Stopped working after a few months and nothing was coming out. Threw in the bin.
However the company contacted me afterwards and gave me pa full refund. So can’t fault them at all.
Arrived promptly. However limited picture instructions and I found it extremely difficult to fill . It wasn’t until after use that I discovered a YouTube video which explained how to fill so I’m not the only one!Once filled very effective spray .
So got this for multiple reasons and it works for all of them, cleaning the car, playing with the dog, watering the plants.
It’s easy to use and very convenient!
However the latch on the hose broke after one use so once pressurised it can’t be stopped until the water is removed.
A little annoying but usually we fill it for our needs so are intending to use it until it is empty anyway.
Tried it today, must have pumped it a hundred times and the spray was pitiful. Went straight in the bin. I’ll use a watering can! However the customer service and resolution was excellent.
All seems good but I cannot use as I have no idea how to get the top off to fill it at all…I strutions would be good as some one else has poi Ted out, could you please advise
Had this delivered to me a few days ago, I found this most helpful for watering my indoor plants.
As I suffer from arithmetic with my hands, the useful spray bottle will cause me great pain due to the repeated trigger action, with this pressure sprayer I just need to pump up the pressure and pull the trigger once to water the plants.
The water capacity of 4.5 litre is ideal, not too heavy and one fill will last me many days.
I had to return it as it broke the first time I tried to use it.
No I do not recommend
**Update
Customer service reached out to me and were good so you can buy in confidence knowing if something goes wrong it will be rectified.
My old sprayer has finally given up the ghost – after many years of service! This one arrived quickly. It appears uncomplicated and sturdy. It was easy to assemble. I haven’t used it yet and would expect it to work. If not I will change my review. The company contacted me independently with their warranty which was a good sign. I have high expectations and if it gives anything like the service of the old one, I will be extremely pleased. Incidentally it came with some spare rubber washers which I’ve kept, but at this point don’t know what they are for.
I purchased this for spraying sealer on the inside of a prefab concrete building, readying it for insulation and boarding. It had no problem handling this and the wand and adjustment made it quite easy to control and not make a mess everywhere, once I got used to it. 5 litre volume also reduced the amount of refilling a lot, but given the size of the job, it did need frequent pressurisation. All in all, a good purchase even if I don’t have any future plans for it.
After reading a few reviews on this I was very sceptical on this leaking everywhere. No, seems fine, if you take the time out the box to make sure everything is put together right and done up tight, you should be fine, I had a leak from the gun, but realised that I hadn’t checked it , but as soon as it was all tightened up, it worked fine. It holds pressure well, and works well, and has so far done the job I bought it for, good holding capacity with a good sized jet , I use it for weed killer and so far it’s done the job
I saw a recipe on social media for weedkiller using salt dishwasher liquid and white vinegar and this is the perfect means of covering a large area of the patio. within 2 days the weeds were dieing back- and environmentally friendly. No more on hands and knees weeding. A well-priced well made unit.
It’s a decent piece of equipment. I bought it to use when washing my car…which it’s not quite ideal for. The pressure isn’t quite there and the amount of water that it expells isn’t that much. It is absolutely perfect for using in the garden though…which I enjoy using it for now.
The product is as required for weed killing in the garden. 25pumps to pressurise the unit and away you go. Adaptable nozzle for different spray types.
I thought a part was missing from the unit- this was the screwed compression fitting at the lance handle, so I contacted the supplier. However the part had accidentally dropped out the box. The supplier was quick and assertive to try to help me which was great. I told them I had found the part. Lesson learned: the customer is not always right.
All in all a good unit and I like the pressure relief valve which regulates the vessel as you go about your tasks. Plenty of spare O rings and seals as well for future change out.
At around 20 you’ll probably struggle to find a better manual spraying unit.
Thanks for the product guys. Now to attend to those pesky garden weeds 😀
The plastic bottle construction is sturdy and feels like it will weather well during use.
The handle, as seen in the image, is not the most comfortable, it would have been more comfortable for the palm of your hand if it was a full handle as opposed to being a cut out. The smooth rounded edges help though.
The spray nozzle adjustment is of a metal construction (possibly brass) and it functions very effectively.
