This small and easy-to-use humidifier has been a game-changer for my home. It is incredibly quiet, producing a constant mist output that is perfect for home use, a bedroom, or an office. Additionally, it comes with an essential oil VapoPad, which provides an extra layer of comfort and relaxation.
The biggest advantage of this humidifier is that it offers up to five hours of output for a 10 m2 area. This means that you don’t need to worry about refilling the humidifier as often, making it a great choice for those who don’t want to be constantly refilling their humidifiers. Additionally, the design is sleek and modern, so it looks great in any room.
However, there are a few negatives to consider. The Vicks Personal Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier is a bit expensive, so it may not be the best choice for those on a budget. Additionally, it isn’t ideal for larger areas, as it may not provide enough output for larger rooms.
Compact humidifier that Vicks have put their name to, so I had high expectations.
What I liked:
The humidifier itself is compact and has a small footprint.
Functions well as a humidifier, releasing a cool mist into the air that you can position 360.
You can optionally add Vicks vapourpads through a hatch which will be warmed and release a menthol/eucalyptus fragrance into the mist to help with breathing and stuffy noses. Other fragrances are available too.
What I didn’t like:
This only runs 5 hours on a full 700ml tank; why not the whole night through? It’s also only intended for smaller (10 square metre) bedrooms.
Filling the water tank is unnecessarily complex for a humidifier (pour it in one way, tip it upside down, where it valve releases it slowly and fills a second reservoir).
Vapour pads are fiddly to slip in and you’re not able to add your own oils to the system. Only Vicks sized pads will fit.
Like most humidifiers, you have to clean regularly to prevent mould build-up. There’s an annoying alarm that beeps to remind you to do this.
Overall it does what it says on the box and will humidify (and mix with nose-clearing vapour pads). But it is on the small side, and at time of writing 41.99 is definitely puts it on the more expensive price range.
Better than your standard humidifiers as it made the air a lot more breathable when little one was bunged up plus its easy to setup. Just follow the instructions and your easily on the go. Its not the smallest so it takes up a bit more room then some but it lasts a while longer.
Cool mist ultrasonic humidifier.
Size is rather small ,but fit for our purpose.
We needed for our bedroom as the air it tend to get very dry during night time.
We were also sick with sore throat and blocked noses.
This helped us a lot with our recovery.
Initially I thought it was damaged as the water was coming out of the container as soon as I place it back on the humidifier.
Was also scared to use it ,afraid of any electric shock :))
The institutions were poorly presented ,however with the luck of the other reviews I got to know how it works.
It is quite simple in fact. Just fill the container and close it anti clock wise as per the lid instructions.
Place it back to the humidifier and press the button On.
There is a orange flashing button/sound ,it needs to be pressed once to stop.
There is a menthol pad which can be used for some scent ,however it will need more to be purchased.
It doesn’t take essential oils so be aware of that.
Silent ,compact ,fit for the purpose!
We also had the Vicks humidifier in is previous and far larger version. This version was large, cumbersome and not really very portable.
This version of the Vicks humidifier is far better. It still packs a punch too, using the vapopad technology, ideal if you have a cold and you are struggling to sleep. We also use this for our 8 month years old who recently caught a cold and struggled sleeping but thanks to this device it has helped navigate a number of nights that were somewhat difficult with screaming baby.
This humidifier is neat and compact, and can easily fit comfortably on a my desk next to me or on the bed side table.
It has around 4 hours before requiring recharging, instructions suggest 5 hours but I think this is a bit optimistic. The device could just as easily by used in the car.
Recommended.
Good Humidifier for small rooms or for a personal space such as an office desk. I wouksnt recommend using this in a large space as the effects would be greatly reduced.
In essence, this is a pretty simple Humidifier just like any other. The thing that improves it and makes it a Vicks product is the little pads you can add to the Humidifier that make the moisture slightly minty which helps improve breathing. It is easy to use and doesn’t take up much space.

