Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI primarily print miniatures and other TTRPG items. I’ve only tried a few resins, but this one has given me the best results. Compared to other resins, the smell isn’t overpowering (personally, I still wear a respirator, but once I have my printer tented and I take my mask off, any residual odor in the air dissipates almost immediately). It’s also low viscosity and cleans up better than every other resin I’ve used. I go through way less IPA with this stuff! I do find the processed prints to feel brittle… even with the proper exposure time and only a minute of UV curing. I might try mixing in some Tenacity as other reviews have recommended.

(Update: About half of all the miniatures that I’ve printed for gaming have broken, despite tinkering with exposure and curing times. I’m definitely going to have to try mixing in tougher resin or switching completely)

My only complaint: The bottle. It leaks constantly from beneath the cap, especially when I’m warming the resin before pouring it in the vat. I wipe out the cap and wipe off the neck of the bottle, but no matter what, there’s always residual resin around the cap. Siraya, please fix your bottle design!

I have tried a few different resins now, but this one (which was the first one I tried) was incredibly easy to print with. Very short exposure time (2.0s on a Saturn 2), and no failures. I did however notice that the smell is pretty strong when compared to Elegoo’s ABS-like. A bit pricier too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great printing white resin. I’ve tried many, this one has given me the least amount of print failures and seems the least error prone than most of the whites I’ve tried. Also low odor compared to others (do not confuse this for “safer” as all resins are not safe and full PPE should be worn and proper ventilation set up).
The only thing I don’t like about this white is that is slightly translucent and it yellows VERY quickly during curing. I’ve had trouble minimizing the yellowing during my cure times and still trying to dial it in. Since things I print are often used in the sun, I’m concerned about the long term ability of the resin to not yellow even further. But overall very happy with this resin as it seems to offer many less headaches than other whites.

After using Anycubic for long time, forced to buy Elegoo due to stock issues. It was a nightmare, prints were failing and resin was very sensitive. Siraya did a good job by providing a reliable resin. This is how it should be. Without spending time on the settings, first print came perfect. 1.8s for layers and 15s for bottom in Saturn 2 8k. After seeing the results, i think, i can come down to 1.5s by layer without any major issues. If you have issues with prints failing or supports not holding proper, this might help.

I’ve purchased this twice now and I am pleased with the product. I mostly print little toys, jewelry, and things for around the house such as a hook to hang a lint roller up with my shirts. The end products are durable and have a decent degree of flexibility. I wish I had a glizzy

    Absolut empfehlenswert!

This stuff prints quite nicely, is decently durable, and is capable of some *very* fine details. That said it separates FAST. By the end of even a 2 or 3 hour print, the vat is just bands of different grays, whites, and almost black colors. sometimes this results in streaks of white in the print. this doesn’t impact print quality, and after a hit with primer its a non-issue visibly — but is something to keep in mind, and I recommend draining your vat back into the bottle and giving it a good shake in between prints to alleviate this for the most part. I will get more of this eventually, but have a few other ABS like resins to try first.

Though I still consider myself a noob when it comes to 3d resin printing, I’ve gone through several different types of resin to find one that is most “set and forget”. Siraya Tech is by far the best resin for the money out there currently. It doesn’t have a very strong smell like others, is more viscous, and has the best success rate when it comes to printing. I highly recommend it!

Better than I expected. Pricey, sure. But you get what you pay for. I was having issues with everything shattering or at least the little bits snapping off until I started adding in a bit of this. At a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio even it still makes a wonderful improvement making otherwise easily broken pieces, far more flexible.

I use this resin on three different printers, two are Elegoo and one is QIDI. Needed a resin that had some flexibility while maintaining it durability as I make functional prototypes with it. I have not been disappointed at all. Actually, I have been nothing short of impressed as I recently prototyped a brake master cylinder reservoir and this resin was one of the few that has held up to DOT 3 brake fluid. I will definitely continue to use this resin and other resin from Siraya Tech.

Is a nice resin to work with, I used it for printing D&D miniatures and although it does have a lot more movement in things like swords it’s still brittle enough that one drop will most likely result in a broken print.

At the price it’s probably more worth mixing this with a cheaper resin but don’t get this thinking your prints will be a lot stronger.

This resing gives great results i have used the gray and switched to navy gray as it shows the hilights and shadows better when selling items. Can not fault this at all. Every time I think I will use a cheaper brand I regret it instantly. Great results on mono x 6k at 2sec per layer. There is a mild smell but it is no where near as bad as the cheaper resins. Its tough once cured and if you printing minis I would recommend getting the tenacious and mixing in 100ml or 10% into the fast to get a bit more elasticity part so if the mini is dropped little parts won’t shatter. The only down side is cant find the 10l bottles in the UK

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing prints

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis resin is absolutely superb.

I undertook a challenging 3D print job that consisted of very large pieces that needed precision to
with interlocking gasket faces to be assembled. I tried several resins, but I was encountering multiple issues that resulted in print failures: separation from supports, drooping and distortion from the build plate, warping and bowing of the sides, and pitting from shrinkage. Basically nothing was turning out properly to my liking, and to get it even close required laying out a dense forest of supports just to get each print to hold on. And the stuff was soft and scratched easily even after curing.

I switched to the Siraya Tech smoky black and the results are like night and day. I’ve had virtually zero warping and distortion, and parts are fitting together with precision that exceeded my wildest expectations. I’ve had zero print failures, and even am using significantly lower density of supports, which both saves on resin, and post print cleanup. In terms of cleanup, the resin sands, files, and polishes nicely, and the translucent color helps a bit with dry fitting prints. I’d recommend wet sanding in order to keep down on dust.

