This great little tool will sharpen knives, secateurs, loppers and Shears. Very easy to use and good instructions as to which part to use for each implement. A tube of oil is kept in the handle. Reinvigorated my secateurs very quickly.
This little device has sharpened scissors – rusty kept in shed and knives – one in shed completely blunt, both our sets of secateurs are now sharpened and all my kitchen knives a well. I am really delighted with this gadget!
This is a good product. Negative point is the price I paid on Amazon 12.17. After receiving it I checked and found same item is sold by Wickes for 8 pounds. Amazon system indicated that I will be charged 3.99 pounds to return it. Moral of the story is shop around!
This worked brilliantly on two pairs of early neglected secateurs. Once you work out how to use the sharpening blade it is pretty easy and the little bottle of oil and small cleaner are useful too. But they won’t last too long given their size.
Had some garden shears and grass edgers that had seen better days and was about to buy new ones. Tried this sharpener as a last resort. Brilliant spending 10 saved me a fortune on new ones. Would definitely recommend.
This is absolute brilliant. I have sharpened and cleaned up 3 pairs of old shears, loppers and seceteurs and everything is so sharp, like new and I’m so sorry I didn’t purchase before!
This has proved its worth on so many scissors, sheers, knives, chisels…
It does a better job than I was with a sanding stone and is so quick!
First class.
Brilliant for small garden tools. Have used it a few times on secuteurs and they sharpened really well. Sturdy and the design is ergonomic; I have arthritis in my hands and I found it easy to use.
Used this to bring a pair of very old and rusty secateurs back to life. It worked, to my surprise, and also used it to hone the blade of a small axe. A good buy compared to the cost of replacing dull old tools.