My only gripe is that the thread is very short (see image) and if turned more than 360 degrees, it comes off, the first time I did this, I dropped it, luckily I was indoors.
Happy with the purchase and would recommend.
The sprayer was delivered in its original box, so there’s no extra packaging wastage.
It is very easy to assemble, just screw the lance in place and it done. There is also a complete set of replacement O rings supplied in a bag if ever needed.
The filler is like a large funnel, so when adding any liquids there is no spillage which makes filling a lot easier. After a few pumps of the handle, pressure was achieved and the spray worked flawlessly. There is plenty of adjustment on the nozzle, from a fine mist to a strong jet which reaches about 4 metres (12 foot). The spray lasted some time before needing to be repumped. I normally use a hand sprayer and this is my first pressure sprayer, I’m so pleased I bought it, it’s so much easier.
Also attached is an adjustable shoulder strap for easy transportation.
I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.
The overall item is similar to many other sprayers out there. However, it does seem more compact than some I have looked at and the one I currently have. The lance is a standard length with an adjustable nozzle to alter the spray from a jet to a fine cone (albeit a bit tight to turn). The actuating ‘switch’ is capable of being locked, useful if you were doing large areas in one go. What I do like is that the pump handle mechanism has a proper locking action in both directions which means that when you carry it around by the handle, it doesn’t inadvertently come undone and drop down. I must admit that I tend to carry it around by the handle rather than the shoulder strap.
Another bonus point is that it comes with a complete set of spare seals should things deteriorate over the years.
All in all, a very good piece of kit, above average quality for a plastic item and better than the Wilko one I already own. My only gripe would be that the flexible hose is not quite long enough for my preference, but that’s a minor gripe which I can live with.
I received the sprayer before the estimated delivery date and it arrived in simple cardboard box and minimum packaging. There were no instructions included but as everything is printed on the side of the bottle none are required.
All the information and photos of the product are as per the site and everything is self-explanatory, but I’ve attached a photo of the instructions on the side of bottle in case anyone is curious.
I found that the pressure is great and is maintained well. The spray can be adjusted between a fine spray and jet by a small twist of the nozzle.
I bought this not for my garden or plants, but to use on my car that’s been sat on my drive since I’ve been working from home during and before lockdown. I use it to quickly wash the gathering dust and bird muck off, as I’m fed up of getting the hose pipe or bucket out just to get rid of it daily.
I use it with the spray set as a jet and the pressure is good enough to remove the dried bird muck easily without needing to use a sponge or brush.
I bought two, I had a low expectation, I thought they would need frequent pumping to retain the pressure and for them to be fairly flimsy. For what I paid I would have given a 5-star for a product with my description above, and I would have been happy to buy two more when they broke.
What a surprise!! They are excellent!!
First, the spray can be altered by turning the nozzle, you can have a fine spray to a jet and anywhere in between the two. The fine spray can be set to cover a very wide area with a fine mist. The jet can easily shoot 4-5m, probably much further if it was pumped more.
When charged by pumping they last a decent amount of time, I sprayed weedkiller over a 10m2 area with one charge. It even retains pressure if they haven’t been used for weeks.
And, they are very sturdy. I expect them to last a number of years. Bad news for the seller: I won’t be buying them again for a while. Good news for buyers: you’ll get far more for your money if you buy from this seller.
Thanks to buyers leaving honest and accurate reviews I was able to select a great product from a great seller. I hope this helps other buyers to make up their mind who to buy from.
I bought the VOXON 5 Litre pressure sprayer to help speed up spraying my weeds with weed killer and it certainly did that. Before I had this I used a sprayer bottle which took ages to spray all the weeds and then moved onto using a watering can but this used up a lot more weed killer. This sprayer is quick to use and uses less weed killer than a watering can.
When I unpacked it initially I looked around for the instruction leaflet but there wasn’t one then I realised all the instructions are on the side of the sprayer which is perfect as you can’t lose it, although I guess once you’ve used it once it’s pretty straightforward and you don’t need to refer to the instructions again.
Usage is as I say straightforward connect the wand to the hose, unscrew the top, fill with water / solution (up-to the max level), screw top back on, pump handle 25 times and the squeeze the trigger to spray. Quick, easy and effective. There’s also a pressure release value to use to release the air after use (so as not to damage the sprayer I guess).
