I agree with previous buyers who commented on initial difficulty in using it. But once you have the hang of it , it is very efficient and I’m glad to have a hairless chin.

It took a few attempts to get it to work but when it does it will remove hair. It is a bit hit and miss but still worth it an am sure my technique will improve

There is definitely a nack to using this effectively, but once you’ve got the hang of it (didn’t take long), it incredibly effective! I have dark hair, pale skin & will never go back to waxing after using this. Top tip – use on clean skin & apply a bit of aloe Vera gel after use to prevent any soreness/spots.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLet’s start with the first time you use it-it hurts. Of course it does-you’re literally ripping numerous hairs out of your face at the same time. But with all of these types of things, it gets less painful the more you get used to it

Is a bit fiddly to use initially, but again, you get used to it. I now gross my husband out by sitting on my sofa on a Sunday with it-very therapeutic!!

Once you get over the pain and used to handling the device, it’s pretty good. It doesn’t get every single hair, but enough that I’m satisfied that I don’t look like the bearded woman. If I had a third hand however, and could pull my skin taught, I suspect it would work better (husband won’t help-as I said, this is the one tool that grosses him out) but you need both hands to use.

    Worth it in my view

I’m so happy with this product as waxing can leave redness, this was easy to use and not very painful, it was good at removing the peach fuzz type hair, would definitely recommend

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI used to use hair remover cream, but I sometimes ended up with red marks on my face. This contraption removes my unwanted hairs without any irritation. It is a bit uncomfortable to being with, but as the hairs are removed it gets less so — I find it strangely satisfying as I know that the less it hurts the less hairs remain, until they are all gone and I can’t feel anything!

Took a bit of time getting use to them but now wouldn’t be without them as good removal of hair on upper lip. Doesn’t always remove a couple of the stubborn darker hairs but the pack comes with tweezers so just quickly tweeze those away. Recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersJust what I had been looking for. Pleasebe patient and try holding and moving the tweezerman in all directions to find out what is most effective for you. Used on upper lip, chin and to shape eye brows. I could not use on the neck due to loose skin. Great product and I use it every other day so always look neat and tidy. Great product.
Do not give up as might take time

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis actually works. Not painful, more satisfying! Almost addictive once you start using it. I find it works best when I don’t make my skin taut, and when I hold the twiddler on one side still and twist the other!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThought I’d try this as the lady that did my threading moved away. So pleased I did. Really good price and easy to use (the reviews on here helped me work it out opposed to the instructions on the box they were useless!) Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersRecommended on a blog I trust. Not a cheap brand but usual tweezerman quality. A surprisingly good little gadget that takes up next-to-no- space and, because it doesn’t need other products or power, it is great for travel. Works well on occasional light facial hair. Not sure it would be sufficient for any significant issues and it would be too much of a faff to use on large area, but it seems kinder to face skin than waxing and the regrowth is soft. Fiddly at first, needs practice and a magnifying mirror.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThese are good but tricky to use at first. The ‘instructions’ on the package are useless. With a bit of trial and error and the help of a YouTube video as suggested here, I was able to use them. I find them very good now and great for reducing peach fuzz.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI like this hair remover, as there are so many tools and gadgets on offer, and they all look so useful and miraculous. This one, apart from normal tweezers, is something I can keep handy whilst watching TV and just use it by feel.
My skin is definitely better now.

I liked these, easy to use and my face was left nice and smooth. The free tweezers were very handy as they were useful for plucking the few stubborn black hairs on my chin and neck. I have been plucking the hair on my face and that made my face very sore that’s why I thought I’d try this, these were easy to use and you do have some redness on the face afterwards but that soon calms down. Definitely easier to use than the powered epilator that I brough

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI just got this today and already wouldn’t be without it. It’s a fantastic tool, but does take some experimenting to get the result. Firstly, make sure you turn the handles the right way (in the direction of the little arrows). Secondly, I found how taught the skin is made a difference. Sometimes taught was better (pushing your cheek out with your tongue, stretching jaw wide etc), sometimes looser skin was better. But most important was, thirdly, to press the spring into the skin quite firmly (once you get used to it). Just rolling it over the surface lightly isn’t enough for some hairs/areas, you need to push it into the skin to press it in towards the root of the hair. This feels counterintuitive, as it does nip a bit and you don’t want to make it worse, but actually I found it’s less nippy if you press in, and more effective. I used the straight sides for larger areas – cheeks, jawline – & the curved middle for smaller bits – upper lip and above eyebrows. I’ve not been brave enough to try it below eyebrows yet (in case I pull out a big chunk of brow), and the website says it’s not for brows. It’s quite addictive and I’m really pleased I bought it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this with a degree of scepticism due to a real mixed-bag of reviews, and also varying opinions on YouTube tutorials.

