I have bought the Galt ones previously but this one is packed with more experiments for children! My 7 year old loves it- and it has great explanations for what happens.

4 year old daughter loves this kit and it’s easy to use, great for her age. Only shame is the gold paper has been missing. I would still recommend the set and will buy again for gifts.

My son received this as a present from his Aunty at the weekend and I wanted to leave a review as we have loved learning and experimenting our way through the box.
We started with the gem dig which kept him busy for almost a hour. It’s messy which he loved as we did soak it in some water (as suggested) for a couple of minutes to help with the digging but then we spent ages reading the manual and learning about each of the stones.
The manual is excellent with pictures of equipment and clear instructions as well as questions to ask while doing the experiments.
We did the lava lamp this morning before school which was fab! The box contents are great and you get a lot with only requiring a few basic household ingredients, water/, cooking oil etc. I will be gifting this for any of his friends upcoming birthdays as it’s excellent!
Yes adult supervision is required / it’s not something they can just crack on with but you will also learn loads and it’s a really easy and fun activity to do with your kids.

Bought this for our 6 year old, he absolutely loves it. Would highly recommend. We’ve done a lot of the experiments outside which I would advise.

Get lost in these kits I actually ended up buying too for party gifts for school friends. I might even buy one more for mine for birthday or something I’d imagine it will keep them all busy for a while.

This is a fantastic science play set, especially aimed for around the Key stage 1-2 age group. I think something like this is particularly good because even though they do some science learning at school they don’t really do this kind of hands on interactive style learning until they’re a bit older (I don’t think I did until secondary school!).

This set has a small selection of basic science equipment including a set of goggles and the supplies to carry out over science (mainly chemistry based) experiments, some everyday household items may also be required which are not supplied (eg. water, rubber bands, paper towels). Comes with a well laid out and illustrated booklet containing the easy science experiments you can do at home with a little adult supervision. All really easy, safe and fun, this set is good quality too even though everything is plastic it is not cheap or flimsy.

16.99 (at the time of review) for what you get in it and what you get out of it I think is worth it. The apparatus is reusable so you could repeat some of the experiments or look up other age relevant experiments to do or come up with some of your own. Enjoyable and recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe kit is designed for kids and provides hands-on learning opportunities in various areas of science, such as physics, chemistry, and biology.

The kit includes a variety of equipment and materials that are safe for kids to use, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. My kids have had a blast conducting experiments and learning about the scientific principles behind each one.

The experiments are engaging and fun, and they have helped to foster my kids’ curiosity and love of science. They are also educational, providing valuable learning opportunities in a fun and interactive way.

The kit is also durable and well-made, with high-quality materials that are built to last. This is important, as my kids like to use the kit frequently and I want to make sure it will last.

This is such a fun set of science experiments for kids. There is quite a bit of choice with different experiments to choose from. My son really enjoyed the volcano one. We are working our way through the various experiments usually at the weekend and it is fun to do as a family.

Overall there is a great selection of experiments to choose from and I’m pretty sure all children will find at least a few of them very interesting to do. The instructions are fairly straightforward although depending on age they will probably need an adult to help whether with all of the experiments or just to be at hand to help. All in all my children were very happy with this set!

This is a very educational and fun science kit, parts of it aren’t that great but the majority of what is supplied is good value for the money. Kids will learn a lot while still having fun.

My 5 year old loved this set. I’ve taken a star away for the price as it seems a little high for what it actually is compared to other things like this.

I ordered this Science experiment kit for my brother who has Autism. It is ideal for inquisitive minds as well as those who enjoy sensory play.
Adult supervision is needed and in our case my brother needs guidance to play with this set.

It is quite a comprehensive set and good value for money. And it would make an ideal Unisex gift for children.

    I would recommend it.

We absolutely love this kit. I home ed my 10 year old daughter and we love this set. From a parents point of view it has nearly everything you need apart from the basics that you are very likely to already have in the kitchen. And from a child’s point of view the set up of experiments are easy and so much fun. There are lots of experiments in this set as well so not a one minute wonder. It
Love, love, love this set! This set is a must for any child who loves science.

I would have loved this when I was young. It looks really good fun. Great gift for xmas as well and helps them learn about science in a fun way.

The kit is quite basic, especially for any child closer to the 10 age group. However, as it’s mentioned as being designed for 4-10 year olds, I can see this being a lot more appealing for the 4-6 age group.

There’s a good variety of experiments to perform and when they are done, feel quite rewarding to have pulled off. They are limited though and can be quite basic, so although our 5 year old has been having lots of fun playing with this, it may not be so entertaining for older children.

This exciting child friendly chemistry/science kit has everything you need for some exciting experiments! It’s great for creative children that love this sort of thing! A great gift idea as it has great value for money with 50+ experiments in one kit! Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. 10/10 recommend this kit.

This is an excellent toy if you are looking for something a little different to the usual board games and computer world.
Lots here to occupy a young child with over 50 science experiments that will give hours of fun. The kit encourages the child to use their imagination and try to solve and understand while carrying out the experiments. The experiments can be carried out using common household products.
My grandson is 8 years old and was thrilled by the experiments as was his younger sister.
An instruction manual is included explaining how to carry out the experiments.
This is not just a fun toy but very much an educational experience.

My son is very curious and loves to see how things work, so this is a great kit for him.

