Great dash cam with lots of features.
We find these dash cams essential now in our vehicle and will always have one after having a few issues with silly driver’s.
Comes with everything you need to get setup (will need to buy a SD camera separate)
Loop recording is brilliant as when the card gets full it will just overwrite the oldest video.
Picture quality is brilliant, touchscreen works and responds really well and I can say this is the best dash cam we have had so far.
The cockpit camera is a great feature for Uber/taxi drivers as this will record inside the car and record any issues with customers.
I found the setup pretty easy and am really impressed with the camera as a whole.
I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one of these in the future if and when we need one.

Good quality dashcam, definitely more suited for taxi/uber drivers who need internal video recording which I personally think they should all legally have, both for their safety and passengers safety. They also often get quite shocking abuse so this way they’ve got a record of it. Video quality is pretty good and it’s super easy to use, the only slight disappointment was that some of the video files took a while to transfer over WiFi so that could definitely do with speeding up.
My dad kept urging me to use a dash cam and eventually brought me one but I couldn’t work it out at all the instructions just seemed gobble de goop and it ended up on the junk drawer rather than the car.
Well after not really driving that much for the last few years a return to the office means a return to the road and the city. Seems people are even more crazy now and I thought maybe it’s time to invest in a dash cam.
This one was relatively straightforward to set up with clear instructions. Works well and more importantly records clear images.
My only issue is that the memory card wasn’t included especially considering the price.
The WIFI File transfer feature, is also an amazing top feature making transferring LOCKED files, or other video recorded so much easier, very easy and user friendly. I would highly recommend this to others, I love the fact, that you can connect to your phone through the camera via the vantrue cam app and stream videos directly on your phone, you can delete files on the dashcam. It’s just amazing and make my life so much easier.
I drive a PCO London Taxi and as an individual I drive daily and I have seen all the things I could possibly have seen on the road, people trying to cause accidents deliberately just to get an insurance claim , or people driving dangerously just to hit you and claim against your insurance. That’s where this 3 Channel Vantrue dashcam comes into place – it helps you stay safe on the road, and keep a log of all your days journeys and give you peace of mind that you are covered in the worst case of an (un avoidable accident). If needed, in the worst case scenario, you just press the power button once, and it locks all the clips from all three cameras into place. It’s wonderful because the in-cabin camera, not only records the inside, but it also records the driver side and passenger side windows and it also shows a bit of the rear of the car too. So it covers the front, inside and rear of the car, making this the best camera to keep you safe on the road.
The touch screen is on a whole new level very vivid bright colours, it’s so easy to navigate between the menus, it’s user friendly and you can easily access all media without a fuss, the menus options are very well laid out and organised into categories. It’s overall and amazing compact camera and is a very simple and straight forward dashcam for reversing by using the reverse camera, obviously you shouldn’t only rely on the the reverse camera, but it helps you navigate out of difficult spaces.
You have the options to set the date and time, the way you want to in different formats, such as MM/DD/YYYY or vice versa, you can even addd your vehicle reg to the camera – so when the clips are record, you license plate is also displayed on the video which is very helpful to have during insurance claims. the quality is unbelievably amazing, license plates numbers can be easily read in the dark of night using it’s night vision, and during the day, the images quality is crisp and clear 4K footage, recording the format at 1440p HDR Front – In cabin 1080p and rear 1080p. It’s just amazing quality footage. Sounds quality recorded is also crisp and clean.
The camera is heat-resistant, so you don’t need to worry about weather conditions, it will work fine, in both winter and hot weather. It’s got an 18 months warranty, in case any issues develop, manufacturing related, you can easily use the warranty.
Front camera records 160 degrees angle and in cabin records 165 degree angle and rear viewing angle is also recordings are 160 degree angels.
