I’d love to say I love this BUT… I don’t Yes it does the job, yes it’s sharp and pulls the weeds out but the job itself is sooooo time consuming and labour intensive. It’s good if you’ve got the same width joints on all block paving but with mine I haven’t so some I couldn’t even get between the joints to clean out. Could do with a set of 2, one that’s a thinner blade. If you’re planning on doing a thorough job, be prepared for many hours of weeding and cleaning the joints out. Been doing it a few hours each morning and in an evening. Still not finished 10 days later Nearly but not quite.
Brilliant tool. Gets in between the slabs and hooks the weeds out with little effort. I was using a knife, but this is much easier and better for the job. Well worth the money.
Well constructed stainless steel trowel. I’m hoping the plastic handle will provide greater longevity than the wooden handles of the trowels we’ve gone through recently – ok, they might have lasted longer if I had been more diligent in putting them away after the better half had finished with them, rather than leaving them strewn around the garden….
The new version is stronger and has better grip but I’m still weary working around weeds and stones
