Lovely, well made little charger. Bought as a spare for my MacBook Pro but it’s a nicer little charger than the original, so often grab this one when taking the MBP out and about.
Bought this as a second power source for my Ally and it works great! Nice and compact too! Just make sure to pair it with a high wattage cable (I went for a 100w one) and it will give you the full 30w turbo mode!
Bought this to replace my ROG Ally charger (thay my puppy kindly sorted out for me….).
Can run in turbo mode and can easily fit in a travel case (I’m using the Spigen Case).
Absolutely worth the money, just be sure whatever USBC cable you are adding to it is rated 65W or above.
Anker is a product i start loving to use because it charge very fast and its strong durable and long lasting and value of money is good and my product runs well and gives a good long battery life and its a must to buy and try product.. apple samsung and other brands it works perfect and worth buying it and highly recommended too
I love how small and compact this charger is, it’s fast at charging and matches my apple chargers for speeds. Another great product from Anker, it’s a bit pricey but well worth it!
Update! After initially receiving a faulty product I contacted Anker Support and they certainly live up to their reputation. They quickly arranged for me to receive a replacement. They also made me feel like a valued customer.
The wall charger itself is great! Sturdy and feels well built. It’s also pretty small compared to most chargers of a similar wattage. In respect to my phone and other devices it charges them extremely fast. Just make sure you have a 5A cable!
All in all a pleasant experience!
Got this in March & had been using it to charge my MacBook and mobile. It just stopped working. Wrote a 2 stars review on here and Anker customer service was quick to get in touch. They offer me either a full refund or a replacement. I opted for a replacement and it was delivered to me a couple of days later.
The new charger is working well like the one I had in the beginning. Only time will tell if this one would last. However, from my experience, Anker does care about their customers and reputation.
I’ve been using Anker products for a few years now: ear buds, Bluetooth speaker, power bank etc and I’m always impressed with the build quality and performance for the price. Always great value.
This charger is no exception, it’s very small for a 65W unit, but has a really nice finish, and a heft to it that implies quality. Even the packaging has a quality look and feel to it.
I bought this to power my Lenovo Yoga 7I laptop and USB dock when travelling around the UK, and for that it works very well, and this laptop is picky: rejecting any power supplies below 65W. I’d already tried a couple of lower cost adapters that had to be returned. I’m very pleased with this one.
What can I say! Absolute quality and performance as usual from Anker. Charges my Samsung S23 Ultra and Wireless buds in next to no time
This has completely changed how I charge my phone, I can now hook it up for 30 mins and gain 60-80% battery – it makes my old charging brick obsolete and could not imagine going back!
I bought this for use with my S21 Ultra as my original charger was faulty, this is perfect and charges my phone very well indeed with no issues. not much to say other than its good value and well put together, I would recommend it if you need a new high quality, safe charging brick.
As happens sometimes with all electronic items, the one I received didn’t function correctly in my situation.
The support though – goodness me – is outstanding! Anker actively reached out to me and were incredibly helpful and quick in resolving my issue. They have made me more likely to buy their products again, based on how good they were. Excellent.
Don’t often leave reviews but credit where credit is due. Anker is still one of the top brands when it comes to charging accessories. Several months later and this is my go to charger for iPhone and will charge it to full in under an hour. Brilliant to even plug-in for a quick 5 minutes.
Think the RRP is around 35-45 which I would say is too much for a charger but got this on sale for 24.99 and at that price considering it can charge my Dell and Macbook also is outstanding value and would buy again in an instant.
I bought this for my mighty plus so I could vape and charge at the same time and this works perfectly. Far less cumbersome than the laptop power supply you need to do the same thing.
Good quality, small and lightweight. Easy to carry around and powerful enough to charge laptops.
Bought this as I wanted a smaller alternative to my mac book pro charger whilst I’m travelling. Works great with no issue and meets the main priority of being smaller than the original.
Now my phone charges in a little over half the time of my old charge
I use this to charge my macbook (M1 MBP 14″), laptop (Lenovo T14) and phone (Pixel 4A) in my bedroom. Much better than the original 65W laptop charger which had a huge brick in the middle of the cable.
I think calling this “palm-sized” would undersell it, I could probably hold 3 of these little things in one hand. I’ve brought it with me for travelling this weekend, and I’m considering getting another one just to keep in my rucksack.
Have had it for a couple of months now, and no issues with reliability or compatibility.
Small Size, Big Power: Anker Nano II 65W GaN II PPS Fast Charger
First Impressions:
The Anker Nano II 65W Charger arrived in a compact, well-packaged box. Despite its small size, the charger felt sturdy and well-constructed, giving the immediate impression of a high-quality product.
Usage Experience:
The Anker Nano II charger surpassed my expectations. Despite its compact size, it provided a fast and efficient charge to my MacBook Pro. The GaN II technology really shined, keeping the adapter cool even during high-power charging. I also appreciated its compatibility with USB-C devices, making it a versatile addition to my tech arsenal.
Target Audience:
This charger is ideal for anyone who needs to power up their devices quickly and efficiently, whether it’s a MacBook Pro, iPhone, or any USB-C compatible device. Its compact size makes it perfect for travelers or those with limited outlet space.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Compact size with powerful 65W output
GaN II technology keeps the charger cool during use
Versatile USB-C compatibility
Cons:
As a single-port charger, it can only charge one device at a time.
Longevity:
With its solid build and advanced technology, I expect the Anker Nano II charger to last for a considerable amount of time. It seems built to withstand the rigors of daily use and travel.
Alternatives:
If you need to charge multiple devices at once, consider multi-port chargers like the Anker PowerPort Atom III or the RAVPower PD Pioneer. For lower power needs, the original Anker Nano charger is a more affordable option.
