The finished product is good quality and looks lovely. However, this was one of the most difficult flat packs we’ve ever attempted due to the difficult to interpret instructions. And we’re no strangers to flat pack..
Some of the wood panels split whilst drilling and the screws clashed so it was far from ideal. We had to ignore a lot of the pre made holes and make our own as to avoid other screws.
Gave it a 4 star because the end product is worth the headache.
We picked up some free pallets to make a stand for this as we thought it wasn’t worth the extra 50 for the standing unit and it’s come out lovely.. Would recommend it!
Bought this for my daughters birthday as she absolutely loves making mug pies but unfortunately haven’t been able to set it up as there’s a few pieces missing. Have emailed and no response so that’s why I have come to rate unfortunately.
Easy to attach to playhouse however needed to put small blocks of wood on the inside so there were no sharp screws poking through exposed. Painted it to match the playhouse
Our son loves it and has already been making so much out of it! Very sturdy. Drilled a hole and installed a drain, got lots of little pipe pieces which a four year old spends hours assembling.
I suppose it is reasonable value given the quality of the bowel and water tap and utensils supplied in the box. My grandaughter loves it so happy all round. Does take a little time to build so dont rush it.
My pre toddler (20) months old, has spent the best part of the start of the summer in the garden playing with this mud kitchen but we use sand instead of mud.
Great little kit. Do drill pilot holes. Only 4 stars as frame for plastic basin was too wide. We added an extra bit of wood to be sure it wouldn’t fall through and it was fine. 4yr old loves it!
This has been a big hit with my 3 year old, his dad took a good hour or so to build and needed his electric screw driver but once it was up it’s been great. By fra the least expensive option that comes with a little tap and he has a great time with it.
Its ok tad expensive for what it is but its exactly what I wanted so I’m happy with it and my kids love it I actually ordered a second one a few days later because they were fighting over the little tap thing so they have one each now. It was easy to assemble pre drilling our own holes as all measurements are provided. Hopefully they will last a while I might add some front supporting legs to make them move sturdy.
This has been an absolute winner in our house. Bought for my daughter’s 5th birthday – she loves it and plays in it everyday.
We attached ours to the garage wall (as opposed to a playhouse) and it is incredibly sturdy. Easy to put together and looks great!
Would definitely recommend.
My 2 year old loves this! You can attach it to a fence, or in our case I built a little house from pallets, that it’s fixed onto.
The little tap means she can add water to the sink and the pots and pans that come with it are sturdy and fit nicely on the cooking area.
It comes with stencils for you to paint the cooker bit yourself which I hadn’t realised when I bought it, so I’ve not done this yet (my daughter doesn’t seem bothered though).
Ordered this In the week, it’s perfect for our 3 year old. We don’t have a playhouse to mount it to, my plan was to mount it straight into our garden fence which worked really well. She played for a couple of hours as soon as we put it up. The little water tap was her favourite bit. I like that we can just unscrew it from the fence and mount it a bit higher as she gets taller unlike the fixed table versions
