Great product, used in my shed to hold all my garden tools. When it comes to anything with a handle such as a spade or fork, its easier to hang them by the handle sideways and also they don’t take up as much space that way. Really pleased with the result making for a nice tidy shed.
Purchased this not expecting much as looked flimsy. How wrong was I? As you can see from photo holds many things including heavy spade and fork. She’d looks so tidy now and has freed up much needed floor space. Left one star off only because racks have 16 hanging hooks but there is space for 20 so wish had the extra fou
The Garden Tool Rack arrived packed neatly in a box.
It has arrived as a self assembly with 4 interlocking backboards, 16 hooks, 18 pegs and 20 screws.
The hooks are easy to insert and swivel freely allowing you to hang thinks on them. The friction of the tool against the rubberised hook is such that tools stay where they are.
I installed it in the shed and it was very simple to put up and perfect for handheld tools.
It was very easy to fix it to the wall.
I would recommend.
This is easy to assemble and as it’s in 4 sections I only needed 3 for my gardening tools and the other is ideal for my husband’s everyday use tools. Really neat idea and well thought out.
This is just what I needed. My shed is a mess. I have shelving and have tried to put stuff in a place but it never goes back in the same place. I have all my garden stuff, shovel, rake, etc just rammed in the corner. Now I can hang these on my new rack. Brilliant how you can dicide were to place the hooks and also what type of hook to choose from. Also comes with all the fixing to attach to a wall wether it be a shed or garage wall. This is very robust and will last for years to come.
My first impression was that it was lightweight and not suited to a shed task, I was wrong, it does feel quite flimsy at first but it’s plenty strong enough to hold garden tools, it even holds my sledgehammer.
It’s modular and can be used in different places, I use one section in the garage for brooms and pressure washer guns and the rest in the shed. The only weakness is actually the frailty of the shed and I had to put in a plank across the sheds supports to hold the weight of the tools.
A very easy way of getting stuff off the floor, the hooks hold the long handled tools in place nicely and it means you can store them at different heights when for example the mower is underneath.
I can recommend this now, it didn’t take long to impress me.
The VonHaus Garden Tool Rack is everything as described in the product description.
All the parts are well made of quality plastics or metal.
Assembly instructions accompanied by diagrams are easy to follow.
With this product, I can now store neatly and find all my garden tools easily in one place. I would recommend it to you. 5 Stars.
We always have something that can be organised. It’s so much easier to find things when they are at a dedicated space.
This VonHaus organisers are wallmounted and come with everything you need. Screws, hooks and these racks itself.
They are easy to install and make everything so much better to see at just one glance.
I love this product and I gladly recommend i
This tool rack seems really good quality.
The backplate comes in four sections and can be fitter separately or interlocked together to make one long tool rack totalling 162.5cm in length with 16 strong hooks and 20 pegs.
I installed it in the shed and it was very simple to put up and perfect for handheld tools.
This is going to great for storing items up, you receive 4 rails, hooks and pegs also all the screws and rawl plugs. The only part I would say is the rails do feel flimsy but the hooks and pegs are made sturdy I’ll be installing them soon when my garage is put up so I’ll update you with more photos, you can put up1 rail or 2 or even just join them altogether they have wee plastic cover ends for you to be able to put them up individual which is a great idea, each hook and peg hold 3kg individual you can use them for the house or garage it doesn’t matter I would recommend buying this if you want store items hanging out your way also received it very fast delivery and reasonable price
This garden tool rack set is an excellent storage solution for stray tools, cables, and all the other bits and pieces that can otherwise create an unruly pile of clutter.
Four racks are provided which either interlock or can be mounted separately. The hooks and pegs can be inserted into the rails wherever is most convenient. The set is therefore fully customisable to one’s own requirements.
All of the screws, rawl plugs, hooks and pegs are included, and the racks are extremely easy to mount, even for a DIY amateur like me.
eally like this organiser. it’s very easy to install and comes with all you need, screws and wall plugs. once holes are drilled, you screw it in. then you can inset the brooms into the holders with a firm push and they are held. you also have some small hooks should you wish to use loops provided on any brooms or mops. it helps keep things nice and organised and off the floor. the build quality is good and strong. highly recommended.
