Better than expected the game flowed well plenty of weapons to choose from. My only gripe was the game was shorter than expected ,so that’s why it got 4 star’s. Overall worth getting for money.

Hailed by most reviewers as the best FPS single-player campaign of the year, and for many the best of the decade, this game will not disappoint and will be great fun.
The environments you will explore are exciting and full of details.
The most fun to have is when fighting on-foot, but this will entertain throughout with new ideas every chapter.
As a PC player, I found this great fun with the pad as well.

My son had asked for this as a gift he had wanted it for a while so I gave in and got in. Im glad I did he is enjoying playing the game and hasn’t had a bad word to say about it yet. I cant give any information on the actual game and I dont play. But I have a very happy son.

I tend to find that most days, the single player campaign in a First Person Shooter (FPS) seems more of an afterthought compared to that of multiplayer modes. This game really puts a lot into the single player campaign – it has excellent action and a great story. Boss battles are also very good and the campaign overall is a good length.

Multiplayer is also very good on this game. Very fast paced but manouevres are easy to learn and master. Plenty of modes and low wait times too. A very good game!

Great game! I would strongly recommend this to anybody interesting in FPS games with a strong narrative. Also, to anybody that plays Apex Legends wanting to learn about the extended universe.

Bought this copy for a friend to replace the one I’d borrowed off of him a while ago, and he said it arrived in perfect condition.

    Exceptional price too!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely amazing.
I watched an episode of Metal Jesus Rocks on YouTube about his top 100 favourite PS4 games for which he spoke highly of Titanfall 2 so I thought i’d look it up on Amazon to see how much it was going for these days.

I overlooked this on release because it was a sequel of which I hadn’t played the first, don’t let this put you off as the back story is really not needed.

Great graphics, great game play and combat mechanics.
The weapons are all great and really feel powerful through your controller.

And the best thing is.. as this game came out in 2016 I have just paid only 8.47 with next day delivery.

A superb title that is not to be missed even at this stage in its lifespan.

Solid game, missed the first one cos it was launched in that awkward between consoles phase. Fun set of guns, interesting wall running mechanics which are actually used during the campaign, and a set of levels that just come up to the point of being frustrating before they end and you start doing something else entirely.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWorth the money, my friends nagged me to get TitanFall2 it’s 10 after 2 years without and fresh out the case is an amazing price, i got the game yesterday 18gb installiation. While I waited I played the campaign (difficulty hard), it was amazing! Took my 5 hours to complete and I was attached and there were so many things to do, the multiplayer is insane it’s so fast paced and again so much is happening but you know what’s going on, fully recommend it for this price

Whilst Titanfall brought some great innovation to the sci fi first person shooter genre, such as wall running, it’s sequel adds a solid single player campaign, making it a well rounded game.
Just note that you won’t be able to finish the campaign unless you can master advanced wall running and jumping, which can be tricky.

Got it because cheap. Only interested in campaign since I am utterly useless with online shooters. Good fun once I turned difficulty down to noob levels. Plenty frustrating anything higher than that. Nice looking. Very short campaign but it’s good enough to encourage me to want to do it again some time.

Multiplayer could be a bit bigger and characters/dialogue slightly less predictable but the gameplay itself can be so much fun! The campaign comes with some epic environments/settings and awesome moments like taking on a fortress with a whole squad of Titans by your side! Would be eager to see Titanfall 2!

Better than any COD or Battlefield game I’ve played. I’ve had some absolutely thrilling battles on multiplayer. Kills are hard earned and can be achieved in a whole array of creative ways. Multiplayer is the only way to get the most out of this game & can be fast paced but I think this is to its credit. Not in any other game can you move around with such freedom. You can double jump, wall run travelling great distances (while shooting) only to drop behind a bad guy & execute them. There’s enough weapons & tactical abilities to suit everyone from stealth snipers using predator style cloaking, grapple hooks which can be used to execute other players, stim which gives you super speed and afew others allowing you to blitz through other players. The titans don’t take long to master but once you do pilots run for their lives when they see you coming. A must have shooter!

