paid for itself in no time so I’d recommend one to anybody with a solid fuel stove.
Worked as advertised – starts going within a couple of minutes. Airflow is tangible (candle clearly flickers in front of it) and the room does feel warmer than without it. Gets slightly noisy every now and again, but adjusting where it’s sitting usually stops it.
Quite a small unit , Size not stated on ad . feels like it will not be running in 12 months ,but the price was fai
Wanted to see if made any difference still not sure, but for the price worth a try, this was nice and compact as not much room as you can see by photo
Well worth the small amount of money I paid for the fa