I have a number of VonHous garden products, and in my experience have found them to make good, practical, robust tools, my favourite one being an extendable mains electric hedge trimmer which has served me very well for over five years now. So, I had high expectations for this wall-mounted garden tool rack.
I was firstly impressed with how all the components were held inside a cardboard box which was only 46cm long. And really, everything you need to mount this product is there, including the screws and raw plugs. An instruction leaflet is also in the box, though it is fairly obvious where everything goes in order to fully assemble it and screw it to the wall. The rack itself comes in four separate plastic strips that simply clip onto each other, the hooks are threaded through the channels, the plastic plugs are turned and pushed into their respective holes, then you simply attach the erected rack to the wall of your choice. I do like that you have the option of using a single, double, triple, or quadruple strip arrangement, and whatever arrangement you opt for, you simply finish off the ends by using the provided blanking strips. The ‘hooks’ are a practical size and they’re coated in what feels like a textured silicon skin to help them grip the tools you place within them.
In practice, I found that this rack looks neat and tidy but, at times, I found it a bit fiddly to place gardening tools within those hooks, and just a tad awkward to remove them afterwards – so it’s not the quickest method of putting away and accessing your tools. My ‘tried and tested’ way of storing implements like spades, forks, rakes, shears etc is to simply screw a length of 3″ x 2″ wood to the wall, and knock in pairs of 4inch nails, which can be perfectly spaced to accommodate the different thicknesses and shapes of tools you want to hang between them. For tools like spanner’s, screwdrivers, pliers, chisels, brushes etc I use magnetic tool strips. However, if you just want a quick, hassle-free method of tidying up all those garden tools lying around in your shed or garage, then this rack from VonHous is a good option. It’s reasonably priced, and it should take you less than 30 minutes to unbox, assemble, attach to the wall – and use! Also, it doesn’t need painting, and with it being made of plastic will not rust or rot.
This is a cleverly designed bracket with multiple uses, in my workshop i tidied all the loose garden tools and now can find them easily it also means I don’t have to pick them up every time I manage to catch one with my foot on the way past and sent the lot flying. This is a must for every garden shed or workshop
This is a very well put together kit. Looks to be very solid.
I have used other Vonhaus products before and been very happy with them.
I haven’t had a chance to fit this yet but I’ve mocked it up and tried it against a wall and it holds tools well.
I just need to sort the shed enough to fit it now.
I’m pretty impressed with the design of this product and although I haven’t yet installed it, I thought it would be worth reviewing.
The kit comes as self assembly with 4 interlocking backboards, 16 hooks, 18 pegs and 20 screws and rawl plugs.
The design is such that you can interlock the four backboards into lengths of 2, 3 or 4 pieces. If you use them as single pieces then you use the supplied blank to cover the connecting ‘bridge’.
The hooks are easy to insert and swivel freely allowing you to hang thinks on them or, as in the product description, secure the handle of spade or fork in them. The friction of the tool against the rubberised hook is such that tools stay where they are however I would only trust this for lightweight tools.
Although I haven’t installed the brackets on the wall I did test the strength of the hooks by holding the backboard against the wall whilst testing it.
I tried a wooden broom attached half way up the handle. If you tap the broom it drops slightly as the friction changes. I then tried a heavy spade with a plastic coated steel handle this was a good grip and did not slip, however the design of the hooks is such that they can easily be removed when the unit is attached to the wall and I found that the added friction cause the hook to come partly out of its slot when I removed the spade. It would have been better if the hooks weee only insertable before it was attached to the wall
Keep in mind it the product manufacturer suggests a max weight of 30kg per hook which is the weight of 3 heavy petrol strimmers, I think the 120kg of weight on each segment would rip the thing off the wall before damaging the product itself.
Overall it is good and Saturday and very practical but o would ensure that large tools were stored with the handle touching the hook and not midway along the shaft as shown in the product pictures