Some games can’t live up to the expectations but this one does.

The multiplayer was already a blast but now is even more fast paced and over the top on every way. Finding the right Titan for you is genuinely enjoyable. One of the best multiplayer experiences out there.

Making up for the fact the first didn’t have a campaign, the sequel has an epic one. The bromance between jack and BT is one of my favourites and the story is exciting and fun all the way through.

Call of duty and battlefield need to seriously watch their backs if a third is made!

Amazing game. Definitely improved from the first game, maps are better, the new weapons are way more fun to play with and the inclusion of a story mode went down really well. Story mode was very engaging made you feel like you have a proper partner ship with your titan. And plus some of the levels were out of this world, some of the best I have ever played in a game before. This is a definite must buy.

In a year that had so many FPS being released in the space of two months it is a shame that so few people recognised this as the best of them all.
I rate a game on how quickly I finish it’s campaign and I managed this in a matter of days due to not being able to put it down.
The multiplayer is one of the most varied, exciting and balanced I’ve played in years and it’s a credit to the developers who keep supporting it for free.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAs someone, like a lot of gamers, who has grown tired by the FPS genre I must say I found this to be a very welcome change of pace. The combat is very fluid and just generally fun. The story is pretty good for an FPS that not only has a good overall general story but the relationship between your character and BT your titan is one that is explored well and to my surprise actually has moments where you can select your dialog with BT and he will react accordingly which is a rather nice touch. This story sees you as a gamer develop a relationship with BT which is one you actually become invested in and you form an emotional attachment to both characters. Whilst I have seen some other reviewers say that the story mode is short I would say it took me around 10 hours give or take to complete which I believe is a pretty reasonable length of time for an FPS story mode however I was playing on the harder difficult but with that being said I do not remember that many occasions where I restarted or simply the restarting process was quick and barely noticeable. One slight thing I noticed within the game is odd difficulty spikes where some earlier fights and boss fights were noticeably a lot tougher than later ones however this could have just been me. Whilst mentioning boss fights I found the idea of these boss fights against a band of mercenaries and their titans to be a bit cheesy, with their introductions and stuff, at first however I grew to enjoy them as the titan on titan combat was challenging and rewarding and allowed for some very intense battles, where upon beating them you would gain different ‘classes’ for your titan with new weapons and abilities. Overall I would have to say it is one of the best FPS games I have played for a very long time with a very entertaining story, which is probably the first FPS game with an interesting story I have experienced since probably Battlefield 3 but its been that long I can’t even remember!

A must have game that was very unfortunate to be released within the same time frame of Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Very Bad Marketing, but Fantastic Game!

Liked the game, fast paced and with lovely controls and effects. If you are into robots, mechs or Sci Fi this is a definite must. Only reason from really 4 stars is that the story mode was quite sort.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOne of the few games I’ve played recently where I couldn’t stop playing the campaign mode. It had major playability, endless hours of fun juting about with the double jump and running along walls and mountain-sides. Guns were surprisingly satisfying to use for alien-type space weapons. Only problem was bad guys were very very easy to kill, and AI quite non-intelligent. Another qeird thing I noticed, when you’d come up against an enemy Titan and you realise you have very little health and there are no “batteries” left nearby, you keep getting killed over and over and respawning to last check point and you think how am I ever gonna beat this guy with so little health (as you respawn with same health and goodies in proximity), on the 11th or so go each time it seems to automatically dumb down the enemy, or make them easier to kill – happens every time – and all of a sudden it goes from a ten minute battle to a 10 second walkover. Very annoying that. But loved the game, so much fun to play, graphics and scenery are gorgeous, I thought campaign was reasonable length too, and I still have multiplayer mode to look forward to! Would probably buy the sequel if they were to make one.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBeen a fan of ‘boots on the ground’ shooters since the birth of Wolfenstein, and through the ages of Medal of Honor, Call of Duty and Battlefield. Having never really got on with the science fiction/future settings versions of these such as Crysis, Advanced warfare, Black Ops 3 I was sceptical that this would be any better but having played the Beta and being quietly impressed. I thought I would give it one final try especially after having read the glowing reviews of original Titanfall and knowing the pedigree of Respawn, the guys who created COD4 and Modern Warfare 2.

