Retro game which has card figures that have a plastic stand to move around the board. Quick game to play.

Excellent retro game, brings back memories of when I was a kid. Easy to play. Highly recommended for all Star Wars fans.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe wool was good but wrapped in a roll and was very difficult to use. And the crochet hook was very short, could just fit in my hand. Book is great easy to follow.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGovernor Tarkin, played by Peter Cushing, was probably the most celebrated Star Wars character to not get an original 70s figure.

So buying this Retro Collection board game for 15ish meant I got the Moff at last. Plus a board game I’ll never open.

Now interested to find out what six make the Return Of The Jedi Retro Collection. My picks would be the Emperor, Luke in black Jedi gear, Han in carbonite (last 17!), Wicket (got to have a poxy Ewok I guess), plus the two droids. Amazed C3PO and R2D2 missed the cut so far – they’re idiosyncratically Star Wars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo yes, this was a nostalgia purchase, but after wasting a fortune on various ‘hilarious fun’ sounding games over the last few weeks there’s room for a little nostalgia.
And to be honest, this game was even better than I remembered. The rules are easy, gameplay is tactical but simple, and the danger of being close to escape but ‘caught by stormtroopers’ at the last minute adds a certain fun jeopardy.
Obviously the retro packaging is a really nice touch, but it’s more than a rose-tinted throwback. The gameplay, build quality and fun make this a worthwhile addition for family game night!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed to play this back in the day and this is absolutely the same (thanks for the memories!). Great repro of original, even made box look aged too (nice touch). Really enjoyed playing this again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat fun. A simple game from the 1970s, originally by Kenner. Re released. Its a quick, easy to learn game. Mostly based on luck, but there are some basic tactics. A game can be played in about 20 -25 mins. Its more fun with all 4 teams playing. And theres a real sense of urgency to be the first team back to Alderaan, with the Death Star plans.

This was a real blast from the past. Lovingly detailed to replicate the original.

My girlfriend got me this as a gift for Christmas since I had it on my wish list, and honestly I mostly wanted it as a collectors piece. On Boxing Day we started playing it and it’s actually a very fun little game, with a simple setup so anyone can learn and enjoy. Would highly recommend for Star Wars fans of all ages.
