Vault X ® Sideloaders – 9-Pocket A4 Trading Card Binder
Vault X ® Sideloaders – 9-Pocket A4 Trading Card Binder Pages Storage Wallet – Side Loading Pockets for TCG (50 Pack) (Premium)
PVC Free
Using PVC binders to store your cards is a big mistake. Flexible PVC contains volatile plasticizers and emits acid when it deteriorates, lifting inks from your cards and destroying their value. Our pages are made from archival-safe, acid-free non-PVC material which will keep your cards in pristine condition.

You pay for what you get. Vault X produce the very best card storage products.
They really are just thick plastic wallets with an extra bit of glue. there is no need for them to cost this much at all.
This product is of a very high quality and is just perfect to hold my D&D spell cards. So if you are making your own character folio or journal and you need a sturdy and stylish way to protect those spells cards I highly recommend this. Also I reached out to Vault X for some further support and they were beyond helpful with my enquiry and so I can confidently recommend both the product and the brand!
I paint miniatures, all game card size, these folders are perfect for storage, as new category expassion pages can be added at will, unlike prebuilt folders, the sleeves are as good quality as the ones in the prebuilt UltraPro Binders
Thanks to Vault-x I can continue storing cards that are sleeved in the oversized FFG grey sleeves or in Ultra Pro penny sleeves.
I store cards from Arkham LCG, LOTR LCG, and magic the gathering in an UP penny sleeves and then in a “Sideloader – 9-Pocket (doubled sided 18) A4 Trading Card Binder Page”. For Arkham LCG I put 2 player cards in a UG penny sleeve and the investigators I put in an FFG grey sleeve and then in a binder page. For LOTR LCG I put three player cards in a UP penny sleeve and the hero’s in a FFG sleeve, then these go in a binder page. For MTG all rares and mythics are sleeved with a tight-fit UP sleeve and then stored in a penny sleeve in a binder pocket.
Storing cards in a penny sleeve and then in a pocket of a binder page keeps the card in the pocket because the penny sleeves keep the cards from sliding partly out.
Until now (end of 2021/early 2022) I was using Ultimate Guard 18 pocket side loading pages for this. Then Ultimate guard (probably somewhere 2020/2021) decided to shorten their pages by almost 1 cm. After that size change the UG pages no longer fit Ultra Pro Penny or FFG grey sleeves.
Why UG would shorten their pages by almost 1 cm beats me. It is inconsistent, it also looks ugly having a mix of two sizes pages in a binder, not to mention that this also means that when you stand your binders up straight, the weight of the pages is on the longer binder pages because those stick out at the bottom about 0.5 cm and I assume there is a risk of the cards in the bottom row of the pages folding a bit. Bottom line to change the size of a succesful product to me sounds like a pretty stupid move from UG.
Note that even cards in Dragon shields sleeves no longer fit easily in the new sized UG pages, in particular in the middle row of the new UG pages, which is the smallest of the three rows.
I included a picture with a Vault-x page on the bottom, old size UG purple page in the middle and new size UG page on top. The difference between the new and old UG page is almost 1 cm. The old UG purple page is (almost) exactly the same size as the Vault X page.
Last year when I found out that UG had changed the size of their 18 pocket pages because I bought a new batch with the smalle size. I returned all of them and I went looking for alternatives. First I tried the Gamegenic 18 pocket pages, thinking since this is the brand that replaced the original FFG sleeves their pages would fit FFG sleeves. But the Gamegenic pages were also smaller then the original UG binder pages. This is probably because the gamegenic Gray sleeves that replaced FFG grey sleeves are also shorter (about 2-3 mms) then the original FFG grey sleeves.
Then I searched for information “which side loading binder pocket pages would fit FFG grey sleeves”. I found, based on stories of others that ran into the same joke from UG, that Dragon Shield and Ultra Pro pages didn’t fit UP penny sleeves either (weird that UP pages don’t fit their own UP penny sleeves).
