Parfait pour filtrer la rsine 3D, seul petit bemole, une fois pos sur la bouteille, le goulot est compltement ferm et la rsine ne coule plus (tanche). J’ai donc conu un cne perc de faon faire appel d’air et le problme est rsolu.
Does the job of a funnel but the filters are a bit naff. The fine one is probably too fine for resin and they don’t really stay in place when using them. I just use this with paper filters and that works fine.
I purchased the Sovol Resin Filter Stainless Steel Funnel and Strainer Kit for my Elegoo Saturn 8K 3D Printer and have found it to be an essential tool for achieving consistent printing results.
The kit comes with a funnel and 2 x strainers that make it easy to filter resin and remove any impurities or debris that could negatively impact the printing process. The stainless steel construction is durable and easy to clean, ensuring that the kit will last for many uses.
Overall, the Sovol Resin Filter Stainless Steel Funnel and Strainer Kit is a must-have for anyone who wants to ensure consistent printing results with their 3D Printer.
Excelente embudo para devolver la resina de impresin a su recipiente original. Pasa muy bien a travs del filtro y se limpia fcilmente.
Recomendado 100%.
No subo foto porque es igual.
Was a little conmWas a little concerned when I first got the funnel as the holes in the filter plates looked a little on the small side to allow thick resin to drain through at a good speed, however it worked just fine and did exactly what I needed it to do. Funnel is a good size, any smaller and it would be a pain to use and any bigger and stability while it’s resting in the top of a resin bottle could be an issue.
Lieferung erfolgte schnell.
When I purchased a Photon 4K I realised that there were going to be times when I would need to pour the resin back in the bottle. Not wanting debris to get into the main bottle having a decent filter seemed like a good idea.
Now, the bad first to get it out of the way. The filters are well made but have a sharp edge. The problem here is that you need to reach over this edge to pinch the two sprung legs together to get them into the nozzle of the funnel. So there is a slight hazard of cutting your finger here. I say slight, because once you realise that it is a sharp edge, extra caution is almost an automatic reaction. But, if you have small fingers, this might be an issue. The small metal rod that protrudes from the top isn’t always easy to grasp to remove the filter for cleaning.
There is a handle on the side of the funnel. This cannot be trusted. The handle on mine came off after three uses. The handle is welded to the funnel by two points on each pad. This should have been a minimum of four points in a diamond shape to make it more secure. All I heard was two fairly quiet “tings” and the handle popped off. Fortunately the funnel was empty and I was removing a filter plate at the time or I might have been a bit more annoyed. Do not trust the handle
Okay, the good.
This is a very nice filter system that works extremely well. For most purposes you can use the single plate filter to strain resin as it will stop all but the smallest particles, and save the mesh filter for cleaning isopropyl where it will stop pretty much everything. The funnel is a good metal that is fairly strong and doesn’t warp or twist when using or cleaning it. It also doesn’t have any particularly sharp edges, nor is it very heavy so you may need to take that into account when using it.
This product works well. Both filters are well made with a good finish and are easy to clean. Aside from the handle the funnel is also well made, clean and easy to maintain. It does precisely what it says on the tin and does it well. It is unfortunate that the poor weld on the handle lost this product a star in my rating as aside from that I’m quite happy with this product. It is still worth the money I paid as I will still get a lot of use out of this product, I see no reason to return it for a handle that is essentially a convenience not a necessity. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase; more for the filter options than anything else and, when I need to, I will be happy to buy another one.
Bought the funnel/strainer for filtering 3d printing resin. The filter is good but a vacuum is created on top of the resin bottle stopping the resin from filtering through unless you create a small gap.
I brought this funnel to use with my 3D printer. My original plan was to use it to filter IPA but I found the very fine sludge clogged the filter. Instead I leave the IPA to stand overnight and decant the next day into another bottle. I still plan to use the filter for resin but so far I have not needed to do it.
When used without filter the generous spout makes it quick and easy to poor IPA into a bottle. The large exit hole means the IPA flows out quickly without overtopping the top of the funnel.
Good quality reusable filter. Easy to clean, stands up on its own in the bottle. The coarse filter is great for reclaiming resin when it all go wrong :-), and the fine filter is good for cleaning your wash liquid out.
I switched to using this to filter resin from my printer tank back to the bottle, and to filter out cured resin from used IPA. For both of these jobs it does a good job.
I switched from using disposable filters because I found it difficult to avoid drips and spills with the filters and they would quickly clog up making them useless. This may not filter as well as a disposable filter but when I set resin to drip through it and know it won’t fall over.