After curing, the resin is sturdy and decently scratch-resistant. It feels something similar to Lego plastic. Surface takes primer and paint well.

Printing on a Saturn 2, exposure calibration was a breeze (2.5 seconds). Additionally with the plug-in air filter, and odor is minimal.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed elegoo resin for a while and didnt think I could do much better.

After dialing the exposure i have been constantly surprised by both their white and Navy Grey. The white can be a little translucent, but it prints fast and sharp. Navy grey is probably the single best resin i have used. Yes the pigment will fall out of suspension, but the resin holds detail, doesn’t warp and sands amazingly well. Just take some time to stir the vat and it will be good to go.

The small extra in cost for this brand is worth every penny.

Siraya Tech sure know how to produce a great resin when it comes to 3d printing, the fast brand is perfect for printing wargaming miniatures, it has a quick curing time and has out standing details on a dialled in 3D printer.
It does how quite a strong odour once opened.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI’m in the middle of an engineering project (basically a custom RC plane), and needed some small, precise parts that still need to take decently significant loads. Of course print quality and resolution is a more a matter of what printer you have, but I can say this stuff printed fantastically on my Photon Mono S with the settings recommended by Siraya Tech (you can find a spreadsheet on their website). The parts that I got are incredibly strong. I know this is an ABS-like filament, but I’ve legitimately gotten better performance out of these than actual ABS from an FDM printer. That is most likely because printing orientation does not matter nearly as much, so the parts turn out mostly isotropic (equal strength in all directions). I’ll describe some of the cases I used this for below.

    MY USE CASES:
One of the parts was a stepper motor gear (28BYJ-48) that needed to deal with up to 0.1N*m of torque. I can tell after a lot of use, the section that meshes with the stepper pin has worn down from perfectly tight, to having maybe 3-5 degrees of slack, but it’s still perfectly usable.

Many of the parts require linkages between them, so I printed 5mm pins. In my case, I had to reduce the size of the pins to about 95% to avoid clearance issues, but once they were in place the pins had very little friction while still providing very tight joints. Additionally, those pins could handle a surprising amount of shear force. I tested with a 5kg weight, so statically that’s about 2.5MPa, but I also drop tested with that rig, so it could have easily reached 25MPa at one point.

    CLEANING:
Specifically regarding this resin, you have to empty and clean your vat within 2 days if you don’t plan on printing again. This stuff will separate into layers in about that time and becomes harder to clean off the vat. Also, water curing has yielded good results for me.

If you’ve never resin printed before this part is for you, otherwise move along:
Cleaning the prints is quite a hassle. They come out coated in liquid uncured resin which is, in the case of this resin, definitely a nasty skin irritant and potentially toxic if ingested (most resins are). You’ll need LOTS of isopropyl or denatured alcohol, at least like 2 or 3 tubs or large tupperware containers, lots of paper towels, definitely more gloves than your printer comes with, and some way to get rid of the fumes. The alcohol is smelly enough, but this resin is definitely nasty stuff to be around. You have to be very careful not to get it on your skin or other surfaces (as it is quite drippy off the printer). With this resin, I got the best results by cleaning with alcohol from a spray bottle, then rinsing in water for 30 seconds, and then submerging in a cleaner tub of water before leaving in the sun (for 45 minutes) or shining with a bright UV light (1 minute or more, flipping the part with tweezers). I tend to keep one tupperware container for the alcohol cleaning process, which is very thick with uncured resin, one container for dirty rinse water, and one for clean water (and a bonus extra container to place all my contaminated tools and paper towels). I can usually run with this setup for several prints without changing out the liquids, which is nice because you CANNOT wash this stuff down the drain (unless you want even more micro-plastics in the ocean), and it absolutely has to be cured before you dispose of it. I typically save my 2-liter bottles and old mouthwash bottles, dump everything into those, and leave them out in the sun for a day before putting in the trash.

    CONCLUSION:
If you can deal with the hassle of cleaning and PROPERLY discarding of the waste, then this resin produces results that you simply cannot get with other printing methods. Sure, FDM printing is less toxic and usually easier to get larger prints with, but the precision and speed of resin printing is unmatched. Usually that comes at the cost of poor physical proteries, but with this resin, you can get really small, precise parts with fantastic physical properties.

Same print settings consistently fail with other resins – and of all the “ABS-like” resins, this is the one that comes closest to filling that promise. It’s far less brittle than just about all its competition. It also cleans very well in IPA. Odour is there – but lower than most of the others.

So – by far the easiest to print with, best quality results on successful prints, low odour, and only costs 30% more than other resins – which makes it definitely better value when you offset that premium against failed prints from other resins.

[EDIT] pigment version makes a really big difference – white is a bit problematic as it suffers a lot of bleed though on the support side – seemingly due to low pigment levels. It’s possible this is be due to pigment settling out, but I always shake the bottle a lot before use, so when using White I end up adding extra pigment

Navy blue on the other hand is very heavily pigmented – and the pigment definitely does settle out, although is easy enough to stir back in. The extra pigment means that all details are beautifully crisp, even on the support side – it also means the cure times need to be at least 50% highe

I have been printing dice masters with this.. Using anycubic and elegoo resin I had nothing but issues with the dice, from elongated dice to twisted ones.. With this I have had perfect results. Yes it is more expensive, but for critical things it is fantastic. Still using anycubic resin for less important stuff but this is awesome.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had no faillures with this resin. It’s quite strong. Quite suitable for casings. And compared to the Elegoo Grey ABS-like resin, it smells a little bit more. Details are also less than with the Elegoo resin, but I expect to solve this in the near future with less exposure time.
