Decent DIY bench for small jobs wouldn’t risk it if you have to apply body pressure to a object as the board panels are only type of chipboard or MDF so won’t take huge loads of weight it would def not take 100kg more 75kg

Not the sturdiest of work benches, however, for the price, it’s very good. It’ll do most light to medium jobs with ease. I’d recommend this work bench for casual DIY-ers doing odd jobs around the house. If you’re looking for a work bench that would suit trade, I’d say buy a more expensive one that is better suited to heavier work loads.
All said, this particular item is very easy to assemble, good quality and very much value for money. Recommended.

Ok so its not what I expected but it was good value and is usefull for small light jobs. Easy to assemble not too sure how robust it will be but time will tell.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to assemble and easy to open and close. It feels strong enough to put weight on when sawing, drilling etc but I would not sit or stand on it. I replaced the standard nuts with nylon insert lock nuts I had lying around to stop them coming loose.
I’ve had a few basic workbenches over the years and they have all been quite similar. Try to store them in a dry place to avoid excessive rust. This was bought at a very good price. If I was using it professionally I would look for something stronger, preferably alloy. Not much else to say, you get what you pay for.

This workbench was required for a project and worked well. easy to use, folds away when not in use and doesnt take up too much room. Check the instrictions thourougly throughout assemble and you should have no problems either. FGreat value for money and looks like it will last a long time if maintained and looked after.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI don’t normally write reviews and I didn’t even read the reviews for this until after I purchased it and I’m glad I didn’t beforehand due to the negative ones. The first time using this I cut a 3000mm worktop, being as heavy as it was and doing it all by myself as a women, the work bench with stood the weight really well I was surprised. Expecting it to break any time as well as my own back lol but So far so good. It was a bit fiddly to assemble and whatever instructions I got wasn’t very clear but probably the only negative thing I have to say about it. It’s very light too and opens up to a nice workable width etc. Excited to continue to use it for further projects in my new home. Although during the work I was doing I kept dreading the inevitable however It has lasted longer than 20 mins despite most of the reviews 🙂

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for diy jobs

…though I find it a bit wobbly, not quite as sturdy I thought it would be. Plastic knobs are OK, but I found that for a couple of items I wanted to paint, the width was not enough and the plastic knobs were a bit… unnecessary. Luckily they can be unplugged.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a superb buy at the price (12.99), and I can’t fault it for value for money. I wanted another workbench for my garage so that I didn’t have to keep going out into the shed for my much sturdier premium brand workbench. I’m delighted with the Silverline bench – it does what it needs to do. It’s lightweight, feels a little flimsy compared to other benches, and you have to build it yourself using an exploded view of the product. But – hey – it cost less than 13 and for that value is hard to beat. Certainly on a par with a Screwfix bench at RRP 19.99. This bench is perfect for occasional use but don’t expect to build a house or even a kitchen using it – absolutely fine for clamping/chopping/screwing etc. Five stars for value; three stars for quality; four stars overall. You can’t buy any more for any less.

Almost gave 5 stars, but this is not a robust item
    ok for odd jobs etc,
    Flaws –
    Somewhat flimsy,
Doesn’t fold flat (6 inches wide when folded)
Does require assembly, and some of my bolts and screws were poorly made,
and would not work so had to replace a couple eventually with my own
    But for price – unbeatable!!
    for weight – remarkably light!!
for size – neat!! except won’t fold flat
So you pays your money you makes your choice n this is what you get
I’m pleased – just hope it lasts the distance 🙂