One thing that you need to know, is the cameras for the front and the back are stuck on using 3M double sided tape, that one thing I don’t like at all, as it’s a bit difficult to move the dash cam from one car to another without having to peel of the tape every time. Previous Vantrue cameras I had, had the mounting suction bracket which made it easy to position the Dashcam anywhere in the car. I wish Vantue, could have just kept the old (dash mount) holder, making it easier to move and adjust the camera if required later. That’s the only one things I dislike about this camera, as when I was in the process of fitting the dashcam to the car, I tried to centre the camera, but was unable to position it correctly and than I had to take it off the windshield and put the xtra 3m tape that I got with the box to fit again, so I had two attempts to fit it. I think, that’s the only thing that I dislike about the camera, Not happy with the 3M sticky pad.
I also like the fact that the G- sensor technology on the camera works very well, I have set it, to the very sensitive level, and in the case of an accident, the camera uses sensor technology to automatically lock the clips into place, if the camera detects sudden impact of force.
The other great thing about this 3 channel camera is that 20 feet cable is provided to enable you to easily run the cabling front he front of the car to the rear of the car without having to worry that you will run out of cable. So it’s very long enough to run the cable through the car interior panels.
You also get a toll with the Dashcam to feed the cabling into the car panels, which I found was very useful, as I’ve just brought a brand new car, and the trims panels and interior tool allowed me to pull or create a gap between the interior panelling to fit the cable in more easily.
I’d highly recommend this ti my friends and family. I have recommended this to my friends who dont’ have dash cams in their cars, and several of my friends have brought it. Fitting the camera in the car is really simple and easy, and doesn’t take long at all. Took me about 45 minutes as I wanted to make it seem as it was professionally fitted =)
The other thing I love about this camera, is that it records in 4k, and it has a maximum capacity of 512GB for storage, so I have bought 512GB Micro – SD card and I have noticed that it stores about weeks worth of footage which for me as London PCO Taxi Driver is very useful.
Lastly, I love the facet, there is automatic screen shut off feature, so the bright vivid lights of the dashcam don’t bother you when driving at night.
Overall, amazing product. Highly recommended!

This dash cam is one of the best dash cams I’ve ever used. The video quality on this is outstanding. You can record in up to 4K and you can also choose what quality you’d like to record. So you can record in lower quality if you like so that your memory doesn’t run out too quickly. Even when it does run out, a nice feature is that it just continues recording and re-writes old footage so you don’t have to keep on emptying out the SD card. If there’s important footage you need to keep you can enable a lock feature which makes sure it doesn’t over-write that footage. I really like how everything is touch screen – it makes navigating and using the interface in general so much easier. Another really cool feature is the WiFi feature. You can seamlessly transfer video footage from your dashcam to you mobile phone using the vantrue cam app which is really convenient as it saves you the hassle of having to take out the SD card whenever needed.
So like I said, this is a wonderful dashcam, very user friendly and definately recommended to anyone looking to buy one!
The only little problem is I have to be 2 metre distance away to connect to my phone , other wise it’s an amazing gadge
The video and camera quality was very good. Also the sound was very clear with not a lot of background noise. The application was easy to navigate through.

This is a brand I’ve heard of so I was keen to try this out.
I have had other brands in the past and a couple of these have been great and in a similar price range.
This is an upgrade for me as it includes a rear camera. Previously I’ve had a camera with an internal camera only. (Obviously also the front camera!)
After testing this I’m really happy overall and I haven’t got much to add in terms of information, as there is a lot of information already in the listing and you get good guidance in the instructions. It’s also pretty initiative and easy to set up. (There’s more online too.)
The one thing I will add is that I found it a lot easier to get a professional to fit this for me. Most dealerships can do this as can Halfords. It just means the wires are all hidden and although I could’ve done it, they save me a lot of time and stress.
It’s something that I feel much more confident having in my car so if you’re looking for a camera and you don’t already have a rear camera, then I would definitely look at this or upgrade your existing camera to include the rear.
It definitely sets my mind at rest as most accidents will probably likely happen involving somebody hitting into you if you’re an experienced driver. (Stats show that this is most likely from behind)
This dashcam is a very good option to record everything in and out of the car. The video picture quality is very good day or night. The touch screen works perfect and with the smartphone app becomes very easy to set it up. The pack has everything ready with instructions in several languages and very easy to follow even for a non technical person.