So straight to the point, this is fantastic, the movement, the weapons and the general feel of the game as a whole put Call of Duty’s’ attempts at this type of game into the shade. Everything feels polished and natural. The single player provides a good introduction to the pilot and titan dynamics in preparation for the multiplayer experience. All this and with free DLC which includes maps and modes to boot.

All I would say if you love shooters give this one a go, you really won’t regret it.

I’m not usually one for fast paced, small maps FPS’s (Call of Duty being a prime example). I’m more of a Battlefield fan! So, I was massively apprehensive about purchasing Titanfall 2, however this game delivers on a massive scale.

Even though the maps are small and the action fast and intense, the controls feel much more fluid and manageable than CoD. There seems to be almost a more level playing field when battling online.

This game is a must have for any FPS online gamers

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFPS is not my favourite game genre, but I have to say, Titanfall 2 really surprised me. I played this on a 4K TV on a PS4 Pro and found it to be a sublime shooter. It looks the part with colourful graphics and a smooth 60 frames per second presentation. The controls are spot on, with impressive verticality and range of movement when playing as a Pilot and feeling nigh on invincible as a Titan never seems to get old. I’ve mainly played the single player campaign and while not the longest (it felt about 8 hours long), it was memorable – the developers really made the most of the differing Pilot and Titan strengths and weaknesses when designing the campaign. It was also inventive, with one…temporal…level the highlight for me – something I hadn’t seen before. I have started to get into the multiplayer and it is accessible, with levelling up depth included and lots of modes. All in all a great package, which I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI have never posted a review for anything on Amazon despite being a regular customer for over 10 years now.

However I am absolutely obsessed with this game so feel compelled to write something.

I have been an avid COD player (MW1-3, black ops 1 & 3, and WaW) but have found the whole thing a bit samey over the last few years and got a little bored of it. My housemate bought Battlefield 1 which I played but it just is all a little too slow for me.

Titanfall 2 came out a little under the radar but it is absolutely the game for any FPS fan in need of some freshness like myself.

The campaign is short but very memorable, if you play on hard or above the combat (especially titan vs titan) actually prepares you pretty well for the multiplayer.

The multiplayer is incredibly fun and surprisingly balanced with the titans allowing you some respite if you aren’t having a great game on foot, and to top it off all the DLC is free which is unheard of today especially when it comes to an EA published game.

I cannot recommend this game highly enough.

A much more polished, exciting sci-fi shooter than last years Call of Duty offering Infinite Warfare. Extremely fun, fast-paced multiplayer and an engaging story. Plus great post-launch support, with one of the few genuinely good implementations of microtransactions in AAA gaming.

This is a much improved game over the first one. It finally has campaign mode which in it self is very enjoyable. If you happened to play the multiplayer beta earlier in the year and wasn’t fond of it, give the full game version another shot as they fixed a lot of the issues plaguing the MP beta. Probably a game of the year contender for me.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersA surprize hit for me, never played number one, but I was absolutely blown away by the fast, fluid gameplay, a decent single player experience with a multiplayer that’s both fun to play & highly accessible I usually stay away from multiplayer elements preferring single player, but it just has that core gameplay right, with a tonne of great modes, and a solid player base as of 24/12/16 never waited for a match and no silly micro transactions everything is unlockable with experience earned.
The first time I got into a Titan it blew me away, something that hasn’t happened in a while for me, A challenging while not been to hard-core FPS, just right. Anyone that’s on the bench with this should defiantly buy it.
It just was a thrill to experience all the different mechs there abilities, the single player experience has so many great elements to it, fluid gunplay, Titan fights, actually a surprisingly good platformer as well, a solid story, the only complaint is that it’s short I wanted more by the end but what a ride it was every level was fun and unique.

