Brilliant chunky discs. I have ground all the washered roof nails off one side of a large shed roof without any damage to the disc, and with plenty of wear left on it. Excellent value, recommended.
good quality discs from silverline,much better than expected.Thick and durable,managed to get a lot of grinding out of one disc and still going.

More robust than I expected at the price. I had a lot of metal work to do around the estate and these are lasting very well.
No sense in paying for DEWALT etc when these do the same job.
These are thick and take an age to grind through steel but they do last well.
Work well for grinding steel framing and no problem fitting to Mac hand grinder.
Look decent. Only used to sharpen lawnmower blade so I cannot comment on durability yet. But for the quantity and price, it doesn’t look like you can go wrong!
brought these twice now and husband uses them fine with his grinder.
I have not used these discs yet, so given a 4 star rating as they look well made.
Some years ago I did a course at Universal Grinding Wheels in Staffordshire. I think the business has gone now. The guys taking the course told me rather wearily that in reality cheaper discs from the Far East were mostly just as good as the stuff they were making for general use.
And in reality they were right. These are cheap grinding discs made somewhere cheap. They work fine for general grinding duties on mild steel and last well enough. Maybe, just maybe higher end manufacturers will give you better performance and last a little longer but the fact is that the cost will always be a factor. And the fact is that you can do a lot more grinding for your money with something like this.
So, overall I can’t complain. Great value for money and pretty good performance.
fitted well on my bosch 115mm grinder. great for welding clean up. could not be more happy.
i had no safety issues with thes discs what so ever i truely feel confident they are strong and safe discs
obviously i always wear plenty of ppe with grinding tools as these are not toys and can do a lot of damage if not used correctly or safely.
when something is spinning round at such high speed please wear your googles and if using a wire disc on your grinder use a full face mask and long sleeves keeping everyone well back as these wires are so dangerous when they come off a grinder
anyway back to these discs bottom line and fact of the matter is:- they work, they do the job and the price is good
they are worth a try
You get what you pay for, so don’t expect miracles or long lasting discs. Ideal for most applications but not for site work or more demanding work. But for the money, you really can’t go wrong.
i bought this pack of discs for grinding metal and all i can say it thay are fine and as for the price excellent value as most charge at least 1.50 per disc can recomend them
