This is very easy to use , I wished I had bought it sooner please do not hesitate to buy one
Having recently got into proper BBQing I decided I needed a more accurate thermometer than the one fitted to the lid of my Weber and this item fitted the bill. The app is easy to set up and Bluetooth pairing went without issue. I can set temp alerts for the grill and different meats I’m cooking. This thermometer has allowed me to do some great low and slow cooks including ribs and pork shoulder. I don’t have to keep checking the BBQ as this tells me if the temp gets to high or low and tells me when the meat is cooked. The only downside is that I can’t use the excuse of having to keep an eye on the BBQ to sit in the garden drinking beer all day.
Purchased this and every joint chicken breast etc cooked to perfection leaving meat cooked but still juicy meats

The alarm feature is good but would be useful if you could mute the actually device and only have the alarm on your phone. Other than that it works well and seems accurate
It’s a great product and I’ve had no issues with connectivity to my phone as yet, having a large joint of beef on the bbq with two probes in and an extra for the ambient temp is a boon.
My one gripe here is the beeping alarm on the unit itself. I’d much prefer an option to turn it off and just use alarms on the app if I feel the need as they can be noisy and annoying when they go off like opening the lid can set off the ambient temp lower limit alarm and you can’t get to it with your hands full – if I could turn the alarm off on the app whilst I’m mucking about it’d be great.
It’s a fantastic little bit of kit though so don’t let that put you off as it’s only a minor gripe. Being able to mostly just sit and relax in the sun while my meat cooks is awesome

It’s a really good product and I am very happy with it. Dose everything it should very well. The only issue is it has a limited range due to Bluetooth. Would be far better if it had Wi-Fi. The range stated must be line of sight. If I move from my kitchen (close to the bbq) to my living room. One extra wall it cuts out. But that’s to be expected with Bluetooth. Don’t think I would buy one like it again if there was a WO-do option. Other than that very happy. Well built and feels like good quality. Easy to work.
Having recently got a weber kettle bbq I’m getting into cooking bbq food low n slow like ribs and pulled pork, it’s essential to know the temperature of the actual food and the temp of the bbq, this thermostat allows me to know both with ease, so simple to use and the phone app is great I can leave my food to smoke and go back in the house and my phone will tell me if the temp goes to high or to low, I really like it and for anybody who loves to bbq then I think this really is essential as the food is cooked on the inside to the perfect temp, get one 5 stars
For the price this is an excellent BBQ set. Decent range and probes seem well made.
Great piece of kit and a great price. Ok it has wires connecting the probe to the display unit, but at 300 less than buying the wireless Meater thermometer with 4 probs, I can put up with a few cables.
You will not be disappointed with this thermometer.
Wish I’d bought this ages ago. Takes all the guesswork out of cooking meat. Works in all types of ovens and barbeques. Indespensible using indirect cooking in a Weber. If you open the lid to check progress while cooking, you lose all the heat. With this, you know exactly when to remove the meat.
This is quite simply one of the best things I’ve ever bought on Amazon. It really takes the guesswork out of all types of cooking, whether you’re smoking or baking – just stick a probe in and wait for the alert on your phone.
I genuinely question why I never bought one sooner as I use it weekly!
Great product: very easy to use with the accompanying app. Clear display of up to four temperatures. I use one probe for the bbq internal temperature and the others for food temperatures. My one observation is that the cooking time estimates are a bit haphazard. Sometimes they appears, sometimes they don’t and sometimes they are way out. The temperatures seem spot on though. Recommended.
At first I thought we had a second hand item & were set to return it, the face of the unit was badly scratched & we couldn’t see a protector in place.
However in proper daylight we could see a protector, it was difficult to get off but revealed a pristine face.
I scanned the QR code on the back of the unit which took me straight to the download for the app which loaded without fault. It connected to my Xiaomi Poco X3 instantly.
Nice clear easy to read display & very easy to set timers, temp & cut of meat.
Yet to put it to the test.
So far highly recommended & good value for the money.
Setup was utterly straightforward. Too seconds. Unwind the probes, plug in (they’re colour-coded) and download the app. I can’t even remember connecting – it was so easy.
It’s really useful being able to measure multiple pieces of meat or, with a chicken, having one in the breast and another in a leg, with a third checking the ambient temperature. I’ve used this on the BBQ and also in the oven. Excellent at both.
The probes react quickly – not instantaneous (like the Thermapen folding probe) but within a second or two. Perfect for a low-and-slow session and also for searing.
For the price it’s excellent.
I have previously bought, used and returned Bluetooth probes (they had a range of 10 feet and couldn’t penetrate foil or the BBQ lid!). This just works. Recommended.
