My first hoop, saw it on TikTok and think it’ll help get off the weight I’ve gained because of my antipsychotic medication, I’m struggling to keep it spinning but that’s most likely because of me being a beginner.

This hoop is great fun.It does take patience to learn how to get it to move, not everyone does its the same.
The only problem I have is that the release buttons are quite hard to push down.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI buy a lot from Amazon but very rarely leave a review. Clearly I need to voice my concerns.the packaging was great, the product seems to be very well built, I’ve not had any issues using the item and in fact have rather enjoyed it.however the instructions make it very clear you shouldn’t use it whilst pregnant or menstruating!! Pregnant I can understandmenstruating not so much. It’s the 21st century. Please either update the instructions with some factual rationale or remove the comment. It’s made me take the product less seriously!

This is a good quality hoop which is very easy to set up and use. I just need someone to make me use it more now as it does work!!

I have only been using this for a few days but I am really happy with it. Well made and really easy to adjust. There are cheaper options available but this is much sturdier and moves more fluently. Fun keep fit at home.

This updated k mart hoop is outstanding! It’s so quiet, so sleek and brilliantly smooth! The fact it has a timer on it makes it so much easier when exercising and has a counter on it to show how many spins you’ve done! I’ve used this for a week now and it’s been brilliant. Highly recommend for the ladies who want to exercise at home

I like the quality and comfort of the smart weighted hula hoop, it is quite quiet when using it. I purchased this item to help me become more active. I found it strange at first when using it as there were no instructions how to use it, after looking online I saw a video and things were explained. I have only used it twice and I like using it for exercise. pleased with my purchase.

First time purchasing one of these looking to lose a bit of weight before my annual holiday. Been using for a few days now and so far so good. It took some practice finding a rhythm and I found having the weight closer to my body helped a lot. It came with a free cold towel which is lovely after use and a sweat/workout band, now this I love! It helps aid in perspiration which goes towards shedding that weight. I use this wrapped tight around the midsection during use this also helps keep the hoop horizontal because if it tips the weight struggles to go around smoothly. Plus when that happens it can pinch the skin quite sharply so using the band is like a protective barrier. Have noticed a slight slimming around the waist hopefully if I continue use it will remove a bit of belly fat which as we all know can be pretty aggravating and stubborn to shed! It’s fun to use too, use it whilst watching your fave programme and the time flies by!

Great piece of equipment…especially if your quite lazy and dont have energy or motivation to exercise.. i put it together straight away and started using it.. after 8 mins i broke out in sweat. Hoping to see a huge difference after 1 month of use. I will use it probably about 30 mins a day but atm im just a begginer so 10 mins with a child running around me was enough..

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI purchased this after it finally came down in price from 50 after having the older model for several months.
This one is much more comfortable, WAY like WAY quieter than it’s noisy cousin and has the handy digital display of workout.
Only disappointment is that the design is much more difficult to put on that the last, I have mine on 11 links which makes it a little bit but annoyingly doesn’t go any smaller- and this is a nightmare to put on as the plastic doesn’t have any flex.
Plus digital display only worked for about 3 sessions then it broke- shame.
Overall, much better than the last however would not have been happy paying 50 for it given the faults.
    8.5/10

I’ve been using this product for a month and have definitely noticed some weight loss and muscle strength. It took some practice but I got the hang of it quite quickly. It’s not as noisy as I was expecting it to be which is a pleasant surprise.
The only reason for the 4 stars is for sizing.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis hoop is good, it’s well built and the sensor does work on the one I received – however it is a lot harder to use than my old hoop (I’ve ended up ordering a cheap hoop the same as my old one to use while I get used to this). I’ve found that since the links on this are longer, they can make the hoop way too big but without that one link it’s too small. It sits well but because of the track being on the outside rather than recessed it keeps pinching my skin and while this could be resolved by wearing a tank top I think it would just catch the tank top instead. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it eventually with this new one, but I can’t sacrifice working out in order to teach myself how to use this one so I’ll just be doing both until I’ve figured it ou

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI brought this and it’s amazing ! But after 2 weeks I can no longer use it as 2 of the wheels have came off , it cost nearly 50 shoukd last longer than two weeks I’m really upset as I could see a difference just after 2 weeks ! Not sure what to do

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe hoop itself is great, takes a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it, its easy.
Only problem is that the counter doesnt work, there’s a pin underneath it which should go brush over a sensor on the hoop to count the amount of times the weight goes past, but on mine the pin is too far up into the counter casing so doesnt touch the sensor at all and doesnt register anything. Other than that the hoop is good but if you want a hoop with a counter that works, id have a look at a different brand.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI had one of the less advanced versions, don’t think it was the same brand, the ones that are just plastic tracks with aluminium wheels that goes inside the hollowed out track. The old one was so noisy and the track wasn’t very smooth, it would come apart spontaneously, and the wheels broke off after a few weeks only.
This one has silicone coated wheels, so not only is it much less noisy, but also makes the rotations so much smoother on the track, and the fastening of the pieces is way more secure. This also cames with a fabric band to protect your top and soft bits from getting pinched in the track spaces, and the fact that this also has a monitor is so convenient because you can actually see how many rotations you’ve done and the time you’ve done them in, thereby allowing you to monitor your progress as well as what that converts to in calories burned.

My ONLY constructive note is that the red track piece does not stay in the front, the belt slightly shimmies in the direction the ball goes due to the force, and since I whine my waist quite fast (current speed: 2801 rotations in 32:02 min(=400 calories)), I have to twist it from my back to the front literally every couple of minutes, meaning I am not actually getting an accurate count on the monitor, and it is already sitting pretty snuggly on my waits with the full 16 pieces, so there isn’t enough room take a piece off to make it sit tighter.
Maybe they could do something where the design allows you can attach the red tracking piece to the fabric band to keep it from moving.
Edit: I did another work-out the same day, this time placing my fingers inbetween myself and the belt to keep the red piece from moving and the stats show that it does make a difference, time 30:31 rotation 2854, cal 407.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersOk I was massively influenced to buy this thanks to TikTok 😉 and I’ve only been using it a week or two so yet to be able to report on any progress workout wise but so far my thoughts are:

    Pros:
    Lightweight
Can remove or add links to adjust size
    Nice colours
    Feels good quality
Handy counter to keep track of time, repetitions etc
    Quieter than previous model

    Cons:
Hard inflexible plastic means it can dig in at times
Takes a fair bit of practice to get the right movement to keep the ball moving, there is A LOT of stop starting at first
The plastic as mentioned is hard and inflexible meaning it’s harder to add and remove the links, it also limits what number you can have as it won’t join into a circle with some removed
It is quieter but don’t be fooled that it means it’s not still noisy, the previous model was just even louder.

Overall once you get the hang of this and have the right clothing on it is super fun and you can really work up a sweat only doing 15mins a day.
