I needed a new keyboard since my last one stopped working .. did a bit of googling and a few reviews later .. the result was this keyboard a top end BUGET Keyboard .. have been using it now for nearly 4 months with no complaints .. would buy again .. and also look at other stuff with there brand name
was a bit worried about the keyboard since it was so cheap. however after owning it for about 2 months now its been probably the best keyboard ive ever had. the keys are super responsive and everything is easily adjustable.
I’ve had several of them, and got sucked in by the snobbish posturing of mechanical keyboard fans. I don’t need n-key rollover or ten billion keypresses, I need a keyboard on which all keys continue to work after six month’s use. This is that keyboard.
Yes, it’s got the mushy membrane keyboard feel, but be honest, it’s the feel you know and love.
It’s not possible to control the keyboard lightshow without installing 120Mb of no-doubt tracking software (Windows-only), so instead I used the key combo to turn down the brightness of the rainbow waves. It’s not too distracting and advertises my solidarity with my furry and rainbow friends.
This keyboard feels great! I got it for my set up after spending most of my budget on the PC, it feels like it’s built so well and the LEDs are so bright on this keyboard! I recommended it to my friend and he also said it was the best keyboard he’s used for the money.
Pros:
Very silent. Perfect for small desks. Does what it should for the money. It has a volume up/down scroll, also you can mute if you press on it, and an additional button to stop/resume media in the background.
Negatives:
1.To keep the desired light programme, you have to use Steelseries app(I personally don’t like it), because it does not have build-in memory like a mouse.
2.Left “shift” key is small, almost as any other letter key. For a gaming keyboard this is a big problem. They could have made caps lock smaller if they didn’t had space…
This is the best dome feel keyboard I have never felt as comfortable gaming & typing as I do with the Apex 3 TLK.
Perfect for both gaming and Productivity with the added scroll wheel for media control acting as a great fidget toy lol.
The price is amazing Razers and corsairs full size keyboards cost almost double and don’t even have as many features.
Putting this up against my Corsair K55 and Razer Ornata V2 this is the undisputed winner base on RGB, Comfort and pure features.
The only personal downside is the lack of a wrist rest but with the price its not a massive problem more of a wish. If you read this Steelseries I would fully pay 20 just for a wrist rest.
(Please see video)
This is me typing the first paragraph of the review, you can tell how quiet this keyboard really is. I am a touchtyper that has been trying to up my skill for the past couple of years, but i found that I was limiting myself with a standard cherry blue keyboard, somehow that made my typing worse. As soon as I got this keyboard from steelseries, I have been able to type withe a whole lot more comfort and speed than i ever have before. I think that this keyboard is the perfect typist keyboard for beginners.
Plus it’s really good for gamers.

My situation is unique as I am a Linux user that wanted to use some of the features that is available for windows users. As we don’t have access to the steelseries software on linux, I was missing out on some of the features such as using the macro keys M1- M6. Which was a bit upsetting as some of the additional buttons would be nice to use. I am still trying to figure out how to map these manually.
Using the brightening buttons works without any software required.
Additionally, if you are on Linux and you want to customise the RGB configuration. I would suggest intstalling the OpenRGB software that lets you customise RGB hardware.
For the price I paid for 34.99 (prime day sale), and have been really happy with it ever since.
Bit on the small side which wasn’t a problem however. It’s super smooth keys gives maximum comfort when gaming. The LED lights are always a welcome touch. Value for your money.

ive gotten through a few keyboards as my w,s,a,d keys sem to rub off.
I brought a steel serier 3 mouse and my logitech one stoped worker and only had it 4/5 months and it was like 70. So went to PC world and they recomended steal seriers. they use them on their comps in store too. 19 why not. fell in love. Saw this steel series keybord and its great, got no complaints, had it a few weeks now and all my latters are still perfec
Good keyboard feels nice when typing and playing, nice value for money slight issue that you have to keep the RGB software open on your pc and you can’t see the caps lock indicators apart from that it is great.
Amazing price for such a lovely short keyboard, I have smaller hands and find this comfortable to use for long periods of time. love that it doesn’t make lots of noise and the keys are always very reactive without needing to bash at them. I downloaded the GG engine so I could change up my LED colours and this is great to play around with.
I was a little nervous buying a keyboard as I have small hands and most keyboard I have brought in the past have been way to big but this is perfect size and it has a scroll wheel on it to make your keys go to loud to quiet it feels very comfortable I recommend if you have small hands like me
Worthy of the title “best budget keyboard”; even though it’s 4 times the price of a regular keyboard, but also that many times cheaper than some other keyboards I’ve owned. Typing feels very good, I like the amount of pressure you need; slightly less than a regular membrane keyboard, but not too light so you’re accidentally pressing keys like I was with my K100.
Spill resistant; there’s no obvious way for liquid to get in, which more expensive keyboards fail on. Keypresses are quiet, but not silent. You pay for the build quality, which feels very premium, and the backlighting, which is average, and there’s no per-key lighting, instead control is limited to 8 rectangular blocks which offer no utility other than strobe lighting across the keyboard. Definitely don’t get this if you want premium RGB, only if you want some colour and the ability to see keys in the dark.
The only thing missing is a wrist-rest, as this is kind of chunky.
