The item arrived promptly and in good order.
I believe Amazon could have saved money on packaging as it came in a box approx 4ft 4ins by 2ft 4ins.
This box was large enough to have held both items i ordered on the same order.
Great. Certainly saves my back when weeding. However, what was not so great was the packaging! This is no word of a lie it came in a box that could of been used as a coffin. It was huge! Come on Amazon on such a thin item why?
Really sturdy, long handled weeding fork. I’m rather new to gardening so I’m still working out what works for me. This is a great tool which helps me reach the back of the border to weed without trampling over the soil, plants and newly planted bulbs.
Saves having to bend , so more comfortable to use , light weight , only issue is the handle is a couple of inches too long for me, I’m 5ft 5ins and it catches on top on arm but all told it’s a good tool and I’ll definitely use it, as it saves my back when gardening.
This is a realy useful tool, saves backache and can reach to the back of border with ease. The prongs are pointed enough to bear up the soil nicely. Good purchase!
Exactly what I was looking for. So far so good, does the job it was meant for. This is a weeding foek, not a digging fork. Use it correctly and it’s very useful and sturdy.
I thought I would have to give up gardening when I could no longer kneel, but this long handled fork is helping me to get back to my favourite hobby
This long handled fork is just the thing for weeding between the shrubs. It is lightweight and comfortable to handle. It saves my poor knees and helps me get the job done quickly and easily. Great 10 year warranty on it too but I think it is built to last longer than that.
Typical Spear and Jackson quality. Fantastic build and sturdy. Although this is clear from the description, I find it a bit too short and so I end up having to stoop a little when using it. I’ve bought other products in the range and they’ve all been about 20cm longer. Never noticed the length options before and have just been lucky to get the one I was expecting. I’m 180cm (6ft 2in) tall, so if you’re around that height, get the longer one!
Looks like a quality tool that will last me for years if not a life time, it defiantly helps with weeding so you don’t have to bend. I can’t fought it at all but would love one with some metal prongs sticking out on the sides too so it really grabs the weeds
The Spear & Jackson long handled garden tools did exactly what I required, in that the
bending down part of my gardening etc was reduced to a minimal.
Excellent sturdy tools.
Seems to be a good fork although could do with being just a little longer. But so far so good. Haven’t used it very much yet, but useful for weeding in a wide flowerbed.
Delighted with the hoe and used in sandy soil area. Been great for the numerous spring weeds until yesterday.
The handle snapped a third of the way down.. Looking at the break there appears to be diseased black wood where the break happened but does not carry through to the outside so would not have been spotted when the implement was made.. It has a 10 year guarantee on it . can you replace for me please. yours Mary Burto
he is very pleased and this garden tool is now a big asset to our garden and it’s not to heavy to hold
I have not had the opportunity to use the fork yet, due to the very hot summer however, it looks promising and has a nice long handle which will help with the bending.
This tool arrived ver promptly and I couldn’t try it for a couple of days because of the weather but as soon as I used it I could see the back saving advantages. It is very sturdy & I am sure I shall use it a lot in the better weather & will not hesitate to look on the same site for any other gardening tools I may need
What a great piece of kit, I have got to the age where bending is not an option this reaches across all my borders and beds and is fantastic I don’t need a large digging fork this is just the job along with a litter picker which I then use to collect all the weeds I’ve dug up there is no need to bend at all and I can still do my gardening and don,t feel useless