When I saw this advertised I thought it was going to be somewhat spectacular .being the named brand of VICKS..
VICKS is a well know brand.and everyone knows the name.
This Personal Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier arrives in a branded box.and well secure.apart from that this is nothing special
The water tanksits on the base.this can easily be knocked over as this is very loose.this should be locked into place.
You only receive one Vapopad which goes into the water tank.
You can buy the vapopads on Amazon around 5.69 for a pack of 7.
The whole unit is well made.will not look out of place and looks nice.
The unit has a 5 hour running timeand will automatically switch off when out of water
This is ideal if you have a cold.helps keep your nose and throat hydrated
I’m really glad I got to try out the Vicks Personal humidifier Ultrasonic CoolMist. It’s small compact and aesthetically pleasing device, which is makes it easy to move around and it fits in just about anywhere. I personally like to use it at night in my bedroom I have a dust allergy and often wake up with my nose being stuffy and irritated. I felt like I could breathe a lot clearer and there has been a lot less clearing of my nose when I wake up. Its really easy to set up which makes it very hand as I use it at night when I’m going to sleep and don’t have the energy for a complicated setup at night. I’m also looking forward to being able to use it in the summer months as it gets warmer.
I like that the device isn’t loud and considering that I mainly use it at night i it’s actually kind of relaxing.
It’s an easy to use and set up a device with straight forward instruction, it looks well designed and does what it says on the tin. You put in 700ml of water which lasts a decent amount of time and are rewarded with a very fine mist that feels like puffs of cool air just floating around you. Then when you’re done you just clean and sanitise it I especially like that it let’s you know when it needs to be cleaned and you will do it because the beeping is a bit annoying.
Overall I’m pretty pleased with this device it’s easy to use, and it would be a great recommendation useful for of people with allergies and asthma.
Like other branded humidifier, you add a few drops your choosen scent and add some water, and turn it on. Like the Timer function. I recommend it, prefect to use when you have a bit of a stuffy nose.

This is a nice and compact humidifier that is quite versatile.
The size of the humidifier means it’ll go neatly in most rooms, some humidifiers tend to be a little bulky, in my opinion this is a nice size that doesn’t take much room up.
Humidifiers are generally good through winter months but do have food use year round. They can help with breathing and just general wellbeing.
This kit comes with 1 Vicks pack of scent which is added to the humidifier and pumps into the air.
I have no issues with this humidifier, I’ve used it a few times and I found that is has helped clear my chest up through some cold days. Definitely worth a go and it’s a good price.

Using it is a breeze. Simply insert one of the VapoPads into the machine, plug it in add water to the reservoir and away you go. The VapoPads’ calming vapors, infused with essential oils, are heated to promote effortless breathing.
Great at night for keeping airways clea
We used to have a Vicks Sweet Dreams humidifier for the children, but it was just too big, this unit is much more compact and usable. Water is put into the unit by removing the top section, unscrewing the large stopper, filling with water, replacing the stopper and then putting the top back onto the unit, water then runs down into the bottom section, so you need to take care when moving the unit not to spill water from the bottom, (they do recommend that the top section, the water tank, is removed first). The unit is powered by a small mains adapter and is switched on by a touch power button. Mist appears quickly and the jet can be directed using the swivel nozzle. The unit requires cleaning every 3 days and a cleaning indicator flashes and buzzes; cleaning involves tipping out any water in the tank and rinsing the parts. They also recommend weekly scale removal and disinfecting. There is also the option to use a Vicks Vapopad to produce soothing vapours and one is supplied. The unit produces plenty of vapour, it’s well made and easy to use.
I got this before even having a cold so my experience has been only on the humidifying aspect.
I had been looking for a humidifier to counteract the drying effects of the increased use of the central heating.
I was drawn to the Vicks branding and having the Vapopad will be handy should we be unlucky and get a cold.
Emits a nice flow of steam/vapour and runs for up to 5 hours.
I dont know what type of house I live in because on the side facing the street everything is normal, but on the side to the garden, I can literally hot hot and dry without having the heating on…..strange. So for this reason a humidifier comes into place. This one in particular is a small, quiet and practical to use with the ability to transform the water into steam. What I do, I add some mint scent and this totally transforms the vibe of the room where I use it(the size of the room is 16sqm). The product works just fine, as expected. To make it work is pretty straightforward, add water, press the button and let it do the magic.
Probably every 4-5 days I clean the container to make sure everything is in order.
Overall, practical humidifier that I use daily.

