Having fitted them to a washing machine it no longer moves across the (viny0) floor during spin cycles. It seems quieter too although still noticeable. I was concerned whether they would allow the machine to fit under the worktop as the thickness is advertised as 20mm. This however is the overall dimension and the inner part where the machine foot sits is only 14mm high.
Fitting involved pulling the machine forward and tilting it. The machine could then be slid back with some effort. Guess that’s why they work.
We bought these to try to prevent our washing machine on spin clattering across our tiled utility room floor. Really don’t know why we haven’t bought these before.
They are very effective. Movement has stopped and a bonus is noise has also been reduced. Recommended.
If you are reading this then you need to buy one.
Bought an expensive washer dryer who kept moving and blocking our fire exit. Before i return, i decided to try these. Excellent and the movement and vibration is gone by 95%
My old washing machine is running much quieter, like a newer machine. Now not dancing and banging around the kitchen floor.
Very pleased. Hopefully these rubber feet will also extend the running life of the machine as it’s now better balanced.
P.S.
You will probably need to place something slippery between floor & rubber feet to slide back into place (I used small carpet squares I cut from remnants – After all the rubber feet are meant to be nonslip).
Once washing machine in position I removed carpet squares.
First things first, a word of advice to all my fellow washing machine owners: REMOVE THOSE TRAVELLING BOLTS! Seriously, these sneaky bolts are like the evil villains causing all the vibrations and making your machine do the “Washing Machine Waltz” across your floor. Once you’ve vanquished those bolts, it’s time to unleash the VIBIRIT magic!
These rubbery marvels have transformed my laundry room from a scene out of “Footloose” into a serene oasis of cleanliness. My washing machine used to be a wild party animal, bouncing and grooving like it was auditioning for a spot on “So You Think You Can Dance.” I half-expected Kevin Bacon to show up and join the chaos!
But thanks to VIBIRIT, my machine is now a well-behaved washing waltzer. No more loud thumping, no more funky vibrations shaking my house, and definitely no more spin cycle shenanigans. It’s like my washing machine got a ticket to the “Silent Spa.”
These little feet pads work like magic. You just slip them under your machine, and voila! It’s like giving your washing machine a pair of ballet slippers. It tiptoes through the laundry like a graceful ballerina, leaving no marks, no noise, and no mess. I can finally do my laundry in peace without fearing that my machine might break into the “Moonwalk.”
They seem to be lessoning the vibration of my washing machine. Time will tell.
We moved our washing machine into a new room last month and after the first use it has moved completely out of its space.
The feet work perfectly. They reduce noise and the WM stays in place. Could still shimmy the WM to where I wanted it to be. But as you can see from the video, we don’t have anything blocking the sides or above.
I was thinking we would have to put an end panel up to keep the WM from moving, but these feet are amazing! Do exactly what they’re meant to do. Thanks.
I’ve not really had enough time to test properly but my first impression was they were a bit firm for my application. I’m sure they would do for a crazy vibrating lump but my purpose is for a much higher wave/frequency of vibration.
Stopped our washing machine vibrating like crazy and tracking across the tiled floor.
I’m really loving these. I haven’t had to budge my washing machine back into its space since I got the cup feet things a month or so ago. Before it was almost daily trying to destroy the leg next to it which holds the worktop up. It’s doing very quiet balanced spins now. I think my floor is too flexible because I used the Samsung balancing program to try to make the machine happy but it wasn’t any good as a small shift forward or sideways put it all out again. I recommend them. Easy to slide in place using spray cleaner or water as suggested on here. Don’t smell of anything. Excellent.
Feet for washing machine they are fantastic so easy to pull machine out and put back
Was surprised how well these plastic feet work, really do the job in cutting down the noise when machine is on spinning cycle and stop machine from moving about. Well impressed, would highly recommend.
I bought these feet to dampen the awful vibration noise coming from an external air pump, so not exactly what they are intended for but worth a try!
The moment I got the final foot under the pump the noise level dropped considerably. I would definitely recommend these feet to anyone with a similar issue.
