This is actually a nice little tool for wax or just looking to check, for the price it feels quality, works as it should, clear image, can’t complain at all.
This camera is great, you can easily see extremely clear into your ear and the silicone tip helps you not hurt yourself whilst clearing out any wax. The app is very easy to use and set up. the camera also doubles up as a really good macro camera for anything you want, flies, spiders, etc battery lasts plenty of time and it does not take long to charge.
Peering into one’s ear has never been clearer. The quality of imagery the device offers is truly splendid, and those LED lights do make quite the difference. The ultra-thin lens is a boon — slipping comfortably into various ear types without a hint of discomfort. It’s also comforting knowing that this tool can be easily cleaned, either with a simple rinse or a swipe of alcohol. Plus, the diverse uses, from checking nostrils to scalp follicles, make it versatile beyond its primary purpose. Keeping it tidy in its cover during travels is handy.
I have no idea why but my gild, my stomach was churning! I used it on myself and sadly my ears are clean as a whistle. My 11yr old son’s ears mind you..I present evidence to support!!
Easy to use, just takes a while to work out which way to turn it when you’re watching on your phone but easy to connect to your phone
My son often complains about itchy ears, and recently, I noticed a slight decrease in his hearing. I was initially considering using cotton swabs to clean his ears, but without a proper tool, I was concerned about damaging his eardrum. I bought this tool to give it a try, and it turned out to be very easy to use. It quickly connected to the camera, providing a clear view. Now I no longer worry about harming my son’s eardrum, and I successfully cleaned his ears. Highly recommended.
It’s working very well, earlier I was using regular cotton earbuds to clean them many times, but now I started using this, It is really removing ear wax very well.
For the price, it is absolutely brilliant! I have had really bad tinitus for years . Granted it was on/off but it had got really bad lately. I decided on buying this and, lo and behold, my tinitus has gone. And it was all down to a big lump of ear wax. The camera is good quality with an easy to read instruction booklet. It also gives you a link to the app (which is free by the way.) Highly recommend this product!
This product is absolutely fantastic. First of all, I have narrow ear canals (consequence of tiny ears), and wax build up usually results in regular syringing, which is an unpleasant experience to say the least.
This little gem has become a lifesaver. Once a week I use this to safely clean my ears. My hearing has improved, my ears don’t feel full and itchy, and I don’t need to go and have three hours of vertigo following a syringing.
The product is super easy to use, the app syncs up with the device with the absolute minimum of fuss. The camera quality is great, the battery life is great. I honestly have no criticisms at all.
Fantastic product. Would highly recommend and I would honesty give more than 5 stars if I could.
The product itself works fantastically, however after only a couple of uses, one of the small rubber attachments seems to be about to go through on the end, another had a tear in with was obviously straight away on the camera. Is it possible to get just some more of the rubber attachments?
Got it connected after I turned it on, I’d of thought it would be via Bluetooth not “wifi”. Good little camera on it, I thought the scrapers would be different but there all the same. Only thing for me that would make it better is if the end bit came off so you could put the camera further in and get a better look as the hairs are in the way and it’s a bit fidly to use
It works very well. The little rubber tips are a little fragile though and do rip after a few uses. The app is easy to use and has an eardrum safety ale
Having suffered blocked ears for weeks, great for sleeping next to a snoring partner, not so great for asking your CEO several times “what did you say?” I decided, as a tight yorkshire woman, I’d rather spend 20 squid on a gadget than 120 to get my ears washed out, not by my mother who threatened me with this on daily basis as a youngester, but by a pharmacist.
From the initial viewing of the “that so gross but so satisfying” video, just like the feeling of squeezing an enormous spot, every spoonful on the camera was like the biggest nuggets of gold dug from the darkest pits. However, once in the daylight, its just a tiny blob of yellowy orange.
Saying that, after digging all the tatties from my earlugs…hallelujah, I could hear again, it’s a miracle!!
It’s taken a few days to completely clear my lugholes out as I made them sore by digging too deep but definitely worth the 20! Plus the chance of sharing the gross videos with friends….normally around tea time…priceless
My my ears have never been this clean, the camera really allows you to get every nook and cranny inside your ear and any piece of wax will get removed. It takes a while to get used to it but once you get it you can really clean your ears. Love the produc
So that you can view your waxy passages on the big screen. Also useful for intimidating wood lice under the skirting board. How have lived so long without this? Careful how you probe though. I hurt my inner bits by enthusiastic wax mining.
This really does work I had no hearing at all in 1 ear completely blocked my grand daughter got to work in 10 mins she had restored my hearing. Before using this tool I did use eared drops to soften the wax. I will have to use this again as being my ear was that badly blocked I still have some hard wax next to my eardrum and need to soften the remaining. We’ll worth the money if you only use it once no making appointments or waiting or paying extortionate prices. The camera quality is very good . Glad I gambled as was a bit sceptical. Oh it has a warning light if you too close to your eardrum.
Did I buy this because I couldn’t be bothered to dig out a micro USB cable to charge my old one? Yes. Is it worth the upgrade? Also yes. I’ve been cleaning my ears with the bebird scope for over a year and would never go back to cotton buds.
Pros
The main pro for me aside from the usb c charging is that the scoop is metal and part of the handle, with the silicone sleeve on top. The bebird model had a clip on plastic scoop on the stem which regularly cracked and became loose.
The other pro is that the head is slightly smaller and it comes with plenty of extra sleeves.
Cons
The only con I can see is that the light isn’t quite as powerful as the older model, with this I can see the ear canal fine but can’t see my ear drum – it’s a patch of black with the reflection from the light. With the older model I could see the whole drum and could make sure it was a healthy colour with no damage. The newer model’s light is more concentrated which is fine for close ups but not to get a full overview of the ear.
Overall very happy with the purchase and will continue to use once a week!
It’s a great little gadget which allows you to see inside your ear. You can see if you have wax in your ear. If you do make an appointment for a professional to remove it. Don’t be poking about with the tools provided.
This product is OK but be careful using it. I had wax deep and couldn’t hear in that ear but after using this I got my hearing back in that ear. Kind of painful and fiddly to use but it did the job I guess, I can hear agai
Set up and use of this tool is fairly easy, with good camera quality. The app it pairs with also has a lot of useful functions, such as the ability to control light levels and invert the camera display. One downside is that the tool gets a little hot as you use it which might be uncomfortable for people that are sensitive to heat, especially in the ears. Overall its a good product and I recommend it to anyone that has recurrent wax problems
Very useful camera and ‘spoon’ (with soft covers) intended to view inside ears and collect wax. Requires dexterity to manipulate in the ear. Generally, sends a very clear picture to a mobile phone, which is used as a monitor. Download of app to mobile and WiFi connection between device and mobile was straightforward. Camera has a specific focal point so parts of the ear at significantly different ranges to the focal point can be blurred.
Take still and video pictures with the app.
Inside of the ear can feel tender after use of this device.
Have owned for too short a time to report on battery life.
Recommend dropping olive oil in ear on 3 consecutive nights before, on the fourth night, collection of wax.
Remember that you shouldn’t put anything in your ear that’s smaller than your elbow!
