I bought this for my son and he loves it, easy to assemble, just pay attention to the instructions. Trains need batteries and they move at a decent speed, nothing to fast or slow.
We found this easy to assemble, and my 3 year old son LOVES it (especially removing the track with the crane so Thomas crashes). I can’t speak to durability since we just got it, but I will say that another good aspect is that it has a lot of switches and parts that my son can adjust and try out, which is great.
Bad thing: when the track is placed on the outside loop with the crane it never quite aligns properly, so you have to hold it in place. Annoying in a $50 toy.
One other bad thing: as has been mentioned, the mechanism that sends the train in a loop is LOUD and startled all of us, especially the 3-year-old.
My son really enjoyed his birthday present and loves seeing Thomas get launched. We do have a complaint however. The newer model trains do not fit in the older sets…although the tracks are compatible they have now started making the newer trains taller and can no longer work with older track sets which is disappointing as we like to connect multiple track sets together as pictured and the new trains can only go in the newer track “continous loop”. The trains on the right are compatible with both sets, the Thomas on the left is too tall.
The only thing I caution is that when you pull back the trigger is that if it snaps forward it does snap hard. Otherwise my child loves this Thomas track
We saw this toy at an event before, and later found that the price on amazon was very good, so we bought one for our children when we came back. My son will play every day before and after school. The children who come to the house he will invite them to play together. In shortly, he like it very much
This Thomas the train Launch and Loop provides great entertainment for my grandson who loves all Thomas and friends toys and books. The Thomas engine was defective and was a bit of a hassle with Hasbro to get a replacement. The launcher is quite sturdy and works well as is the track as this little has a tendency to take apart and they go back together easily.
The Thomas that was included did not work because the battery connection was loose.Just had to make it work without the cover or face of Thomas.Overall the set was great.
I reached out to the manufacturer concerning the missing parts. This was Christmas gift for my 4 year old grandson. All he cared about and he can’t use it because there is no hardware or directions to assemble.

Called the manufacturer and they sent the missing hardware so that’s a huge relief. We will have these today.
Gave this to my friends son who is a huge Thomas & Friends fan, he absolutely loves it. He’s had hours and hours of fun playing with this. It’s fairly big so make sure you have the room and it’s quite loud when he plays with it so just be aware of that before you buy. It does get through batteries fairly fast which is a shame, a rechargeable train would have been amazing but for the price it’s still pretty special.

The rrp may seem high but this is standard for any branded products,in this case you get excatly what you pay for.
This set is very well made, child friendly with great bright colours, moving parts, recognisable character, your child will spend hours playing with this.
I know from eperience sets like this are built to last so this is a investment, no sharp parts, quite easy to put together and comes with full, easy to follow instructions. Best to set this up for your child as they will want to get involved and cause a headache as they will be so excited to get involved.

Really good train and track set that works well as a standalone set without being joined to any others. Great for our young Thomas fan. Four stars.
This is a cracking set for Thomas fans (that’s most of us!) of all ages though I suspect 2-5 year olds will get most out of it. It didn’t take us long to get it all together the first time, the different colours help here and it locks in pace quite nicely unlike some of the wooden stuff. It’s great fun once in operation, it only has a single layout but the crane and sidings etc definitely add interest and experimentation for little ones. The loop is the main event though and watching our little blue friend tear around that never gets old, even if your batteries do lol.
Thomas the Tank Engine themed Fisher Price train maintenance yard track set for ages 3+. It’s a 17 piece set which has a motorized Thomas. It’s quite a big set, bigger than expected and can be used in conjunction with other plastic Thomas & Friends sets.
I got this for my 3 year old son who loves playing with trains. He really likes the loop to loop and the motorized Thomas. You’ll need to provide your own AA batteries for this feature which is pretty standard for toys nowadays. We’ve found it goes through batteries quite quickly so it’s best to stock up on a few to ensure you don’t run out!
Overall, it’s a really fun set but a little pricey! The quality is excellent though and it offers hours of fun. Would make a great gift for any Thomas loving fan.