I had to write a review at this has changed my facial hair removal system forever! Having been threaded, salon and home waxed, and also tweezed, I did not find this a painful alternative – if anything it’s easier to control the process.

I sat running this over my face as I watched a movie this afternoon, and there is not a single bit of peach fuzz or mustache or chin hair left.

Initially I was running the bent section of the coil over my jawline, chin, cheeks, and upper lip, but I found that using the straighter parts in some areas actually yielded more “satisfying” hair removal (they grabbed more).

It’s really easy to use, it’s clean, and it doesn’t rip your skin like some wax strips have a tendency to do. It just requires some patience!

It really does work once you get used to it but must be used correctly to be effective Quick easy not painful saves time and money on waxing &other hair removal products. You can use as often as you like to up keep problem areas. I only use on upper lip and chin although have used on nostrils. Love i

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis takes some price I reccomend starting on your top lip first as it’s easy to stretch the skin with your tongue leaving your hand free for the threading stick you know when you have it right as you can hear the hairs coming out
The bottom of the jaw is tricky until you get the knack of it but practice makes perfect and when you have the knack it’s a valuable tool
It’s not as painful as threading is that brought tears to my eyes when I had it done at the salon
I would recommend trying these I weighed up buying a cheaper version but decided tweezerman dont put their name to rubbish so decided to spend a bit more and go for the manufacturing experts a decision I’m glad I made as they dont have nasty plastic handles that snap or hold bacteria
It’s worth spending a little more and taking your time to master the art of using these
Dont give up determination is the key
I found by keep trying I magically got the knack

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersFirstly, to learn how to use it go online and you’ll find lots of tutorials – the instructions on the pack are vague to say the least. Secondly, don’t give up; once you get the knack it’s so easy – and dare I say rather enjoyable to use. I would say using it after a warm shower/bath is going to help, as the hairs pop out much easier and your skin is clean, afterwards I use a toner to refresh the skin. In the past I had some electrolysis sessions (I couldn’t have laser due to be very fair) and they were expensive and the hair came back. So for me personally this is a complete game changer for my hairy chin – I haven’t used it on the upper lip, preferring to use a trimmer there. As for the price, it looks and feels very well made and I imagine having it for many years, so while the initial cost might seem a lot, it’s worth it and you get a free tweezer which is handy for the hairs that are a little too short for the facial hair remover to reach. When you think about the cost of electrolysis and laser (with no guarantee that the hair won’t return), this is a complete and utter bargain!!! Highly recommend this for all us hairy girls 😉

I was just about to return these tweezers when I thought I’d look online to see how exactly you use it! Once you get the hang of it it’s actually good, but there’s no information on the packaging at all sadly, so you have to look on the website, glad I did as it removed those tiny hairs in the corners of my mouth which normal tweezers can’t reach.

A little time needed to get used to using this. No instructions included. Needed to play with it for a while but now getting good results. Keep trying and you will get the hang of it. Great for face, upper and lower lip areas. Not sure about regrowth rate as only had it for two days. I found tweezers good. A little expensive.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhen I received this there were no instructions either in or on the packaging on how to use it. I rolled it over my face but it had no effect whatsoever. So I searched on YouTube which gave several good videos on how to use this.
Step 1: hold the coloured handlebars in both hands
Step 2: make sure both the arrows on the two silver collars are pointing towards your face
Step 3: roll the bent coil over the area you want epilating whilst rotating the silver collars towards your face
It does work. It works best on facial fuzz and less well on more stubborn whiskers. But it is good and it is less traumatic on the face than a full on epilator.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI was sceptical of these in the beginning as they didn’t seem to work but they seem to work better the more I use them. I find that if you turn the handles and you can’t feel any hair being pulled you should turn it around so you are holding each handle in the opposite hand and they work better. They don’t remove all hairs so you will need to use another method to remove the remaining hairs. Comes with mini tweezers.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI am only joking, I love this gadget so much I bought a spare just in case. I admit there is a learning curve to using this product and it took me an hour to master it. The trick is to wash your face beforehand to soften the hair, then hold the Tweezerman with the logo facing towards your face and turn the handles. I have thick black hair so when the coil grabs a hair I pull the Tweezerman away from my face. Once you are proficient you will be able to move the coil around your upper lip and chin quickly with little discomfort. Afterwards I apply witch hazel to my lip with cotton wool and a little tea tree oil cream. I admit this gadget is not painless you can feel the coil grabbing the hair but it is not excruciating, no worse then threading.
