This mat does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a good size for baby’s high chair meaning that it catches ALMOST everything she drops without being so large it takes over the room. It also wipes clean which makes it way easier than having to sweep and mop the floor after every meal. The non slip is effective and the design is very inoffensive. Honestly I have no negatives to report really, I’ve found this to be an effective and useful item.
It is very thick and the texture is a bit more tougher (?) than another one we have. Both are good for each usage and bread crumbs don’t stand out on this sheet (whether it is good or bad is up to you I guess). We like it!
It’s a decent mat, wipe clean and easy to roll up to keep out of the way. Seems a little smaller to other ones we’ve had but still pretty good.
Washed up really well in washing machine but gets a bit manky between washes. Great size for our high chair (baby born) which has a small footprint but I would go bigger if I had a traditional padded highchair like the chico polly etc.
This is a great mat for under the high chair. Isn’t the easiest to wipe clean, but it goes in the washing machine well. I just put it back down ‘wet’ (it isn’t really that wet as soon as it comes out the machine) but it doesn’t need drying. Protects the floor and is non-slip. Highly recommend.
We actually bought this for our toddler for when he’s painting, doing crafts, kinetic sand etc. basically anything where you want to protect your floor. It’s fabulous, great quality fabric and it sticks to the floor completely. I wish we’d bought it right back at the start. If you’re thinking of buying this for under a high chair and are put off by the price, don’t be, it will have many uses as they grow.
This is great as it’s machine washable, leave it to hang dry overnight and it’s dry by the morning. I’ve only given it 4 stars as it doesn’t stick or cling to the floor brilliantly, so constantly moving the little ones chair, without lifting it, means the mat ends up twisted and folded. But so far it’s definitely helped keep our floor cleaner!
I got this as I needed something to protect my carpets at bath time. I don’t have a tub in my bathroom so we use a baby bath in his nursery but he loves to kick during the bath time and splash water everywhere. This mat is perfect because my carpets stay dry and it’s big enough.
Not only is this great for use under the high chair. It’s also very useful to use for tummy time. Easily packed to take when visiting family and friends with no need to worry about putting baby on the floor.
I’ve had 2 splash mats before this. They did the job but I ended up having to throw them away after getting ruined. What I love about this mat is it can go in the washing machine at the end of the day, which really helps with stains from messy foods. The non stick is also really good and I like the design. I always wait to do my reviews after I have used them for a while and I really recommend this.
I bought two of these. They’re a good size, perfect for under the high chair, or on the carpet for a little living room picnic during wet weather. They can be tricky to clean but I just chuck mine in the washing machine and they come up like new. I’ve had mine for about 5 months now, no stains, no rips or tears, the grip surface underneath still works really well. I love these. The patterns are pretty awesome too.
I bathed my 4 month old on the bedroom floor last week and used this to go under the little tub and she kicked the water like crazy! The mat protected the carpet from a good soaking, so yea, pretty happy with it!
I searched for what I thought would be the best for a high chair splash mat. Decided on this. I love that it’s quite thin and floppy so easy to fold but not thin in a cheap way. It’s nice and grippy on the bottom. So easy to wipe. It leaves slight stains (we like to use paprika) but to be expected and they’re not noticeable. We tried it in the washing machine at 30C as suggested, and it came out lovely! The size is great. Our 2 year old is going through a bit of flinging stage, so it’s great for catching those bits that fly further than the others
This item completely lives up to expectations, it’s a really good size to go under a high chair, really easy to clean with a daily wipe then the machine wash got it looking brand new. It’s really durable and looks good too. Can thoroughly recommend this especially for the joy that is baby led weaning
Great product that can be chucked in the washing machine to sort it out after a messy meal time. My only complaint is it is a little overpriced considering you could go to a shop and buy a 1m square cut of waterproof fabric and do the same job. However I love it and am very happy I have it. I chuck it and the bibs in all together with some antibacterial laundry and a little stain remover and it comes out good as new. It also dries really quickly when hung up
I don’t usually write reviews but I wanted to make a point of how game changing this mat is. It’s made dinner time such a breeze as there is no more mess on the carpet.
I put the high chair on this and then wipe it all up in one sweep at the end.
I washed it in the washing machine and it came out looking brand new.
I used the mat for last 4 months, twice a day, while weaning my little one. She happily threw around herself some beetroot, pasta bolognese, cherries, raspberries and whatever else you can think of that heavily stains.
I wipe it clean after each use with cloth and a sanitizer, and throw into washing machine once a fortnight as it doesnt hold smells.
Although there are some stains (I wash it only in gentle cycle at 30 degrees) I expected much more wear and tear after so much use, this mat literally saved my carpet! The anti-slip dots on reverse are still intact, no loose threads or frying edges. We used it while doing arts and crafts and recently took it to the beach in replacement of blanket. For 15 I am well impressed!
Propably won’t buy again as this one will last me a lifetime but I would recommend this mat to every parent.