BUY WITH CONFIDENCE – this new camera is packed with so many great features, I’ve been buying Vantrue cameras for so many years now and this is by far the best DashCam I have bought which covers all 3 angles of the car making it easy to provide insurance companies footage incase of an accident. I drive a Taxi daily, so it’s very important that I have a coverage from all three sides. The Quality of the footage, is remarkably amazing, it’s so CRISP and CRYSTAL CLEAR you’ll be glad you bought one. You have the option of recording at the highest resolution, you can record at full 4K, 1440 Front Camera + 1080p In Cabin +1080p Rear Camera at 30fps (HDR) which is highest quality recording format. It’ shoots on a range of different formats which can be changed in-the ‘in-camera record settings, so you can easily personalise the camera to your own preference. I also have a 512GB MicroSD Card, so I can keep many days of footage recorded on the DashCam incase I needed to go back to an event on a specific day. For recording at 4K FULL HD, you will need to have a larger MicroSd Card and I think it’s usually better to have a larger card, so you can keep several days worth of footage. The quality is just mind-blowing, it’s just incredibly amazing, I was astonished to see the quality of the footage when I first recorded it after setting up the camera in my car. It’s so much better than my old camera.
I drive as Taxi, so having several days worth of footage is a must for me. The DashCams worry every penny, I would highly recommend this DashCam to anyone, it is by far, the best camera I have bought til date.
Another thing I love about this camera, is you can change the viewing options on the Front Camera screen, so it shows you either, front, in cabin and rear cameras all on one screen, or you can choose to display only the front camera, only the in cabin camera, or only the rear camera. I have the camera set to displaying the front, in cabin and rear cameras at it keeps my mind at peace, that all 3 camera channels are recording.
The Camera comes with a 20FT long cable, which you can easily run the cabling from the front of the car to the back rear without having to worry. It was fairly easy to run all the cabling to the back of the car. It also comes with two sticky pads, of 3M double sided tape, so I found that very useful as when I was placing the rear camera onto the rear of the car, it wasn’t sticking properly as at the cabling was in a bent position, so I straighten the cable out, and than re-used the new extra tape provided with the camera, and as you can see in the images provided, I was able to make the camera sit on perfectly and is 100% straight.
Dashcam are a very important tool to have whilst driving, the relief the stress and tension for drivers, and it makes your life so much easier, incase you have an accident. The touch screen makes the whole user experience so simple and easy, you can easily move between the front, rear and in cabin displays, you can easily access the media, not to mention one of the most amazing things I love about this camera is the WIFI function, where you can easily view and transfer footage directly from your camera to your phone using the Vantrue Cam app. It’s just like at another new level. It’s wonderful, I don’t have to keep moving the card in and out, it’s just so simple and easy to use. It’s very user friendly, overall I have rated this 5 stars, and I love everything about this camera.
It’s the best camera I have used in my life – but I wish the camera had a mounting bracket to the windscreen and was not a 3M sticky pad.
The only one thing I don’t like about this Camera is that it doesn’t have a mounting bracket, for the front and rear dash cameras, you have to stick it on the windscreen glass using 3M double sided sticky tape which is mounted on to the camera when you take it out of the box. I don’t like this personally, as I tend to change my cars very often every 6 to 12 months, and once it’s fitted to the car, it’s not easily removable to move from one car to the other, its more of a permanent fixture, so this is something that Vantrue can focus on improving in future. Most of old Vantrue cameras had mounting brackets, making it easier to remove from my car whenever needed.
The package and the built quality of this product feels very premium. Installation was incredibly easy, as the manual was straightforward. The amount of accessories included were more than enough for me to set it up in any configuration that I wanted.
The touch screen is very responsive and feels like a high end cell phone screen and the GPS system provides a perfect record of the location, direction and speed of the vehicle, so that’s nice.