PS4 owners now is the time to get your Titan and get into the action for this is what gaming is pure joy to play & experience
For me this is a 9/10 always room for improvement but just good quality overall you won’t be disappointed

As a long time cod player, I’ve only recently made the transition to a different fps and titanfall has really exceeded expectations. The contrast between the ‘standard’ gameplay as the pilot before then moving to operate as the titan adds a huge amount of depth and variation to play, increasing the longevity of the game enormously.
The lack of additional charged expansion content is the icing on the cake.
    Strongly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersTitanfall 2 is a huge improvement over the first game, with one of the best first-person shooter campaigns since Half Life 2. No, really.

Following up the multiplayer-only first game, I didn’t have high hopes for a single-player Titanfall experience. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The story is short and you can complete it in a day, but it manages to achieve so many things in under 8 hours that most shooters don’t in twice that time.

It’s true your character feels like a generic FPS protagonist, but this is remedied by the relationship between Jack and his inherited Titan, BT. The pair quickly become an unstoppable force and the campaign is a roller coaster for the rest of the game. This manages to stay fresh by presenting you with innovative gameplay scenarios and settings that stop this from feeling like a linear, Call of Duty experience. I’ll definitely be playing through the story again.

The multiplayer is equally excellent, with a fluid, fast pace that makes other shooters feel slow and clunky in comparison. With little practice you will be running along walls, hurling yourself across the maps and sliding into firefights. It feels so cool. Traversing the map becomes fun, and doing so in style is crucial to get the drop on your enemy.

Multiplayer is rewarding, too, with new weapons, abilities, skins and other items to unlock as you play. It’s one of the best first-person shooters I have played in years.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWOW! Is how to describe Titan Fall 2. In fact I’d give it 10 stars if Amazon allowed it.

This leaves the new Call of Duty and Battlefield in the dust. You can tell this game was made by two people responsible for Call of Duty Modern Warfare. The two guys that Infinity Ward sacked. Now I know why Call of Duty went downhill from after Modern Warfare, these guys where the creative minds behind the outfit.

    How to describe it?

Campaign is really good, albeit I haven’t finished it yet as I’m too addicted to Multiplayer. Multiplayer is fun whether you’re good at it or not, after a few days playing it I soon got much better regularly scoring at the top of the board.

I prefer “Attrition” which is like Team Death match on cod… but very different. You run around killing the other teams Pilots, they’re called Pilots as they Pilot the big Robots that all have their own abilities. As you run around a percentage meter is rising, when it hits 100% you can call your Titan Fall Robot down. It lands and is surrounded by a force field so the other team can’t attack it until you’re in it. Then you run around killing enemy team members, Grunts (little soldiers on the other side) Reapers (Smaller automated robots) and Spectres (smaller again little robots)… You can pull up force fields to stop other Tital Falls damaging you as much.

Occasionally the enemy will jump on your Tital Fall, if you have an anti rodeo electric smoke canister you can use that to hopefully kill the little pest. If not jump out of the Titan Fall and shoot him off it. You can also jump on the enemies Titan Fall and pull it’s battery out, halving it’s health. Then jump back on it and put a grenade in it… and shoot it till it explodes.

A tip to help you get on other Titans to sabotage them is to select the “hook perk” and use it to pull yourself up onto it and remove it’s battery. Another tip for killing the enemy is to be able to see where they are better, find roofs and rocks etc to climb up on to, to get a birds eye view and kill the enemy.

Use the 3 shot hemlock…. it’s very accurate and often gets you a kill with one pull of the trigger. All in all, I won’t even entertain the idea of playing Call of Duty now I have this game… it’s not remotely comparable in fun.

Buy this game you will 100% not be disapointed!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis game completely slipped passed me, I barely saw any advertising for it, after reading a glowing review online about it, I gave it a try.

This game has an amazingly well written and designed campaign, that I haven’t seen in a long time (especially not in a shooter, not since Modern Warfare, which the founders of Respawn also worked on).
While a comparable length to other shooter campaigns, 7-8 hours you get drawn into the setting and gives you a balance between pilot, titan, and platforming/puzzle solving esk game play.
The level design is worth mentioning on its own, and stands out as some of the best in recent years, with elements of game play making some stand out whilst others are almost labyrinthine in layout it makes for a thourghly enjoyable and challenging campaign.