I also noticed that most brands do not include the exact size of the pages or the pocket size in their product descriptions. What use to me is the size of the box they come in, to me ? Really annoying having to go buy, try and return a product.
Luckily I also found the Vault-X pages based on this search. The Vault-X pages are almost exactly the same size as the original UG pages. The Vault-X pages do fit FFG grey and UP penny sleeves in all three rows with a little wiggle room.
If at all I was to have one comment about the Vault-X pages is that they should make all three rows exactly the same height. The bottom row is the largest and the middle row the shortest. The difference is a bit over 1 mm and the middle row is the tightest fit as a result. So for consistency purposes Vault-X should really consider moving about 0.5 mm from the bottom to the middle row. But regardless of that all three rows do today fit FFG grey sleeves and UP penny sleeves.
The Vault-X 50 pages packs each came in a plastic bag inside an Amazon paper envelope. I ordered four 50 page packs and received for separate packages from Amazon (in one same delivery moment). Weird but maybe this is cheaper because it didn’t have to come in a box ?
I am in the Netherlands but ordered from Amazon.co.Uk because the Vault X pages where not available locally and amazon.de or amazon.fr either didn’t have them or they were not in stock.
Durability I don’t know yet but they feel and look and feel good.
Value for money is good. Cost wise the Vault-X pages were better then the UG ones. I bought 4 packs of 50 pages for roughly 68 and 5 delivery (roughly 88 Euro). This was including VAT and not sure why but I did not have to pay any additional import fees (which would still have been fine ).
Sturdiness is good, they have a similar sturdiness as the old UG pages.
I bought these to replace my Ultra Pro top loading sheets as I prefer side loading my cards. These are perfect for Pokmon TCG and fits well with deck sleeves too. Will probably buy more to organise my binders better.
I spent ages looking for the perfect binder and card loader pages for my Pokemon collection and after alot of procrastination (and my toddler nearly destroying my cards) I finally purchased a binder (highly recommended the Ultra Pro UPRRPJ8-2 Album Card Collector) and card loader pages to protect and conserve my cards.
Of course with Amazon if you want something it’ll arrive the next day and it did with both items.
The pages look rich and classy and really gives a prestigious feel to your prized cards. The pages are sturdy with pockets on both sides of the page, so one page holds 18 cards.
The folder is firm with a nice leather feel to it. Nothing too fancy, perfect and simple.
So if you want to protect your cards and keep them safe buy these products and you won’t regret it!
The quality of the pages is amazing, however i recieved one page with a small rip on the bottom and many pages had creases in the pockets. Otherwise im very happy with the product!
Expensive for what you get (50 double sided sheets) but the quality is very good and they look much smarter than the standard transparent folders. They are holding up extremely well in the folder with daily use and will survive lots of use before (if?) they ever need replacing.
One negative besides cost: the packaging was rubbish. They came “wrapped” in one thin piece of unsealed plastic. When I opened the envelope they ALL fell out – thankfully no damage.
Overall very impressed but be careful opening them when they arrive!
For a while I’d been looking for a replacement for the Ultimate Guard 18 pocket side loaders. Unfortunately, the sheets had changed and the pockets had become noticeably smaller with inconsistent sizes (like their coloured sheets) – the product no longer matched, so sleeved cards using the larger sleeves (DragonShield, old FFG) no longer fit. For someone trying to keep consistent binders, this was a disaster. Their customer service tried to help, but at the end of the day they just didn’t seem to be manufacturing to the same dimensions any more.
Well, after some false starts I ordered the VaultX. The quality and feel is easily at least equivalent, and dimensions almost identical to the old larger Ultimate Guard with its generous pocket size, and with a slightly longer edge giving more standoff from the binder rings. I’m very happy. Old FFG sleeved cards fit. DragonShield sleeves fit. You can even get 3-4 sleeved cards in one pocket (although I guess that might make the pocket loose, so not recommended if you’re swapping cards out and using it for transport)
One difference is that the middle pocket opening is outward, not inward. There are pros (easier access) and cons (greater anxiety about which cards able to fall out) to this — not that I’ve ever seen any come free.
