This is a really nice quality and well made cable for the price. I’ve had no issues at all using it, and it feels like it’s going to last a good long time.
I use this cable to connect my iphone to a PA system when playing music and it does exactly what its supposed to do. Excellent product, good transfer of audio. Would Recommend.
Ugreen always seem to make good quality products and this is another one of them. No complaints.
Bought to connect my “smart” Samsung TV to my elderly NAD amplifier and B&W speakers. The jack plugged into the headphones socket on the back of the TV. Result vastly improved sound quality for under 10.
Used this to connect my TV to an integrated surround sound system – good length of cable with what appears to be robust connectors. In the process of ordering another.
Was looking for a 3.5 mm headphone plug to 2 x RCA phono, to connect my iPod to my mixing desk.
Quality product works flawlessly and very nicely put together.
Will be buying other interconnect cables soon. 100% recommended.
These are very good cables indeed. Apple and other major respected companies approved. The few negatives that there are are most probably jealous competitors as they have sold 37k of this one alone on Amazon…there is a reason they have sold so many more than anyone else and its is not price…they are just better! Gold plating always a must! Never buy one that is not.
This has helped me connect my echo dot through line out to my av receiver (Denon) so it can then use the speaker system as an output. Apart from the improved sound quality and volume, it also means we can use the speaker system as part of the Echo multi-room functions.
Great cable
My grandma wanted me to clear out my late grandpa’s hifi setup and I happened to notice an old Hitachi Amp from the 80s.
I had been considering getting a headphone amp at some point in the near future so I could buy some more high impedence headphones, and noticed the big boy headphone jack on this thing. One issue though. No rca ports on my PC.
Suffice to say I jumped at the opportunity to get this cable so I could test out the amp. I hooked it all up, plugged my current headphones in, turned the volume to like 5, and nearly blew my head off. Yeah, this will drive powerful headphones. My current ones are sitting at 2 out of 10 volume.
The cable does exactly what you think it does. It allows old RCA audio devices to interface with anything that has a headphone jack. The cable seems to be of a good quality, and I am now considering getting a few more of them so I can have multiple devices hooked up to this beast of an amp. An 8 investment has saved me 100-200 I might have spent for a more modern (and less cool looking) solution.
Sound quality is great, but only when plugged into a device that generates sound signals, and then connected to a device that amplifies said signals. When sat on its own and unconnected, this item is as silent as a trappist monk in a library. But I suppose that’s to be expected. As for durability, I have little to go on at this point, as there is little opportunity or reason to test this quality of the item to any great degree. I may buy a second one and use them to construct an indoor swing for my overweight 15 year old cat, Mogzilla. She has little interest in physical exercise these days, given her advancing years and ever-increasing girth, so I have been thinking about alternative ways of providing her with entertainment, and this might be just what the doctor/vet ordered. I’ll provide a follow-up review once Zilla is up and swinging. I’ll give it a week or so, just to make sure the item has proven its staying power.
All in all, very happy with the product… so far. To be continued…
I received recently the Amazon Echo Dot as a Christmas present. I decided to connect it with my Onkyo TX-NT609 AV receiver. Since I didn’t have the Onkyo Bluetooth dongle available, my next option was to connect it using a 3.5mm to RCA cable, 2 meters was going to be enough.
I was looking for something decent and at a reasonable price. I stumbled upon UGREEN and the product currently writing this review for. The discounted price was a strong incentive, since paying 11.99 for a cable to be used with a product costing 44 pounds was a bit too much. But for 5.99 seemed a good option. Especially when you take into consideration the quality of the images and the good product listing. This looked definitely like a good product.
Well, it is a good product!
I was really impressed with the quality of the box and the information. Nicely and neatly packaged. After opening the box, I was really impressed with the quality of the cable. The shiny connectors and the nice sleek sleeving of the cable add a lot of value to the product. The only negative is that the RCA connectors are slightly small in size. But I will come back to this later on.
Connect the 3.5mm jack to Alexa, then to my AV received. The quality of the sound was good. Nothing unexpected there. Everything worked as it should.
When I decided to change the ports at the back of the receiver, this is where I realised that the RCA connectors are a bit small. Since the casing of the connectors is sleek and glossy, no gripping points are available, and the small size makes it a bit difficult to disconnect. Of course, everything depends on the fingers and how difficult is to access the back of the receiver. For my case, it wasn’t. I was able to disconnect the RCA but with a bit extra force since the plugs are slightly tight.
Overall, the product is great! The sound quality is good and for the price, I got the cable for, it feels like a good bargain. I highly recommended, with no hesitation.