I requested this for my 3 year old nephew who is crazy about Thomas & friends.
The toy arrived well packed and presented. It is bigger than I was expecting.
The tracks/ loops are big and takes up a bit of room. It’s easy to assemble. The tracks are also interchangeable.
It looks well made and quality is also good coming is it from Fisher Price.
Thomas requires 2xAA batteries which are not included in the set so make sure that you have these ready as kids will surely be so excited to open and play with it when they see it.
My 3yr old boys love this Thomas and friends set. I must admit I wasn’t anticipating it to be so large when we set it up in the playroom but have since had to dismantle it as it didn’t leave much room to manoeuvre as it is already quite full lol. My husband intends to build a table to put it on in their bedroom so it can stay up all the time, so maybe just something to bear in mind?
So the actual track is so much more than just a train track as there is obviously the wonderful loop, as well as the interchangeable tracks. My boys find it absolutely hilarious when Thomas whizzes around the loop, they literally scream with glee lol.
Oh, also remember to have 2 x AAA batteries at hand for Thomas. We made that mistake and when the boys were excited to try it out and we had no batteries, there were a few tears. Obviously, the remote control was promptly robbed lol.
My summary of this set is it is fantastic fun for little ones and is definitely something they won’t tire of quickly. There is so much to do with it and it really encourages imaginative play. There is also the option of adding to it, so it will provide even more hours of fun. I can’t recommend this set highly enough…just be mindful of space though as it is a bit of a pain to keep taking it apart if you need it out of the way. I’d say it is worth the price tag and would make a perfect main gift for any Thomas and friends fan. 5/5
This is a cute, old-fashioned train set aimed at younger kids. It’s good quality and I can see me eventually passing this down to younger kids in the family. The set is easy to put together and it looks great (do bear in mind that it takes up quite a bit of space). This train set was a big hit with the kids in the family.
Thomas the Tank Engine has been around for decades, and it feels like the quality toys have been around that long too. I find that if it is an official Thomas product you are almost guaranteed quality. That is certainly the case here with the wonderful ‘Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Launch & Loop Maintenance Yard’. It is a great toy for any fan of the character, or any child at all.
The set comes packed in a box and there are lots of bits. Follow the instructions and you can build it easily with the quality parts fitting into one another nicely. You are going to need to help you child, unless they are a real little engineer. Once built this does not feel just like another train set, it is great. You get a loop, but also a jolly Cranky character that can pick up and move Thomas.
This set is based on the modern cartoon, so is brighter and jollier. The set is expensive, but Fisher Price have done a wonderful job proving the quality. The moulding is great, and you can add other sets to make an even bigger track should your child love it. We find these tracks take up a decent amount of space so once build we leave them up for a few weeks to make the effort worthwhile.
If your child likes Thomas the Tank Engine, they will love this toy set.
It is very fun and the loop adds an excitement to it which my child loves. Moveable train bridge part, which is great and adds more playability to the set as your child alters between the two different tracks for Thomas to pass.
This set is great fun for children as expected from Fisher-Price.
A lot of colourful pieces, which is great for children, as we know plenty of colours help brain development in children.
The quality feels reliable, but care should still be taken if a young child is playing with it so they don’t hurt themselves and this doesn’t break.
This set has 17 pieces, but if you have other sets, they can be joined together to create a bigger and more fun and interactive railway track, as well as adding more characters into the play.
58.01 at the time of review is not cheap, and actually quite expensive, however, this would make a lovely Christmas present for a child that loves Thomas & Friends.
Got for my son’s third birthday, he loves it! It loop-the-loops!, lots of fun even for the older brothers! Safe for baby brother too!
It’s big though, takes up a fairly decent amount of room so make sure you have space to store it as you won’t want to disassemble it once you’ve made it.
This is his favorite toy at the moment.