Two minor complaints may be the size of the order, I’d have preferred to have been able to order them in smaller amounts; and that one sheet had scoring on one pocket front it where it looks like the plastic had folded upon itself inside the pack, but those would be the only criticisms. All in all, an excellent product.
The pockets are a little tighter than those in the vault x binders if you intend to use with soft sleeves. They provide great protection but consider that the secure fit means patience is required if you plan to use these for bigger collections.
Great pages, we’re using them store our Pokmon and Yu-Gi-Oh collections. The pockets are big enough to hold penny sleeved, ultra pro sleeved, and even playsets all without the cards moving out of place when turning the pages. Will definitely be buying more as our collection grows.
Both the Binder Pages and the customer service is excellent. I have already ordered a second set based on the quality and after receving a very nice email from the owner, Gary.
Highly recomebed!
I use these to store my pokemon card collections, and not only are they perfect for storing and protecting the cards but they are a perfect fit for ultra pro card sleeves to protect the rarer cards
Fantastic Product, they simply are the only product you should be storing collectable Cards in!
Quality and value for money, with side loading your cards will never get damaged or dusty again !!
Will be buying more
These were absolutely perfect. I saw previous reviews that pockets were ripped, however I did not experience thst in the 100 I bought. However, I do agree with the review that the package could be better. 50 sleeves inside a piece of plastic film with no top or bottom meaning they could escape from either side. The black makes your cards stand out as a collection more. Willl be purchasing again in the coming weeks.
I brought these because I prefer the black wallets because it makes the cards ink pop with the black background. And I also wanted side-loading wallets since they don’t fall out. In addition to that, these wallets have slightly larger pockets than ultimate guard and ultra pro clear top loading wallets; ultimate guard’s black side-loading wallets which can make it difficult to fit double sleeved cards using standard size pennie sleeves.
Comparing them to ultimate guard I definitely can feel a weight difference just holding them and the plastic is much thicker. I’m definitely switching from ultimate guard to these.
Sideloaders have a nice look to them and immediately feel sturdy, thicker and better quality compared to other, perhaps cheaper card protection i have bought. I use them for yugioh cards and there is lots of spare space so i would say bigger cards will easily fit. They fit in my binder well and seem to be designed to fit in a variety of different binders. I am very pleased.
Excellent for storing my pokemon card collection, the side loading is fast to insert and exit cards kept in protectors, thus stop dust getting in from all sides. They are easy to use and flick through any collection you might have. Also a great price for 50, as other places are ripping us off at only 10 or 15 for 15! Love the black colour, makes the cards pop even more, everything looks so professional I love them!
I was amazed by the quality of these. The side loading is great, the cards fit nice, the black mesh between the cards for double-backing, it feels robust and better than the cheaper options.
I had a problem with a few sleeves with my first pack/order, but the customer/company support has been AMAZING. They are a fairly small team and their customer care was quick and authentic. They really seem to care about their products and offering a great service. I highly recommend them!
Product was exactly as advertised and was actually alot chunkier than I expected to get. And could hold up to 6 cards in one sleeve (using this for xwing so had duplicates of cards stacked together) with no impact on reverse side.
It feels like very good quality and the pockets are not as shiny as some other MTG-dedicated pocket folders.
Black background also looks great with MTG cards as the black rim just fades into the page.
Will probably buy again.
Before I ordered Vault X card pages I bought Blackfire, with the latter having a smaller page size. Thus cards with bigger card sleeves have to be cropped into the pages.
These pages are of similar quality from what I can tell so far except they’re just bigger. So read the sizes first for whatever suits you more and before mixing other brands with these ones (like I did expecting they all look the same).
If I had known earlier, I’d have bought Vault X pages only instead of going for Blackfire first as they were more expensive and also smaller.
