Great for kids, yes, easy to use, yes comes with lots extras and great value, yes these cams are great gave to our lil guys for holiday getting babies and toddlers view of the world is brilliant worth every penny
Bought for my 5 years old son and he loves it. Hours of fun taking normal photos and then applying the special effects. The built in games are a bonus on long car journeys too. Very sturdy and well made.
my little girls love snapping away using this camera. its super lightweight and comes with a neck strap to hold around your neck and a hand strap. it also comes with a protective silicone cover in the design of a giraffe which stops it from breaking if/when dropped which is great. my girls take it with them anytime we go out for walks or just when going somewhere on a day trip. the camera is 20mp so not that great quality pictures. it has quite a few features such as videoing, games, zoom, mp3, timer function. it also comes with 32gb storage which is plenty to store quite a lot of videos and photos. the quality of the phots/videos is not that great the description mentions HD but where technology is so advanced now this camera does not have that level of definition in its videos/photos. even still my girls do enjoy playing with it it also lets the add filers/cartoon frames so its great fun for them. this camera comes with a usb charging cable but no adapter, the battery does last a few hours so its great for taking on outings. overall it makes for a great gift, the girls enjoy playing with i
It is a lovely pink camera designed for kids between 3-10 years old. I think it is more for kids under 7, kids after 7 probably know how to use a smart phone to take pictures. The little camera has a 32GB memory card in it and it is 1080p, picture is quite clear given the user learnt how to keep their hand more stable. I think it is a good gift to small kid for hem to start exploring the world using a camera. The outer jacket of the camera is silicone covered therefore I don’t really have to worry about the camera getting bump or dropped accidentally. It is a good idea to gift it to little one as a gift for any occasions. Price is reasonable.
I got this camera as a gift and tested it to see if it works well and a 5 year old can manage it. Turns out kids are really fast learners. I got the yellow giraffe and it looks really good. Picture quality is not great but good enough for a kid.
There are different frames you can add in pictures and some classic retro games like snake. 32GB memory is good enough. Overall the kid was satisfied, they are the one who are going to use it.
If you’ve got a toddler who shows any interest in taking photos but is too young for a smartphone, then this is a good compromise. It comes in two colours (yellow or pink) – the pink which I received is very pink and definitely aimed at the budding Davina Bailey’s out there (rather than the David’s). The silicone moulding around the camera gives it a nice feel. The picture quality isn’t fantastic, but it’s good enough to maintain the interest. At 30 it’s certainly a cheaper option than even the cheapest phone with a camera.
It is a nice digital camera for children, with a 2-inch display and 20-megapixel dual camera, much better than the one my son had.
Also, it has 8x zoom!
The special effects, filters, emojis, and stickers are much appreciated by my children.
The materials look good, it has a silicone shockproof shell which makes it durable and pleasant.
The photos are good, the colors are quite nice and bright.
The memory is expandable via microSD up to a maximum of 32 giga.
The measures are definitely spot on for the little hands of the little ones, even the weight makes it manageable.
The lithium battery which is included, has a good life, but it took about 2 hours to charge.
Overall a good item, it also makes it an alternative gift very appreciated by the children.
The TIATUA Kids Camera for Girls and Boys is a great gift for children ages 3-10. It features 1080P HD video and photo capabilities, with a 32GB SD card included. The camera also has a selfie mode and is easy for kids to use. The pink color and cute design make it a popular choice for children. At a price of 29.99 in the current Amazon market, it is an affordable and fun gift option for young ones.
This is a fun camera that takes decent pictures – our kid loves playing with it.
Unfortunately, the buttons are quite hard to use – they are a bit fiddly and not very obvious, so we find ourselves helping him more than we would like.
If you want to get your kids into photography then I do recommend this incredibly cheap camera, as it has everything you need to get started, and a few things beside. Amazingly, for the price, you get the camera, a strap, a memory card, charging cable (USB) and numerous stickers that children will have fun with. You even get a small memory stick in which to save your photos on. The camera itself is very simple to use and has an 8 x zoom and the ability to make funny pictures on the screen. In short, a great pressie for the 3-6 year old, I would say.
Bray packaging not really impressed with instruction manual as it’s quite big but that’s because there’s so many languages and everything that you need to read quite small so a little disappointed
Really impressed with all the accessories love the silicone case for the camera easy for toddlers to hold can use love the colour and a really impress good how easy it is to use great way to start a photography life yes he card if it’s easily if a little hard for the phones to take out overall quite impressed it’s simplistic for the above 7-year olds nice petite and easy ton use camera
I have tried a few of these kids cameras and until now, have not been impressed… so I was half expecting this one to be just as bad… I was pleasantly surprised – this is by far the best kids camera I have tested so far.
The main things for me I keep in mind with these ‘kids’ cameras is:
1/ are they ‘kid’ friendly – operationally and robustness?
2/ are they fun?
3/ do they actually take a fair picture?
The box it comes in is very nice – simple and fun design – a ‘kid’ would definitely like to see this if they unwrapped it as a present
The physical camera is contained in a protective rubber case (which can be easily removed if wanted)
The rubber case is not just practical and provides a good level of protection, but it’s fun looking – especially for the really young ones
The controls are quite easy to pick up – without using the manual, I found the function of the buttons within a couple of minutes
There is a forward and rear (selfie) camera
Switching between forward facing and rear facing camera is a single button press
The rear monitor display is very good/clear
There is an optical zoom – not great, but something is better than nothing
Some fun in-picture frames
Some cool camera effects – black & white, sepia, inverse
The games are very good – push box is actually quite challenging
Comes with a 32G micro sd card – so ready to start taking pictures straight out the box
Also included is a simple fabric neck strap AND also a soft cloth braided wrist strap
There is also a bonus pack of fun stickers – great for decorating books, cupboards, pencil boxes, etc.
USB-A to Micro USB charging cable is also included
The only thing that was a little disappointing, is the resolution quality – appreciate this is ‘only’ a kids camera, but when the pictures are viewed on a pc/monitor, then the pictures really lack detail. They are ok (ish) if you keep the size of the viewing image small.
Overall, at 29.99 (February 2023), keeping in mind this is designed for kids, and although the picture quality/resolution is not great – I would still say this is good value for money if you’re ok with just having fun images.
Would definitely recommend this as a fun camera, but not if you or your kids want decent pictures to view larger on a monitor/tv or even want to print… if that is a criteria, you will need a camera with better optics.
A solid 4* imho – would have rated 5* if the image quality was better.
Tiatua have made a lovely little kids digital camera which makes for a fantastic creative toy with the potential to evolve to a wonderful hobby.
The design of the camera is a great and truly kid friendly – it’s silicone like outta covering gives it adequate protection from the odd drop hear and there while also allowing it to self balance on any surface.
The photo or video quality won’t blow you away and there is no form of image stabilisation so with little hands a lot of the photos will come out blurry. There also doesn’t seem to be any form of flash, so in little or dim light sources there’s no chance of taking any photo effectively. The lcd screen resolution must be super small and it suffers a bit by not having a touchscreen.
However, it is a kids camera at the end of the day and the kid friendly design and little touches like the KLIK noise upon taking a photo really seems to do a great job at immersing them into taking photos, so overall I do think it’s a great little kids camera.
