LET’S GET FISHING
The first Guesser deals out a fish to everyone else. Most players will get a red fish (the Red Herrings), but one player will get a blue fish (the True Blue Kipper!)
One real answer only
WEIRD QUESTIONS AND WEIRDER ANSWERS
The Guesser reads out the first question. If you’re a Red Herring, you make up an answer,
but if you’re The True Blue Kipper, you give them the real answer.

The Guesser reels in points by picking out the false answers one by one, while avoiding
choosing the real answer. But fish can score points too by fooling the Guesser, or coming up with convincing fake answers. After a few rounds, the player with the most points wins!

It comes with 9 fish, 80 point tokens, 200 question, a card dispenser, the rules and a potato sticker.
Do I need to be a trivia expert to play this game?
Not at all, this game is all about picking the fake answers and avoiding the real one.
What is the difference in between the red fishes and the blue fish?
All the red fishes must be sneaky enough to try to come with a fake answer that the guesser could think is the real one. Meanwhile, the blue fish is the only one who will tell the real answer.

This game is really fun , hard for people with bad poker faces but a great addition to a game night – I’d definately say it’s more geared to grownups or older kids
Bought as a present for my partner for Christmas as she loves board games. She absolutely loved it. Have played a few times in a big group.
The premise is a little complicated, but really easy to pick up. You hand out a fishes to all other participants. There is 1 blue fish and the rest are red. The player then picks a card with the answer on the back not visible to them and reads out the question. The red fish must make up a separate lie and the blue fish says the correct answer. The player then has to guess who stated the correct answer. With points allocated for guessing correctly or incorrectly. I found it really difficult to come up with different wrong answers that were similar to the correct answer to confuse the guesser. It is a good game for both adults and children, however, children are a little easier to tell when they are lying (normally all the fidgeting).
Total play time was about 1 hour but it can be longer if you have more players. The game seems to be better with more players (5/6 players).
Overall it was a really fun game, another great addition to our collection.
Very entertaining game. Can be played by all the family. There is a slight American slant in questions but that doesn’t inhibit playing the game. Lots if fun and facts to learn along the way.
This is an easy game to play and really fun!
You just have to remember if you have the odd fish that you have to say what’s on the card, we have had a few games where the answer didn’t come out and we all looked at each other wondering which one of us had made the boo boo

Omg love this game , played it with my kids aged 10 and 13 and they loved it. Simple to play but also challenging and great to see kids using their vivid imaginations. Great for all ages especially for kids perhaps age 8 up.
We played this game so much over Christmas. Highly recommend. It’s a great laugh for the whole family from as young as 7 to grandparents. You have to either make up a lie to sound truthful or make your truth. Sound honest which is hard when some of the real answers are actually very silly answers, I just wish you could buy more fish for this product to add more players And maybe cards as we played it so much. We are almost through the cards we have which are quite a lot.
This is so much fun with friends or family – a game where you tell porkies about weird tidbits to try and bamboozle others. The fish, cards, and tokens are great quality.
Me and my family played this for hours on the first day and felt like we would learn the answers with another long play through. I searched for expansion cards but unfortunately these don’t exist. Long term replay-ability is where this loses a star, otherwise a fantastic game.
This game is perfect if playing in a group of people who can come up with some humorous answers on the spot.

This is an easy to play game that went down a treat with my family. The game pieces are high quality and the instructions are easy to understand. The only slight down to this game is that the scoring is quite tricky to remember and the words printed on the cards aren’t super clear for people with not-so-good eyesight, so the older family members struggled to read the cards when at a distance. We passed the card around for each person to read, but this made the game take longer and lose a little of it’s quick pace. Besides that, it was very fun to play!
