The Combination is adequate for my DIY needs – however it’s annoying that the same model is 3.00 cheaper ( without carriage ) at a national tool supplier 8mikes away – after Covid-19 I won’t be buying so much on line

I had to spend about an hour making this actually square. Youtube has plenty of guides on how to do this. It wasn’t hard to do and I was able to get it near perfect in about an hour.

Bought this to replace the cheap version I own. By comparison the Stanley version is much sturdier and feels way better in quality. Seems accurate enough for marking up of timber I’ve been cutting for a decking project in the back garden and some other small projects. Very pleased with purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality combination square

Good quality metal square, that allows you to alter the length of the opposite side (depending on orientation of the triangle and position of the angle), thus making measuring more easy.

    Pretty straightforward to use.

First class and well recommended. very good price and well worth buying, Get One, you wont be sorry and you wont find one cheaper anywhere else. Not only the because its bright yellow, it makes it easy to find amongst all your tools.

Nothing short of what’s expected of Stanley tools. Feels solid and precise, no wobbles and shakes when you loosen the knob to adjust it like other squares so gives accurate markings even if you don’t tighten it up enabling fast working when you’re doing lots of different lengths and markings.

As I expected have been buying Stanley tools for years, This square is exacting what I have become used to working with. It is true square when measured against itself which is whats needed, and if I take a little care it will last me many years.

I purchased this for my son for him to use in carpentry course at collage. He uses it on a regular basis and told me it is a good and sturdy

Very clear and easy to read markings.
I bought this for my son who says squares don’t differ much at all but this is the best he’s used in this price range.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGot this after I sent back the rubbish Silverline version that didn’t even have a 90 angle. This is of far higher quality manufacturing. Smooth edges and both metric and inches on both sides means you don’t have to pull out the rule and flip it as often.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Usersgood tool, a bit fiddly if the rule comes out (or if you accidentally pull the rule out) and you have to relocate it.
its got the potential to be a life long trusted square, very happy with this product.