The app is pretty easy to use as well. So far no issues or complaints. Been using it about a month now and enjoy having it. Night visions is fine as far as I can tell. Picture quality is pretty good as well. Overall does what it says and what I expect so I’m satisfied.
Edit: Vantrue customer services were easy to contact and suggested updating the firmware. Now it mostly works as it should although the screen still jumps about and freezes more than I’d like. The WiFi and app work well now and the data cable issue was operator error – it didn’t occur to me that you should plug it into the rear cam port rather than the power port. This makes more sense now that it’s installed in the car, since the power port is on the GPS bit that stays stuck to the windscreen. The recording quality of both video and audio is very good. My only remaining issue (hence 4 stars not 5) is the touch screen skipping about and freezing. Although I don’t use it much, when I do need to this is very annoying!

I had really high hopes for this dash cam but so far I have had nothing but trouble. I bought a memory card to the exact spec required (U3 C10 A2 256GB) and formatted it as per the instructions, so that should not be the problem.
The screen often becomes unresponsive or the menu starts jumping around where I’m not touching it. Only way to resolve is to turn off and on again.
The USB “data” cable does not seem to be a data cable at all. Upon connection to the computer the dash cam powers up and starts recording like it would in the car, and the computer (windows 10) doesn’t recognise it at all.
After connecting to the VanTrue wifi and clicking “add device” on the app, it jumps to the wifi settings, where I can see it is connected to the VanTrue WiFi. When I click back, I get the message (see picture), “The selected model is not compatible with the connected wifi”.
I will be contacting the seller or VanTrue for help as I can only think I must have got a defective model. Very frustrating.
I received the 3-channel cam set which includes a rear camera.
The dash cam and cabin cam are situated under the display screen. The camera mount is attached to the windshield with an adhesive pad (which is supplied – with a spare) rather than a suction mount. The camera slots onto the mount which makes it easy to remove (which is great if you don’t want your car being burgled for the camera itself).
With the camera mounted, the cabin camera is on the right and the road cam is on the left. It seems that this layout was intended for the US market, as the instructions show the driver seat on the left hand side of the car. It recommends mounting it behind the rear-view mirror, but it would need to be mounted on the passenger’s side for the cabin cam to be centered, and then the display is obscured by the mirror from the drivers’ seat which makes it difficult to use it for monitoring the rear cam whilst parking (one of the great benefits of having a rear camera).
I got around this by simply placing it under the middle of the mirror – which isn’t ideal, but it makes it easier to see the screen and the cameras are both pretty centered.
Other than the camera positioning, I have absolutely no complaints about this camera, it has an excellent display and the video footage is high-quality, very easy to see details like licence plates and signs; the WiFi feature makes it super easy to connect to for viewing footage; it has impact-lock features for automatically storing crash footage in a separate folder so it won’t get overwritten; it has parking protection, to monitor for impact or motion; the GPS location data is embedded to the video so you can log exactly where an incident occurred. It is very user-friendly and the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow for set-up and care of the camera.
Included in the box, there is also a 11.5ft car charger cable; a 20ft cable for linking up the rear camera; spare adhesive stickers for both the front and rear cameras; a scraper for removing the stickers; 2 ‘protected by Vantrue’ bumper stickers; and 2 screen protectors for the touchscreen display.

After having a older dashcam that had to have a seperate gps mount that took up more windscreen space that made it look messy, I had trialled the Vantrue M2 mirror dashcam that was amazing but with the camera on the mirror the windscreen mount for rain and traffic sign sensors part of the field of view was blacked out. So I went for it and purchased this 3 channel dashcam that for a small body has a decent set of 2 cameras on the body, normal forward facing and a cabin one as well and neatly wired connection to the rear camera.
Why you ask would I need a cabin camera? As I found out when I had a previous accident that having one in the cabin would record what happens to the driver and passengers to an insurance company and drs how you were injured. So easy to show and prove so the other sides insurance company when they try to minimise their pay out. Not only that but when hard wired in to the car or to a set of battery packs like mine, you can have it record anything that happens during the day and infrared leds provide night vision of anyone if they break in.