My washing machine shook like crazy before I fitted these feet. Now it only shakes a little. I do not have a even floor so that does not help. These feet have made a different. Arrived as promised. Well made. Good price. I would buy again.
Good idea until you can’t slide the machine back into its place because the feet are anti slip and vibration.
I chucked these away
I used this for my washing machine, it look ok
I found the easiest way to push back into place was to use the side of your leg and push from half way down, not the top. This takes the pressure off the feet and they slide easier.
Only had to alter one for height very slightly whereas originally I was messing with three feet and it still wasn’t leveling. This way because the cups flex the machine finds it’s own balance while spinning and didn’t move at all.
Works really well for the price as I thought I’d try this before spending 20 on a mat.
Anyway, without saying much more, these little dancers are incredible. My machine is quiet and didn’t move at all. It is astonishing how something so small can make such a difference and such an easy solution. It is a bit of a pain getting them on the back feet, as you can imagine but worth the effort. I chose these as they looked robust. They weren’t the cheapest of those that I looked at and I chose white so’s that if it did move, it wouldn’t leave black rubber on the laminate, but suffice to say, I am delighted.
We have fitted a new plank style floor in our kitchen and needed something to shore up the washing machine as the WM likely to move in fast spin cycle. These were quite difficult to install mainly due to the weight of the WM ( a Samsung- a pretty big unit). I was surprised at how big the feet were but there was just enough room ( bearing in mind the counter top)
My WM has held pretty firm since ( moved an inch on one occasion) . The machine still rocks on its haunches a little on spin but nothing of conce
My washing machine used to take its self off for regular walks from underside the work top. I had tried adjusting the feet to ensure it was completely level and the tiled floor was spotless, but there would still be movement.
So I bought Vibirit anti vibration feet, which have now been fitted for 4 weeks and have had zero movement.
A few points you might need to know is that I needed to wind the feet of my washing machine all the way in, so with the Vibirit feet fitted, the washing machine would just about fit under my work top. The bottom of the feet are approximately 10mm thick. Also ensure your floor is spotless, because any dust or dirt in contact with the feet will reduce its ability to grip to the floor. Lastly wet the floor to help slid the washing machine back into place, and allow to dry before trying your first wash with the feet fitted.
I have to say I do think they do take the edge off the noise and vibration of my machine especially when it’s on its fastest spin. I live in a flat and like to be as respectful with noise as possible but also wanted to be able to take full advantage of my machines fastest spin without worrying about the noise so this has definitely helped with that.
My machine stayed in place as well and didn’t move around while on the spin cycle despite the fact the rubber feet still had a little of the liquid soap under them which should hopefully dry out soon. I think although they could have been a little cheaper for what they are, they are definitely worth getting if your having issues with your machine being too noisy and vibrating a lot.
I live in a converted house, I am on the upper floor. The floor where my washing machine is fitted into is slightly slanted and I’ve been having trouble leveling up the feet. I have been using an anti vibration mat, which helped to block out the noise abit. However, every so often my washing machine would move off the mat. This was highly annoying!!!
So I purchased this product and I had read the reviews on how hard it was pushing the washing machine back into place, which is absolutely true!!!
I only managed to push it easily into place by the brilliant advice someone gave on here, which was to put a LITTLE oil under the rubber feet and it will slide into place.
However I put quite alot of oil and after one wash the washing machine had moved out of place…which was to be expected as it was still slippery.
I have since done another three washes and the washing hasn’t moved one bit!
I have to say though due to the unlevelling of my machine it does still wobble quite abit…but DOESN’T move out of place …however it still makes some noise.
I may try sliding the vibration mat under one of the feet where it is unlevel…and hope for the best.
After a lengthy time of trying to slide it extremely slowly so that the feet moved perfectly with the washing machine I finally got them into place.
They may work better if they were able to stick to the feet of the washing machine so that sliding it back under the counter wasn’t such a massive issue. Or alternatively you could stick it yourself if you had the equipment.
A handy tip, if you’re struggling to get the machine back into place use a TINY bit of washing up liquid on the feet and it will slide right in!
A word of warning, if you have a plinth that’s runs along the front of the washing machine and is a tight fit these may cause issues.