I like that I can store a card set any size with these sideloading pages, you are not restricted to 90/360/480 spaces as with a pre-bound card binder.
I personally double sleeve cards in kmc perfect size inner sleeves then with elite trainer box sleeves, and they fit nicely inside these sideloading binder pages.
Amazing and well worth the investment to protect your cards, although much more expensive than the competition.
I have been using UltraPro pockets for years, but this is now the 2nd set of these VaultX sideloaders I have bought and I have transferred all of my cards into them (+ other VaultX binders).
I have found that the cards + sleeves stick out very slightly from the top of UltraPro pockets and can get dust/mess into them, the benefit of the VaultX sideloaders is that they prevent this. These can also be filled from both front and back and have a thin soft protection layer in the middle.
I’m new to LCG / TCG / CCGs, being a recent convert to Arkham Horror LCG. Having looked at storage boxes I decided to try these instead to house my player cards. Very impressed. This will make my life so much easier when trying to choose cards to build decks.
The only thing I would prefer is if these were bundled inside a cardboard box. Instead they come wrapped in resealable cellophane, which isn’t going to last long. Not overly difficult to find a box or spare binder to keep them in, but perhaps worth noting.
Vault X produces the best products for card storage bar none. I’ve replaced all of the Ultra Pro pages with these Vault X Sideload pages for my MTG cards and cannot recommend them enough. No more cards falling out and potentially getting damaged from toploading pages. The cards are held in place well, with just enough room for a card sleeve to fit nicely. The black pages look fantastic, are great quality and i’ll never use anything else as long as they’re available.
Bit more expensive than the others available, but absolutely worth it. Great product.
And Vault X, if you read this, any chance you could add some decent quality 3 ring binders to your line?
I used these to store my X-wing upgrade cards, I just put them into a normal binder. Very useful as I can move individual pages around and sort upgrades by type. nothing has fallen out and they seem to be pretty durable. no real drawbacks that I can see. A cheaper option than many of the alternatives, if you have a binder line up to store your cards in.
very pleased with these wallets, sturdy and secure, will keep your cards safe but also allows you to reorganise your cards without struggling to remove them like some other folders i’ve used.
highly recommended, will be buying these again!
I’ve been buying things for MtG cards recently, and these Vault X products seem very suitable for the job, very durable feel, doesn’t look or feel cheap though. Would definitely buy from again.
Generally pretty good quality. The fact that they’re side-loading is nice as makes it much easier to add or remove cards and i think having the black backing just makes the presentation of the cards themselves a lot more visually pleasing. I did have a problem with a few of the sleeves which appear to have not been properly sealed on the ends, obviously i’m not going to be able to put cards in them because they’ll just fall out which is a little disappointing
I bought these two packs of loose sleeves for my X-Wing cards.
The conversion packs gave me a huge amount of cards, and filling up two Ultimate Guard Flex-Folio’s was never going to be a struggle.
I’ve had loose sleeves from Ultimate guard as well in the past and honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference between them.
Now that’s a good thing as the Ultimate Guard stuff is very good, but as we all know commands a premium.
There’s a good couple of mm around each card so I’d imagine that with a plastic sleeve on each card you should still be able to get them into the pockets, and where I have lots of card duplicated I’ve been able to get six or seven cards into a pocket quite happily.
I’d definitely buy another pack as my collection grows, I prefer the loose sleeves to the folios as I have flexibility to move stuff around and re-organise and I only have to worry about a page rather than moving everything in the folio to accommodate.
Overall, I really don’t have any complaints and for the price why wouldn’t you give them a go.
I had been using the cheapest pages I could find, and these are so much better. The feel and quality are definitely there, but they’re also much better thought out. While it can be a real chore just getting your cards into cheap pages, and they actually often work out more expensive since you can only fit one card to a pocket. These comfortably and easily hold a full playset of (single) sleeved MTG cards in each pocket.