Lots of different experiments are included as well as instructions and safety glasses. Helped keep my son occupied for an afternoon and he seemed very interested in what he was doing so this was really lovely to see. We haven’t tried all of the experiments yet, but the volcano one was a big hit!

Priced at 24.99, it is on the expensive side but would make a great gift.

Got this science kit to put my child’s interest towards discovering new things and experimenting with solids and liquids. This science kit contains most basic essentials to begin experiments with. There is very good book with this set which step by step tells what to do to successfully proceed an experiment. Contents are safe for children, no harsh chemicals are added, just crystal growing powder baking soda, citric acid and colouring. Safety glasses are included. I like the chalk ball with gems inside, it’s fascinating to find a hidden treasure 🙂
My daughter is happy with this kit and I also was involved in the process, it’s really fun 🙂

I really like this set. There are so many things for young ones to do. I am looking forward to my grandchildren coming over as they will love it. It has clear instructions and lots of warnings about adult supervision needed. I like that it then encourages interactions between parents and kids as too often we give them iPads, electronic toys etc that they are left to use by themselves. This is definitely worth the current 24.99 price tag as I think it will provide hours of fun.

Ive ordered this for my goddaughter to use under my supervision when she comes to visit every other weekend. This is something that we are going to get a lot of hours of fun out of as we will choose an experiment or 2 each time she comes over.

It can be hard to find something that is educational, fun and interactive, where you can join in as an adult with achild and enjoy it as much as they do. But this is once such item that ticks so many boxes.

This isn’t something I would leave her to get on with on their own, as the box contains chemicals, so pease always ready the safety warnings. But this is such a good introduction into science that im hoping it will trigger an even greater interest for her in the subject. Its going to make such a nice change to the hair and make up stuff she usually wants to do when she is staying over.

My son loves anything to do with experiments so I knew he would love this straight away, there are so many experiments to do in this set and the instructions are very easy to follow.

I love how this is not only fun, but educational aswell, my son is 10 and will need adult supervisor whilst doing this.

    First impressions
    Lots within the pack

    What/When will it be used?
By children but with adult supervision

How is it Packaged – What’s it made from?
It comes in a branded cardboard box

What do I like about this product?
With 50 different experiments to try this will keep intrigued minds occupied for ages and would make a good gift. The instruction book is good, a few grammatical issues but nothing that can’t be understood. Children will really enjoy this but definitely need to be supervised.

    What could be better?
    Nothing it’s fun

    Summary
    Plenty to occupy them

5.0 out of 5 stars 50 experiments for childre

I had been long thinking about subscribing to those monthly science experiment subscription as my son is at an age where he has started getting curious about how things work. Before taking the plunge and wasting a lot of money on the subscription I thought why not try with something like this. The science experiment kit came in a very good and presentable box. After looking at the bits I wasn’t so sure that using these bits I could actually carry out 50 different experiments but These bits and some general household items and what you achieve is just amazing. The kit comes with an instruction booklet which is very good and easy to follow. The booklet has listed all the experiments, steps to perform it and the material needed to perform it. Needless to say we jumped straight in to carry out our first few experiments. We haven’t managed to complete all 50 but have completed a few and I must say myself and my kids have had so much fun. We not only learned the science behind how things work but also spent some quality time together without our gadgets or tele.

This definitely kept the kids occupied and curious. Would highly recommend this set as Christmas or birthday present.

5.0 out of 5 stars Learning with lots of fun!!

Who doesn’t love a good, fun science experiment! This fantastic science lab set for kids is crammed full of everything you need ( with the exception of a few household items ) to create lots of fun, educational experiments.

My 7 year old daughter got stuck straight in with the volcano experiment, whilst my 13 year old made a bee line for the lava lamp experiment. Kids of all ages can really enjoy this, including adults! The experiments we’ve tried so far worked wonderfully well and left the kids very impressed.

You’ll need to provide a few household items like washing up liquid, water and cooking oil to aid with some of the experiments, but the kit comes with a vast amount of items to get you going.

The set includes a great booklet containing all the experiments with pictures and very easy to follow instructions. I would advise having kitchen roll handy for a few of the experiments as it makes the clean up a little easier.

It’s a really fantastic, highly fun and educational set that would make a perfect gift for any inquisitive youngster.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of science filled fun!

If you have a child who is always “Why, what’s that made of, how fast can one of those go?” then he or she will love this child friendly chemistry set. There are a few experiments, including the volcano one that is quite popular … It does require adult supervision, children should not be left alone with this. I love things like this no screens required. Great fun for two people to spend an afternoon explorting the world of science. Great present for boys or girls. Read the listing and follow all advice given. I would gift this if I had grandchildren of the correct age.

My son got an experiment set for his birthday, there was no manual with it. Unfortunately useless and we’ve binned it.

Even more exiting that we’ve now ordered this.

50+ experiment. We can’t wait to try all of them and will update this review ASAP.

    Looks very promising

5.0 out of 5 stars My son is so exited to try all of these experiments

This is every child’s dream present, what kiddy doesn’t love science experiments. I know my grandson is going to love it, probably more than his parents will I’m sure.
It will be messy, but children love mess.
There’s so many possibilities with this box of tricks and no electronic gadgets in sight. That to me is a real bonus.
The instructions are good although I think a lot of the experiments must be done under adult supervision. My grandson is 8 but I wouldn’t want him doing some of these on his own.
A great Christmas or birthday present for an older child.
