Works fine. It needs a little tap to turn it on (in the instructions, helps when you read them). Helped work out the right temperature for my babies first bath. Had difficulty turning it back on.

We loved it. I was looking to buy one to take the temperature of our baby’s bathtub, we couldn’t have chosen a better one. It goes just as they explain. It’s beautiful, a light flashes if the temperature is too high, manageable…
We loved it. We are very satisfied.

A great asset for helping to bath baby with the water temperature showing on the easy to read floating thermometer , it flashes red if the water is too hot for baby ! A great safety feature and the price is very reasonable . Can be used in the water or out , these make a great baby shower gift also .

5.0 out of 5 stars A very useful guide for bathtime with baby .

I use this every time I bath my little ones. It tells you when the water is too hot by flashing red. It’s a lifesaver and would recommend to all new mums.

I used the one from the Scottish baby box originally which sadly broke so I ordered this one to replace it. It seems to take a bit longer to register the bath temp than the previous one I had but works fine. Its clear and flashes red when it’s too ho

Very handy, I always have it next to my baby’s cot so I can check the temperature throughout the night. Only problem is it’s hard to see in the dark at night but I just use my phone light. It’s also brilliant to use in the bath, if the water is too hot it has a red flashing ligh

Literally a life saver. This is what I buy for all of my friends baby showers. It’s compact so you can travel with it, you can use it for a room or the bath! The baby also loves playing with it in the bath. Fantastic.

So i did the typical thing and not read the instructions properly and thought it was faulty. To realise u have to bang (not hard) the thermometer for it to start working. Uwed in bedroom and bath everyday for 12weeks so far so good

We did weigh up whether it was worth purchasing this product. With our first baby on the way, the ‘essential’ newborn purchases have stacked up considerably over the last few months. So, I was slightly hesitant when it came to another thermometer (above the the actual baby thermometer).

However, this is quite multifunctional. Not only can you use it by sitting it in the nursery/bedroom to keep track of room temp (for safe sleeping), but, also, you can chuck it in bath water to track the water temp as well.

Other water thermometers are more of a faff, but this one can just sit in the water with minimal fuss.

If you’re slightly paranoid like me on temperatures of water/rooms/sleep environments, then it’s definitely worth it for some quick, easy, reassurance.

    Nice and easy to
Use. Just need to give it a tap if using for a room

Or Chuck into the water for bath time for it to start working

Easy to use tap it of a surface to get the room temperature , then for bath time just but it in the bath and it will tell you the temp if to hot a little red light will start flashing

Had a few problems at the beginning as I was tapping and didn’t do anything. Husband did a really hard tap and it worked. So tap really hard for it to work but does the job

Great does as it says. Only thing I don’t like is it flips over very easy so you can’t see the reading and the part the tests the temp is out of the water.

This thermometer is not bad. The first time I used it, I didn’t realise you had to ‘tap’ it to work. This is very temperamental and sometimes requires a good whack to get it working. It is a bit slow to react to temperature changes. The screen is an LCD screen, which means you can only read the temperature by being straight in front of it.

If the temperature is above 38 degrees Celsius, there is a little red flashing light above the screen which blinks at you to warn you the temperature is too hot for baby, which is a nice safety feature.

If they could sort these few niggles out they would have a great product!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good waterproof thermometer, with a few niggles

Not too much to be said here. Tap the thermometer on a hard surface to activate with the included battery, stick it in the water and allow it a little time to settle on the water temp.

It seems to refresh pretty quickly and certainly seems accurate. Our little one is happiest at 38 degrees. I tend to fill a little too warm, and bring down to temp with cold water.

Hopefully it’ll last, not had long enough to comment, but for the time we’ve had it, it’s been in use for every bath and gives us peace of mind that the water is safe and warm – the flashing warning means it’s not something we can overlook.

    I’d buy it again.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersIt is a good product, it seems pretty sturdy and it does give an accurate temperature. It’s made of a plastic and a kind of sturdy rubber matter material so there are no sharp edges which is good. And the accuracy of the temperature is good too.

However, the things I don’t like is the fact you have to tap it on the bath to turn it on. Didn’t realise this at first and thought I had a duff one. I have had ones previously that just turn on when it hits the water which is a lot easier. The other issue for me is the display; it seems to be one of those lcd displays that you have to look at it at a certain angle to be able to see the reading which is annoying.

Like I said I do like it, but those couple of things bring it down for me, hence the 4 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars It’s accurate, but hard to read the display and not straightforward to turn on.