The multiplayer is quick paced with a fairly steep learning curve but the ‘training’ is provided to get the hang of it, such as the time trail in the campaign, and Pilot vs Pilot matchmaking which helps to introduce you to a different style of playing.

Worthwhile purchase especially with the added benefit that any game changing DLC will be free unlike most games these day. Don’t let this one slip pasted like it almost did for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIf you are sick of terrible boring first person shooters like Battlefield and call of duty then this game is for you.
Similar to other First person shooters, Titanfall 2 has the same basic mechanics but adds much much more to the mix with titans and perks like the grapple hook.
The campaign adds a new feature to the series which the first Titanfall lacked, the campaign is short like all First person shooters but is very entertaining and worth your while playing.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NAY SAYERS.
The Beta had a lot of problems but the developers Respawn listened and fixed them all, Titanfall 2 is just as fast paced as Titanfall 1 and the Online community is alive and well on PS4, I get connected to games instantly or within a few seconds.

Golden Review Award: 76 From Our UsersLet me start by saying this. This is an EA game and there is NO paid DLC, NO season passes required and NO microtransactions. All current content and future content released such as maps and game modes will be completely free. EA should be commended for that alone.
Luckily on top of that its a really fun game too. And if like me you thought a game about mech’s isn’t really your thing stick around because i thought that before i bought it too.

    CAMPAIGN:
If you have played games like Call Of Duty but became tired of the same gameplay year after year then you really should consider this game. You’ll easily be able to pick this up and start playing if you’re used to those types of game. So while the gameplay is familiar things such as gun combat and wall running feel so well refined and fluid (taking out a bunch of enemy soldiers while wall running then jumping to a roof top and taking out more) is just so satisfying.
The time in combat outside your mech VS inside it worked really well, possibly edging towards more combat outside on foot which i personally liked but the mech battles were also more fun than i expected with a good selection of different classes you should be able to find one that suits your play style.
There is also plenty of different weapons for your soldier while on foot, you’ll constantly be finding a different gun and they all feel and handle a little different but all feel responsive and fun to use.
The storyline i’ll be honest im not even 100% sure what was going on half the time but i was having enough fun that i didn’t care. There’s even dinosaurs in this game you’ll fight against, i don’t know why but they’re there! and that’s pretty coool. The story doesn’t take itself too seriously anyway. Its self aware and knows you just wanna shoot and blow stuff up
The graphics are on par with any other triple A game and some of the environments especially at the beginning of the game look so good.
There’s even puzzles in this game, one stage in particular where you are constantly time traveling back and forth while wall running to access certain areas blocked in the other time period. It’s nothing too difficult but it makes the game more than just a brainless shooter.
Overall the campaign is good fun. A little short but most people get these games for the multiplayer so moving on to that.

    MULTIPLAYER
This really gives COD a run for its money. As previously mentioned all the content is free including future maps and game modes etc.
There is plenty of customization for both the soldier and titan such as weapon and suit camos which you will gradually unlock as you play as well as new skills, abilities and upgrades to your weapons etc.

There’s a good selection of game modes, generally you’ll start each match off on foot and as you get more kills you’ll get the ability to call down your mech then its a war between the two teams titans. This makes you play more strategically for example if your team mate is in a mech and you are still on foot you can jump on top of an enemies mech, steal the battery from it and put it into your team mates mech to give them an advantage.
Still not sure about mechs? There’s a game mode without mechs with just on foot gun combat similar to COD but in my opinion much better. I haven’t played a COD game for a while now but here’s why i think Titanfall is better especially in this game mode.
    No ridiculous spawn points
You’re not getting killed every 5 seconds
The maps are bigger in Titanfall and actually well thought out
    You can play more tactically
The gun combat just feels really responsive and has that addicting feeling like COD but just slightly better in my opinion.