Conclusion:
The Anker Nano II 65W Charger impresses with its small size and powerful output. With GaN II technology and USB-C compatibility, it’s a reliable, efficient, and versatile charger that’s perfect for powering up your devices quickly.
I bought this to replace my included laptop charger. Which didn’t stay into the wall socket very well. So far this has been great.
Fairly compact, but actually quite heavy. Bought it for biketouring, where I need to get a lot of power into my phone when I get to a cafe. I also bought the lower power version and it is much more compact and light for carrying around.
So it’s a good charger, it’s really fast sure. 65W and it doesn’t heat up and doesn’t take up a lot of space in my bag? Sure. Check. Absolutely. Packaging is a little meh but I didn’t buy it for the box
And it would be a flawless 5 star if my laptop didn’t send me unrecognised usb device warnings every few minutes while it’s plugged in. Once my laptop charged up to 100%, leaving it charging with the 65w brick (if you can call it that it’s so small) means that my laptop will make the usb connect sound and/or give me a warning basically telling me that whatever I just plugged in isn’t recognised by windows and could be dangerous.
The fact that it’s making windows send this warning is pretty sketchy and makes me think that it’s either faulty or broken or something. I’m pretty confident in Anker as a brand and this doesn’t seem like a massive issue, but if it gets worse I’ll probably contact support or something
UPDATE: Windows stopped giving me those warnings, but then the charger stopped working completely. Anker support was great though and has sent off for a replacement, very nice person on the live chat too.
Looked to get an uprated charger for a Samsung phone and an Apple i-pad, so far this charger does the job, my only concern is that there are a few reviews saying that this unit fails after a few months, but so far it seems ok will come back at a later date to coment on this, my only other niggle is the location of the outlet socket would have been much better if located on the top of the unit as it sticks out a bit with the cable plugged in the end of the adaptor, not good if te space is confined when using certain sockets outlets
Have seen this recommended in reviews on tech sites for many new handsets including the pixel 7 pro, which I initially bought it for (both the 65w and 30w version of this charger plug get recommended). However I found it just too powerful for that phone, according to accubattery (a free app I can really recommend) the battery heated up during charging considerably more than the recommended 35c max causing the charging wattage to drop due to an inbuilt safety mechanism, and getting towards 80 percent charge the battery voltage level increased into the red zone, which can both put a strain on the battery and shorten its life. Not wanting to waste money on the poorly reviewed and overpriced Google 30W charger which is said to break after a few months by many, I tried with my old Huawei max 40W charger plug that was bundled with my p30 pro instead and that is absolutely fine albeit a lot slower and I have ordered the Belkin 30w charger which is coming in two days and that is reported not to cause overheating or higher than safe voltage levels on the pixel 7 pro. Meanwhile this charger works really well and charges really fast on several other phones and devices we have, without the overheating or excessive voltage issues, including the p30 pro, even though the p30 uses an older fast charging technology.
On my iPad Pro I get about 30W fast charge but on a MacBook Pro I get about 45-48W charge speed (see photos). I bought primarily as a MacBook charger and thought I’d get a similar charge to the original apple charger but it seems not which is disappointing. Could have saved money and bought a smaller charger.
It is the first and only charger I have had that on my Samsung S21 Ultra screen displays super fast charging. All the others I have (and I have collected many over the years) that either say Charging or fast charging. This includes Anker, Aukey and RAV Power fast chargers, also a (top of the range) Spigen 21w type C fast charger ( Spigen is also able to charge Macbooks and Chrome books up to 100w).
That said I do only use it when I need to either get a quick boost or the phone fully charged and time is short, because, I am not overly sure it does the phone battery any favours to constantly charge so quickly. To give a comparison, and it is only a crude test. Charging from my Anker 60w and Aukey 5 port USB wall charger (using one of the two quick charge 3.0 ports with nothing else plugged in) with my phone battery at 48% charge the phone indicates 1hr 18mins to full charge, I get similar results from three, 2 port wall socket fast chargers (I have the most powerful available from Anker, Aukey and Rav power) using the Spigen type C fast charger, my phone battery at 48%, my phone says 54 minutes to fully charged. Using the Anker Nano II with the phone battery again at 48% the phone indicates just 43 minutes until fully charged.
In my test although I plugged in the Anker Nano II first and subsequently another seven chargers after, I only had them each plugged in for a few seconds. I used the Nano II first so the battery had a fraction less power than when plugging in the seventh. I used the Spigen type C charger second and used the same type C lead, I also used the same USB lead for all the USB fast chargers, I did also run two further tests of the USB chargers (where possible on quick charge 3.0) using different leads.
The Anker Nano II does not get overly hot, it is smaller (shorter mainly) than the Spige
Anker is always good at quality – I’ve bought most of my cables and chargers (inc power banks) from them before. Typically they are high quality and a reasonable price – you can always get cheaper but you can always get more expensive!
This is no exception. I bought the 65W version to charge MacBook Pro M1, my iPhone 11 Pro Max and other usb c gadgets. This charges them the fastest out of any charger brick I have had – you’d hope so at 65W though.
Compared to the 20W nano III (which I’m a massive fan of and have 2) this is bulkier – and much much heavier! The bulk isn’t much though considering it’s output – so I’m pleased. It feels like it is one of the highest quality anker products I have felt. It’s weight makes me think that the components are high quality and should last. It has almost a metallic finish on its front – but I can’t tell if it’s real metal.
It’s worth noting for best performance you need to pair this with a usb-c cable that has high throughput too – I found it charges faster with cables specified to take 100W.
Overall, it’s easily put in a bag, can charge everything very fast – feels amazing quality – and may be a bit bulkier and heavier then previous nano products, but forgiven due to its massive output. For the price – worth it, considering an official Apple MacBook charger is 2x larger and 2x pricier!
