great selection of discs – great adhesion to sander! no issues
great sanding pads, think this is the third lot I have bought.
all have been good quality and long lasting with makes them great value
will defiantly order more when needed
A large selection of sanding disks but some flew off the sander. I’d still buy again though as there’s plenty
I bought these for my son to complete the job of creating various rustic boxes and message boards for daughters upcoming wedding. I’m I’ll so am writing as third party as I can’t use machinery as I’m unwell. But my son (qualified joiner) is impressed with the length of time sanding discs last and finish they produce. He was surprised at amount of discs for price and how qualitative for the large quantitive amount for price. He is so impressed he is going to buy some for work when he is done with these ( which he thinks will be a while). Thanks again for supplying a quality product at competitive price.
Kind Regards,
Greg and Kai.
Purchased to sand back some Oak Kitchen worktops that were gifted to me – moved through 60/120/240/320 grades on about 5-6 meters of worktops, and maybe used about 3 of each discs. Held up well, good mix for the cost, and will certainly use the rest over time.
Seem decent enough discs used them to sand walls in prep for painting
Ordered these as I liked the fact there was plenty of grit variety. Making cabinets and spraying it’s always good to work through the grits but buying the discs separately worked out expensive so this pack was ideal. Can’t comment too much about longevity as I’ve only used a few so far but seem to be on a par with DeWalt. Probably won’t use the low grits that much but always handy to have if the need arises. They stick fairly well to my DeWalt sander which in fairness probably needs a new pad anyway. Would probably buy these again when needed.
Pleased with these however you get a mental assortment of different grades – really what I needed was more of the coarse grades like P80 or p60, so after I have finished my (quite large) project that I bought these for I have nothing but very very fine grade papers left. In general they adhered well to my Makita sander however not all of them Velcro’ed on that well. But for the price I really can’t complain too much.
At less than 20 for over 100 assorted sanding discs, I was expecting to get through quite a few of them in order to remove the old varnish, scratches, dents and blemishes in the furniture I’m restoring, but I reckon they’re actually better than some of the big name brands!
I used an orbital sander with extraction attached, starting with the 60 grit to cut through the varnish, then progressively finer grits to work through the deeper scratches and remove the course grit sanding marks to leave a really good finish. The discs adhered to the sander pad well, didn’t clog up and lasted a surprisingly long time!
I imagine softer coatings might clog up the discs faster, but I’d advise scraping the excess off first before you begin sanding. Also use extraction if at all possible as this benefits the discs and your health. I find if you take your time and let the machine do the work, the weight of your arms to keep the sander under control is all the pressure you need.
Been buying abranet for a while and found although it keeps its grit the velcro on the back let’s it down and it doesn’t stick after a while when reusing discs.
Will see how the velcro on the back holds up to being reused but the grit hasn’t worn away too fast and I’ve been able to put discs away for reusing.
It did get clogged on sanding some wood that had got a bit damp but easily brushed off the disc with a soft wire brush.
These are great value for so many and I love that that go right up to 800 grit. Silky smooth wood with a finish like glass!
