The kit.
This is a plastic block kit allowing you to build 3 items, train, tractor and motorcycle.
Quality.
It works like Lego and is of good quality. Everything fitted together perfectly. The pieces were well finished. It also comes with full plans to build each vehicle.
Play.
A ten-year-old loved this and has played with it over and over again. We have certainly got value for money out of it.
Overall.
A nice kit with excellent instructions. Lots to do and helps develop a lot of learning skills while having fun.
My husband and sons loved putting this together. The quality and detail are superb. Everything fits together really well and the instructions are really good too. It looks and feels just like Lego but so much cheaper to buy. We love that you can make 3 different models from the set (not all at once). My husband was so impressed he bought another, even bigger, set from the same company.
Set aside about 2 hours to build it, haha! Fantastic little project, really enjoyed putting it together – however it’s a little bit fiddly in places so you need the patience of a saint!
This is a great little construction toy set. My 9 year old daughter really enjoyed building the vehicles and spent a long time concentrating on it which is unusual! The finished train is the most impressive I think. The pieces are good quality and overall I think it is good value.

My nine year old grandson spent an afternoon, with occasional interruptions, putting this together. His assessment when he had finished was four and half stars, had he enjoyed doing it? Yes. Was it difficult? Sometimes. The difficulty really stemmed from the occasionally ambiguous instructions, but he worked through it and was pleased with the result. It certainly kept him engrossed for an afternoon. When his father came to collect him, rather than take it home he asked if he could leave it so that he could build one of the other models next time. I reckon that makes it good value.
This Sillbird STEM Toys Building Set is essentially a similar concept to Lego. Within the set are all the pieces necessary to put together three different industrial type vehicles – a steam train, a motorcycle and a tractor. The kit stipulates that it is suitable for age 6 and above, and I would definitely say that this is correct, and they may need a little guidance as the models are quite complex. Well worth it though as the finished pieces are very realistic looking and quite impressive! Lots of hours of fun, and a reasonable price so would make an excellent gift.
This is perfect for my young kids, its like lego but cheaper!
They love to build all kinds of things so this keeps them occupied for ages!

Omg it’s absolutely useful around my son he was mom can I build that train now and he started it he was enjoying every minute he building this stem he was 9 years old it takes him time but definitely if your son into with building stuff this is a great one
This is great toy for children which reminds me of lego. You can build a variety of vehicles and the train is particularly good. Instructions are included and they are easy to follow. This is STEM toy and it is the second one of this make that I have received and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The only problem was when our little one made the train he wanted to make a tractor but did not want to take the train apart! You can only build one and then have to start again after dismantling what you have first built.

This is a versatile set of blocks that can be built into 3 different creative vehicles. There are instructions for 3 different ideas to help you build. Each of them is built using a different selection of the parts, but only 1 can be built at a time. The parts clip together easily, and the range of models that could be built from them is great too. The parts in the kit are plastic and perfectly usable by children, teenagers or even adults too. They are capable of building complex creations with a little imagination too.
The builds work very well, encouraging physical playtime as well as design, creativity etc, meeting many of the STEM educational needs.

Lots to engage the child – we tried on a 7 year old. He needed some support with building but as little as possible for that sense of achievement. Instructions work well if you pay attention.
Getting three possible models (not at the same time) multiplies the joy factor. Each model is a decent representation with play value. Eventually, we expect some hybridisation from his imagination. The train looks good as a display piece when not being played with and sits proudly on a shelf in his room.