Because of the wiring and the small body this camera sits right up against the headliner of the roof and makes it harder to see from both outside and in the cabin. So could catch anyone breaking in or damaging the car giving you proof and hopefully the face of them as well day or night. As well being wide angled the cabin camera can record what happens beside the car each side through the windows.
Its not 4k resolution but its still a very good image that easily picks up people and number plates if you get a hit and run as I had. You can choose different recording modes when parked up when hard wired in, you choose between, time lapse, low resolution or as I do have it full resolution. You can also choose how you want the camera to save important recordings either while driving, using motion activated if somebody gets too close, impact picked up by the g-sensors.
The only thing I hope they do in future Vantrue models is to have cloud linked recordings so take any impacts, accidents or break in and everything that’s recorded automatically uploads to a server. That way even if the camera is damaged, broken into or stolen you would have saved important recordings.
All in all a cracking piece of kit for peace of mind its well worth the cost, while driving, parked up and hit or vandalism and being broken into.
Overall I am very happy with this latest release from Vantrue. It’s not the first Vantrue that I have so I couldn’t be wrong when purchased it even if I had some problems connecting to wifi,but after the latest update offered by the support team everything is perfect.
This dashcam has 3 channels which make it easy to record in front,inside and behind the vehicle.
Installation doesn’t require more than little skills and the instructions were pretty accurate.
It has a very big angle and the lens are amazing with a resolution comparable with a 4K camera. The touch screen is also an excellent feature with lots of different options to choose from and the wifi connection makes it easy to download any footage in just seconds with no need to use a computer. Day and night the image quality is brilliant.
For me no complaints at all and strongly recommend it. Thanks again Vantrue for the amazing experience.
A great dash cam, very good value, it has wifi and gps, it has camera for front and inside car, it comes with night vison and it is touch screen, i think this is a really good dash cam with everything to keep you safe and protected on the road if anything occured youve got it on camera and you can stall all the date to your phone and keep in a seperate file and has parking assist.
I am absolutely delighted with this dash cam, which has the ability to record the road ahead, behind and inside the car too. It literally has everything covered. The picture quality is excellent and the touch screen features no problem at all.
I really like how it looks after the car when we aren’t there too. There is a choice of the cameras picking up any activity near the car or for they will stay dormant unless the car is bumped into, then it records.
It is definitely security worth having. This is the one that has you covered whether you are in the car or not. Very impressed.
This dash camera comes with clear instructions which makes it very easy to put in the car. I was amazed with the picture quality this dash camera offers. This dash camera doesn’t comes with any memory card. So, you have to get that separately. Other than that it has everything you will need to set it up. I connected it with my mobile. And it automatically updates all my videos. And the cool thing is that I don’t have to remove the memory card and copy paste the data. It automatically updates the videos, and I can just see it with my mobile app. I found it very useful when it comes to safety and my car insurance.
Best dash cam I’ve ever owned. I think this is the first ever 3ch dashcam which has touchscreen and wifi file transfer. Really easy to use. The phone application is good as well, you can see the recorded video and a map on the same screen. Video quality is perfect, registrations can be read easily. Interior cam surprisingly good quality and wide angle of view. It can see also what’s happening next to the car through the side windows. Useful on motorway… back cam is only full HD but still really good quality.
Quick and easy to set up and attach to the window – though the cable is thicker than my previous dash cam so not as easy to tuck in.
Images are clear and videos are good quality. The app allows you to view and save videos without having to remove the memory card. Does need reconnected to the wifi each time you do this but it’s quick enough to do.

a dash cam Image resolution is very clear, I have a front dual inside the car and outside, I don’t use the back cam yet but I believe will be high-quality as well I’m using the 1080P and it is still great, as you see in the pictures night image is great as day image, it’s very clear, I’m so happy with it and I recommend it, very highly.