This is a good humidifier from Vicks. During the winter months and sometimes during the summer months, the air in our homes gets particularly dry. With very low levels of humidity in the air, this can cause dry skin dry eyes and can irritate the lining of your nose, mouth and airways.
This humidifier has a small 700 mil tank that can be filled with just water and will run for approximately five hours after filling. The unit can also take a Vicks vapopad in the scent slot which adds vapour to the humidified air that blows out of the top. The vapour parts are available separately for purchase, and come in menthol or rosemary and lavender sents. There is one vapopad included in the box for you to try.
This humidifier produces a good stream of cool mist, which can be seen in the air. When combined with the vapour pad, the menthol vape is particularly good when you have a cough or cold because they definitely helped clear your airways.

I am a huge fan of Vicks products due to the quality and this came at the perfect time. I normally tend to get blocked noses at night which make breathing and sleeping sometimes difficult.
This little machine is very easy to use. You just open up one of the vapour pads and slot it in the machine and plug it in. The soothing VapoPads vapours with essential oils are activated by heat for an easy breathing sensation.
I found it to be very effective at night for me and helped me sleep well.

Had been thinking of getting a humidifier for quite some time as I really struggle with breathing dry air during the winter months. So was really pleased when this came up. The Vicks Personal Cool Mist Humidifier is robust. It looks very appealing too. I wasn’t really sure if 700mL capacity was enough but having used this item I can safely say that it is a good enough to keep the air humid. Breathing is now so much easier and I am able to sleep faster and better. Love the fact that it also comes with an essential oil vapo pad. This has been really very helpful when the kids suffered from cold and cough. The vapo pad made them sleep slightly better It isn’t too noisy which is a bonus. Was also pleased to know that the product is safe as in – if the water runs out the humidifier shuts off automatically. It is light weight and portable too.
Some minor issues with this product are – I did have slight difficulty opening the lid up to pour in water.. Secondly, at the given price, it would have been really good if the item came in with more than 1 vapo-pad or if the unit was able to take in essential oils.
One of the most irritating parts of having a cold or flu is struggling to breathe so the ability to use products to help with this can provide some welcome relief. I checked this one out from brand name Vicks to see how it would do.
The size of the unit is acceptable to go on a shelf and while it’s a little bulky and not the most attractive thing I’ve seen it does seem to be of decent quality. To humidify the environment you add water into the basin plus a pad which you can purchase that contains the scent. This means compared to alternatives that accept oil directly it is a slightly less convenient option. Despite this it does a good job of filling a reasonable size room with a pleasant scent.
Overall then this is a reasonable humidifier that will definitely help with breathing during a cough or cold if not the most convenient or attractive to look at.
This is quite a smart-looking humidifier. Easy to set up. Plug in the included vapopad which sits behind a flap on the side and that is pretty much all there is to it. Fill the main tank with water and away you go!
There is a good strong stream of mist from this device. And there is an adjustment via the vent at the top to direct the flow.
The VapoPad is “ok” but I didn’t really get much from it. Subtle I think is the word.
It is quiet in operation.
I do feel that is quite expensive for what it is but, the quality is there so if it lasts and doesn’t stop working like the cheaper ones I have had it will feel like better value for money.
I ordered this for the kids and for me as well.
During the day it’s great for keeping on top of colds or flu. If you work from home it’s pretty silent and unobtrusive, and will help you get through your day.
The vapours definitely help the kids breathe more easily at night.
I’ve found the scent pads do me 2 or 3 times depending on usage, and there’s 7 of them in the packs I ordered.
I got the menthol for me and the older kids and the Rosemary and lavender for my grandson which smells divine and helps him sleep.
I particularly love the nozzle which you can direct as you please, and the translucent tank which makes it simple to see the water level.
A full tank will run for about 5 hours and will auto shut off if it runs out of water.
It has a simple one button operation, and the cleaning indicator will remind you when it’s time for a quick clean to keep it hygienic.
Design wise it’s compact and can be easily moved from room to room.
I would definitely recommend it, it’s great value for money and well made.
It’s incredibly useful and effective but you do have the pads to buy which work out at around 1 each however I’ve found it to be very comforting, soothing and straightforward to use.
