Great stand for the Xbox Series X console. It lights up the console from the bottom. The various light colours are great. You can have them set on a static or pulsing light of one colour or on a colour changing sequence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks cool. Great addition to the console.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis does what it says and adds a nice effect when gaming or playing in the dark or at night.

Currently no issues with overheating and the Xbox Series X fits neatly into the design.

The only issue, as it is powered by USB from the Xbox, the lights do not turn on/off with the Xbox. You have to turn these off manually, which is a bit of a pain and annoying. Sometimes, you’ll wake up and the lights will randomly be back on and you feel like you’ve entered the matrix with a green room! (EDITED)

The lights do turn off, when in low energy mode. If you keep your Xbox on quick start up mode, the lights won’t go off, have it on low energy and it’s no problem.

Nice choice of colours and brightness.

Does what it says and it does switch off when you switch off the xbox just make sure in HDMI/AV settings you check that the xbox can turn off other devices. Lights have 3 dimmable stages too which is cool.

Is nice but keeps turning itself on all the time. Every time I turn it off it just comes on again after a while.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersDunno what everyone is on about when saying it dosen’t power off with the xbox because it does!! gotta give it a few mins and it does turn itself off (and on when the xbox is powered on) i have my xbox in energy saver mode not sure if that makes a diffrence, maybe on the instant on mode the usb ports on the xbox don’t power off, but can confirm on energy saving mode the led’s power off after about 2 mins and light up again when you turn the xbox on.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVenom Multi-Colour LED Light-up Console Stand

A good stand and while the round disc built into the console is effective its when people either walking round the console or little ones touching it i felt the stand would be a better solution in making it a little more stable and harder to tip over which so far its does so i happy with that.

The RGB lights are quite nice the light reflect around 35% of the console so its mainly at the bottom part of the console that gets lit up. The default colour is green probably to reflect the xbox colours these can be changed though on the back of the stand to pretty much any colour you like with the last effect going through all the colours in a strobe pattern.
The brightness can be either dimmed or brightered depend on your needs with a press of the button at the back of the stand along with the power button to turn off/on.

Once plugged in the stand powers up automatically and once the console powers down the stand remains lit so you do have to turn it off manually. I would point out though that the Xbox doesn’t really turn off it basically goes into hibernation per say so this is probably the reason why it stays on as there still power to the USB ports.

If your worried about the cooling aspects there are holes in the bottom of the stand it does slightly raise the console of the ground a few mm so im confident this wont have any effects on cooling nor does it cover any air intakes on the back of the console.

Overall i bought my brother one of these last year and liked the stability so this is why i bought it which it does a good job. The lights a nice and bright in low light situations i wished the light could project more upwards further up the console however, im happy with the product.

I do like this, it’s totally unnecessary of course, but the lights do look cool and set the xbox’s monolith type design off nicely. As I’ve had to put my Xbox on the floor because it gets very hot in my TV unit and won’t fit in vertically either, it keeps it from being directly on the carpet. But… as many reviews have said on here, makes no sense having the buttons on the back, or a remote control would be nice. Also it has turned itself back on a couple of times. All in all though, really like it and don’t regret buying it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNeat trick to get around the powering down issue:

I read some reviews that said you have to turn it off manually, this is true if you plug it directly into the Xbox. It’s also not ideal… However, if you plug it into another device that powers down fully when you turn it off then the lights will also power off with the device. I plugged mine into my TV using a USB extension cable and now it shuts off when I turn the TV off.

The default LED colour is green but it has full RGB.

Just remember that it will always default to green if you cut the power to it.

Personally I love it, no regrets.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRather impressed with this piece of kit, and it even colours the full room within reason but it’s definitely a piece of equipment that just accentuates how good the Series X looks, 100% happy with the purchase.

Granted there is no auto on and off feature bit I’ve never thought while using this “I wish it had auto on/off” so in my book that’s just an unnecessary feature, all in all though I’d have to say its an A+ product!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rather impressive and underrated

On the whole it’s a big thumbs up from me,the only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars is that you have to manually turn it on and off everytime. Surely that should turn on when the Xbox boots up.

This is a great light up stand. With multiple colours. I like the fact you can adjust the brightness so depending on the game its not too bright. I usually have it on the scrolling colour setting. On its brightest setting, lights up the whole room. Can be adjusted to much lower brightness. Perfect accessory for a great console.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPhotos do the work for me here. Super easy, just plugged in and put the Xbox in.
Would only let me upload 1 video, you can also change the level of brightness which is handy.
You can pick which colour you prefer or have it set up to alternate through the colours.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect to add a little light.

I had my eye on this for awhile. Before I had even got a Series X. Now I have both and they look great together. Personally, I only like the authentic Xbox green colour so I won’t be using the others. Yes, the power button is at the back but with my setup that is not a problem at all. I would not hesitate to recommend this to any Series X owner. Now I am waiting for my 20th Anniversary Xbox controller to complete my Xbox experience.

The item lights up is very bright (dont read into the fake reviews claiming it is not) but the one fault of this item is it does not shut off when you turn the system off. It stays on indefinitely. You have to press a button to turn it off. I just leave it on since my xbox is on the ground.

Set up easy enough and looks cool. I was hoping it would turn on automatically when you turn the Xbox on but you have to press the power button (when using Always On mode on Xbox)

Not sure it’s worth 25 though, I’d say it’s more 15ish but that’s probably just me.

    I’d recommend it though

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI am really impressed with the build quality of this stand – I bought it to bring a bit more light to the cupboard that my Series X sits in and it’s done exactly that, in addition to feeling really ‘solid’.

There are multiple colours to choose from, which you cycle through via buttons at the back of the stand (see my video – it’s pretty simple), and there is also the on/off switch at the back too.

It was really simple to get set-up out the box, so I can safely recommend this to anyone that is looking to bring a bit of extra light to their Series X!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI’m well aware that pre-ordering anything gaming related is frowned upon by large swathes of the community so I was a tad reluctant to do it on this item when I came across this last month BUT that said I did ‘pull the trigger’ straight away and I’m now so glad that I did.

First thing first, it’s made by Venom which is a manufacturer of items I’ve bought in the past so there was a degree of consumer confidence on my part that encouraged me to buy this. I was actually a rather excited when the Amazon driver delivered it earlier today in the afternoon.

Anyway there’s only so much you can write about a plastic base with LED lights in it that you sit a games console on so this will be short ‘n sweet.

It’s obviously made of strong enough plastic which is ample and the build quality is decent too. Okay granted it’s not dirt cheap at 25 quid but you can’t be expecting too much for that figure either.

It sits flush on whatever surface you place it on and the Series X slots in to it perfectly. The USB lead is just the right size to plug in to the back of the console and job done.

It’s got two USB ports on the back, both a 2.0 and a Type C, which is very handy for charging other accessories and devices. As well as an on/off button it’s also got a light mode control button which are all things that the cheap LED stands never have so another big positive there.

Turn it on and it really does just look outrageously cool, don’t take my word for it just watch the video of it in action I’ve uploaded with this review instead.

Bottom line is I’m more than satisfied with it so money well spent!
