Made this purchase as I was fed up with the tantrum of when the batteries died. What a transformation this has been. Practical and sleek storage of controller. He always knows where it is once I’ve put it away! Oh and charging, so never runs out!

My son’s charging port stopped working so needed a new one quick. This is great value for money as you also get two battery packs included. Very easy to set up

I play on my Xbox on a daily basis and I have had no issues or drop in quality since buying this in 2023.

its reliable and sturdy and a must for anyone who owns an Xbox in my opinion.

Loved all the different colours you could choose. Bought three different colours for grandchildren. Battery charge is brilliant and they never have to wait for them to charge. Definitely recommend them. Price was reasonable as well. Quality is excellent.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs I had a new Xbox X for Christmas I didn’t realise my current battery station and packs were not compatible so this was an obvious choice as my last ones were made by Venom. The station plugs straight into the console and looks very nice, as if it was included with the console, very sleek. The battery pack clicks into the controller with an additional cover to allow the contacts when placed onto the docking station. Fast charge and once fully charged the light changes from red to green. Great battery life. Well recommended

Saves you wasting hundreds of AA batteries on controllers and gives it a nice stand at the same time. The usb out is helpful as I use it to plug in my ps4 controller dock. Would reccomend.

Arrived quickly, doesn’t take up much space, easy set up, and literally just place your controller on top overnight and the battery lasts all day (even if you’re using it all day).

    Good price too.

It’s kinda bulky but it is nice.

    Couple things need improvement:

    – The rubber feet do not stick well on the table and it does move around easily if you bump it while taking on and off the controllers.
    – the charging indicator light is not solid all the times , there are instances I caught it half lit (green and red) , and it makes you unsure if the controller is charged.

The box comes with 4 battery covers 2 for the series S and 2 for the older ones in white colour , that’s good.

The batteries last quite long !

Bought the black single charger model for my xbox series S 1TB.

Rather than plugging it into the xbox, I plugged it into an old usb phone charger which is powered from a switched extension lead which also powers the TV’s old sound system. When I turn off the sound system, the Venom charger is turned off too.

Only minor observation is there is a knack to putting the gamepad controller into the cradle. Otherwise, the spring loaded electrical contacts don’t make proper connection.

Too early to comment on the life expectancy of the nimh battery pack. Hopefully it will last upto 2 years.

Perfect! Comes with a rope green and black long charging cable that you can use to plug into the device and the Xbox to charge up (mines an Xbox series S). The rechargeable batteries (x2) replaces the normal batteries in the controllers. Indicators show when it’s charging, or fully charged. When one controller gets low, I swap it with the other one. Also comes with battery covers. No complaints!

5.0 out of 5 stars No more having to charge batteries or use a charging cable to the controlle

I really needed something to use with the controllers with a rechargeable battery. This is relatively cheap from a trusted brand and really easy to setup and use. The only slightly tricky thing is you have to store the controllers in exactly the right position for it to recognise it but that is just so the connector line up. It will always go in within 2 tries and you can instantly see whe Ln it does as the leds light up red when charging and green when fully charged. Excellent and easy to use.

Does what it should, just don’t like how I can’t charge the 2nd battery when not in use, have to have 2 controllers if you want to charge both or charge 1 and use 1

Usually I play video games most of the day from up to 3-12 hours a day and this is the case especially this summer. Buying batteries stand alone is expensive and choosing to buy this twin dock charging set for rechargeable Xbox batteries has helped me a lot.

It allows me to recharge my batteries up to 100% the next day and carry on as usual. It offers ease of transition between the two batteries and also is effective in reducing the amount you spend and allows me to play games a lot.

The only fault I would say is that sometimes the placement onto the dock can be a bit off but it takes taking it off then back on again to get it right.
Overall a really reliable product and would definitely recommend to others.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!!

As someone who keeps putting controller everywhere, it’s nice to finally have a “home” for a controller to sit & its always charged to boot.

The battery pack was a little tight to install but it works with my series x controller no problem & I wish the dock had a little more weight to it as it moves around the TV stand with ease.

Quality seems fine & they charge the controllers fairly quickly. Do remember this item comes with new back battery covers & at first we thought they did not fit but soon realised hidden within the packaging they include 2 sets of back plates – obviously dependant on which xbox controller model you have.
Time will tell how long this item continues to work but does the job fine, well worth the purchase especially as they were reduced at great price.

I bought this a month or two ago for my two children who are certified xbox addicts. It charges relatively well, connecting via a USB connection to the back of the xbox. It would be good if this could be fed from a USB-C adapted mains socket (it’s USB-C at the back of the charging unit) as this could likely lead to faster charging.

The main downside I’ve seen is that the supplied covers don’t fit the original Xbox One controllers very well, whilst the Xbox One S fits fine. We’ve already gone through two covers as the little plastic tabs keep breaking off. Annoyingly, the controller doesn’t seem to want to charge on the dock without the cover in place.

All in all, not bad for the price, but could do with being a little more robust.

Easy to set up, works fine. You just need to insert the rechargeable battery into your controller, and fit the appropriate plastic cover (included). Then the controller sits nicely in the dock and charges. My only slight complaint is that once charged, the light stays green constantly (rather than switch off), but thankfully the light isn’t bright enough to be annoying.

One thing to note which I didn’t see anyone else mention, is the handy additional USB-A charge port on the back of the dock. This can ONLY be used to provide power for USB-A devices – you cannot connect the dock to your PC and then expect to use the additional USB-A port on the back for data transfer purposes (such as a USB stick). Useful though if you just want to charge your phone (or whatever else).