You have a proper product, always think quality when I see Fisher-Price toys and this doesn’t let you down.
You have a great track which is easy to build, and take a part when not being used, has a loop the loop, which Thomas will zoom over, plus you have a Carly the Crane to add to the track.
Comes with a Thomas train, he’ll require 2 x AAA batteries which are not included, has the normal flip type switch and off he’ll go round the track.
This is a great sized set, doesn’t take up a lot of space, you can add more track if you wished, but for me its a perfect playable size.
A great fun product, which seems great value when you look at the cost of some toys you can buy.
My eight year old put the track together himself and absolutely love it. This is his favorite toy at the moment.

I remember Thomas from the 80s, amazing how this still pleases kids.
This Thomas and friends track set with all sorts of different track features (my boy particularly loves the loop) is great quality and well worth the 58 and 1p (odd price lol at time of review)
My little boy hasn’t really played much with trains and tracks and I really wanted him to enjoy train sets like I used to when I was little. This set perfectly combines trains and tracks similar to what you’d get with hot wheels tracks (which my boy loves to play with) especially all the different elements of play and interaction.
The set needs adult supervision to construct it for younger children but there’s also a fun and engaging element of involving your child in building this improving their finer motor skills and thinking.
The completed track is pretty big and takes up a fair size of the flooring but is relatively easy enough to pack away (apart from the loop which is screwed clipped and screwed together) If you’ve got the space then by all means leave it connected.
What I love about this is you can add more to the set later, so this can be a great gift for kids with the option to give the family ideas for Xmas and birthday presents to add to the fun of the track set.
This is a good starting track set toy in the Thomas and friends range with additional toys to buy later.
It’s colourful with various sections all connecting together and with the battery operated Thomas whizzing round the track this gives lots of fun for children to enjoy for hours.

Much more fun than a basic train set.
My boy loves the interaction element of this with the various levers that can be changed to change track and the large lever to set the loop launcher (which is rather noisy lol)
Then there’s the track changer crane, make sure you set the correct track and bridge track or Thomas will crash!
Thomas is easy to turn on and off with a little lever through his roof that you just push.
Is this worth the money? Ye I think so.
It would be a nice main present for a child’s birthday and like I said there is the option of adding more track and other accessories.
Just make sure you have the floor space lol.

This is a made by the well known toy brand “Fisher price”, when our 3 sons were little I purchased them lots of fisher price branded toys, they are deffinatly built to last and are highly durable, it’s a trustworthy brand.
This is a Thomas the tank train track and loops can be made for Thomas to travel along, Thomas does require batteries tho.
There’s 16 foot of track so you will need quite a big space to build this.
When our 3 grandchildren visited yesterday aged, 9, 5 and 4 I asked the oldest boy to build this for the 2 younger ones….. As it was a nice day he did it outside due to lack of space indoors, he did a good job considering his age, then all 3 had a play with it, they spent hours playing with it until they got bored and the batteries died.
This is exactly as the description describes, it’s working perfectly with no issues.

As soon as it arrived, my kids were ready to get it out of the box and put it together. Took some time to get it set up, just followed the instructions. Was really surprised at how big the tracks were. Takes up more room than I realized. I love that the set encourages hours of imaginative play.
This epic track set features 16+ feet of track for little engineers to recreate the loop de loop featured in the show, Thomas & Friends All Engines Go. Kids can send the motorized Thomas engine through the loop, up two different hills, and then use Carly the Crane to complete the track and help Thomas. There are a few pieces that are track splitters so you can change the direction.
My kids have not stopped playing with it since we got it! They were taking turns making it go through the loop. They would get so excited to use the lever so Thomas could loop around super fast! Just to mention that when the train goes through the loop de loop it is quite noisy.
Overall, the kids love to play with it, a bit pricey. Just stock up on batteries as the train car will eat through them! Can’t wait to find more sets to connect to it.
