This is great, 100 expirements to keep the kids busy! You can rebuy some of the ingredients (eg baking soda) and kids can continue to use the kit! It’s great value
My kids love this and has kept them entertained for weeks. The only issue with this kit is the English is written poorly albeit still easy to follow instructions. It’s very good value for money!
Kids love it. Only done a handful of experiments so far though.
Only thing is I find, is that you will run out of the ingredients quick, possibly before all the experiments are done but it should be just enough for one or two of each project.
My grandson loves to do experiments and every Saturday when he visits we do an experiment. Up to now they have all worked and amazed us both. Good value for money. Experiments need to be done on protective covering as some like the volcano spread around
A huge amount of science experiments. We have only started doing these recently and have loads more to do. My 8 year old is loving it and so far have only needed to provide water and cooking oil in addition to the items provided.
Fun science kit with a wide range of experiments for inquisitive young minds to explore! Perfect for sparking that initial interest in science or encouraging a wider and deeper look at what goes on in the natural world.
Bought as a present for my Godson’s daughter so haven’t seen it myself. But I have seen the video of her playing with it and she is delighted – especially likes the volcano. Good value for the amount in it.
As I homeschool son, doing science experiments at home is now much easier than having to find things appropriate for my sons age to do, that I can afford.
Loads of items in box, going to have fun doing experiments now, as I know these will work better than trying out withou
The video goes into much more detail, including showing you exactly what you get inside and a really good look at the booklet.
However, in a nutshell:
Things I liked:
+ Absolutely jam-packed with ideas and experiments.
+ Beautifully put-together book.
+ Decent value for money.
Things I didn’t like:
– Small box – looks
– STEAM is not a thing (see the video). STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The Arts are just as important as the Sciences, but you can’t just shoehorn them into a Science kit, just the same as I wouldn’t claim that an art set is also a science kit.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, I really do think this is a decent kit. 25 is quite a lot for a small box, but it is absolutely full to the brim and the experiments are really well presented.
This science kit is quite deceptive. When it arrived I was surprised how small the box was but after opening it properly there is a lot of bits included allowing lots of science experiments to be done.
My nearly 4 year old won’t stop going on about the science kit and wants to do experiments daily. The ones we have tried have been great so far and we both enjoy doing them. It really is great bonding time and educational.
You do need a few extra bits from home like water, hair dryer, plates etc but most are household stuff.
The book is great and very easy to follow. Can’t wait to keep doing more, not the cheapest kit out there but I’d say one of the better ones.