This game is hugely underrated at the moment and why they would release it wedged in between the release of Battlefield and Infinite warfare is anyone’s guess but its definitely a game you shouldn’t overlook and if you haven’t bought Infinite warfare yet you really should consider this instead. Did i mention future DLC is free?!

EDIT: Just to keep this review as accurate as possible there has been a recent update which has added a few microtransactions but purely cosmetic and mainly just new skins. The new update has also added a new free map as well as other features.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI absolutely loved this game, visually superb, engaging story and fast and furious combat both in the mech and as cooper. Movement and gunplay are very slick and above all it’s so damn fun to play which is what it’s all about out, isn’t it? My only gripe? The campaign is way too short but I’ve dipped my toe into the multiplayer which is fun but for me it’s all about the campaign.

This game needs way more attention for what it is, its insanely fun, well balanced and expands upon all the positives of the previous game. People who look at this game and think it looks generic or too similar to the latest Call of Duties are completely wrong, the movement system is amazing and fluid, the game focuses less on simple firefights and more on outsmarting your enemy using the environment. The campaign is also fantastic (it was made by the same people who made MW1 so…). Overall I would 100% recommend this game.

Thought I would leave my review of titanfall 2 till I had played the years other 2 big fps games COD and Bf1. Have to say having spent time with all 3 games Titanfall 2 is by far the best choice. It’s fast paced gameplay and fluid movement makes the competition seem clunky and boring. The multiplayer and campaign are both fantastic as is the customization and unlockables in multiplayer. Titanfall 1 became boring quite quickly but this has so much more longevity. It’s a surprise wasn’t expecting it to be this good as I usually prefer COD and BF, even with Modern Warfare Remastered this is better. Buy it. It’s the best fps of the year and possibly the best fps so far on PS4.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a very good game the campaign has been very well done and it is obvious in not just a after thought.
    Graphics look nice.
Respawn have balanced between pilot and Titan very well when you are going against each other you don’t feel one side is over powered. The multiplayer has kept the same feel as Titanfall 1 with some improvements the Titans don’t regenerate there shields now.
If you are new to FPS there is a game mode called Attrition which has AI as well as players so you can still contribute to your team. You do die quicker in this game than it predecessor so you will Respawn more often.

What would of been nice to see is offline multiplayer but unfortunately that’s not there.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought the original because, hey you get to pilot a titan. Overall it was good, but the limited campaign was disappointing as I’m more of a solo than vs player. I bought this with an amount of trepidation. Started the campaign and was all in all impressed. The controls are smooth, the enemies tend to swarm you and are a bit too stupid to make them much of a challenge – hence the four stars. Once you and the titan are up and running things get better. I’m enjoying from what I’ve played so far. I’d love this to be VR compatible as there were rumours the developer was looking into it. All in all it’s a good FPS, smarter or more tactically aware enemies would make the campaign more of a challenge.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersReally good and fun multiplayer, the story mode is welcomed to compliment the online. I personally love the game, swapping from pilot to mech. The online runs flawless with plenty of unlocks the new titans are a nice touch with each own special abilities. I pre ordered COD IW but took the receipt and swapped it to this, because the beta was, I can I put it, s***…. It’s nice to have a optional shooter apart from cod and battlefield. In my opinion this is the game that I prefer, I had played all the betas but I chose to go for titanfall. My friends and brothers agree so multiplayer is fresh and fun. The story mode is really something different going alone then giant mech fights with your trusty mech which is fully customisable with the dpad right direction, as you progress you find guns with further become customisable. I’ve played it for 4-5 hours and time has vanished, I love been able to sprint, wall rung hang shoot and continue the speed of putting them together, you kind of challenge yourself to see how fast you can put your skills together while eliminating robot enemies and troops. All in all its a really good game, it’s only the die hard cod fans that will moan simply because they are happy COD are overcharging and not giving a s*** about game play any more, they even copied titanfall game play, cod are sinking fast with fans I was one of them. New era of games so do yourself a favour and pick it up, you won’t be disappointed.