Finally there was also a pack of spare washers, which I guess will be useful as and when these are needed.
The amount of pressure this sprayer puts out is awesome, it is powerful enough to blast aphids off my plants!
I originally intended to carry on using pesticide with a sprayer, but since this blasts the aphids off I don’t need to use pesticide! So that’s saving me a few quid! The sprayer is a much a better design than my previous sprayer, this one has a pipe that goes all the way to the bottom of the container so it uses almost all of the water, my old one would leave several inches of water, so even though it held 5 litres only 4 litres could be used, so this saves me time refilling it. I have a lot of plants so this sprayer is perfect to keep them moist, so this is extra handy when we have these regular hosepipe bans! I can’t find any faults with the sprayer, it is very thick plastic, it is a quality sprayer! This is the best sprayer I’ve ever used. I’ve shown it to a few of my gardening buddies and they are also impressed with how well made it is. Overall it is an excellent quality product!
The item arrived in the manufactures box which i found a bit strange for Amazon however this did not impact the product in anyway.
The produce was purchased to replace a previous pressure washer that i also purchased through Amazon but has started leaking through hoes in the base. The quality difference between both products is amazing and i would say this is of a superior build quality to the other one i had.
The pressure washer comes with what i assume are a spare set of washers; i assume this as there are no instructions with the product so i decided to use the product without the washers and it seemed fine. There is also a strap so that you can suspend the bottle from your shoulder.
To use the pressure washer you just need to attach the pipe with the nozzle, fill the bottle with whatever you are using and then the pressure washer takes approximately 30 pumps to be at full pressure and the pressure does not leak out like some other pressure sprayers.
What i particularly like about this product is that the lid/head of the bottle is designed so that when you poor something in, it won’t spill down the side of the bottle. The spray pattern is even as well.
The sprayer is quick and easy to get going with – about 2 minutes from unboxing to first spray. Screw the wand onto the hose, fill the vessel, pump it up and you’re away. At first I was a little disconcerted – my last sprayer had some metal parts which are all plastic in this sprayer, including the nozzle and pressure bleed valve, but the connections all seem really secure, and it works just fine with no leaks, even under lots of pressure. It also clearly keeps the cost down – this is a very good price.
Filling up the sprayer is easy. Foolishly I unscrewed the pump cylinder, and tried to fill that with the spray stuff I’m using – no good! You need to screw the entire green ‘top’ off the body, which takes a fair bit of twisting, but makes it really simple to fill – the nice, wide aperture is fine whether you’re using the tap or a jug. The stated capacity of 5l seems accurate.
When you start to pump the vessel up, it feels like nothing is happening at first – but keep going for the recommended 25 strokes of the built-in pump, and slowly you feel the resistance building up. You can twist the pump handle to lock it in place when you’re done, which then makes a convenient carry handle in addition to the nylon shoulder strap. There are also little clips which securely hold the wand and hose, keeping everything tidy when you’re not actively using the sprayer.
By tightening and loosening the nozzle on the tip of the wand, you can vary the spray from a very fine mist to a surprisingly-powerful needle blast. The ‘mist’ is fairly fine, just right for watering and feeding, maybe just a little short of what would be ideal for weed spraying. Increasing the pressure a little may help. It can be quite difficult to get the nozzle setting just right – the difference in ‘tightness’ from fine mist to full needle is a bit slight. But once you’ve got it dialed in, you’re away. There is a ‘trigger’ located in the handgrip which engages the spray – this is spring-loaded to allow for short bursts, but also has a slide-to-lock feature for when you’re spraying larger areas. There is also a neat little pressure bleed valve which you can lift to release pressure (if you need to refill, or if you get finished your job and there’s still pressure inside). I imagine this probably also serves as a pressure release if you over-pump the vessel.
Although the 5 litre vessel is quite small, it’s not bad for watering and weedkilling if you’re not dealing with a large area. It also means that you’re lugging less liquid about at any time, making it a bit easier on the shoulders and back. The sprayer also came with spare o-rings and pressure seals, which is a nice touch for a budget item.
I received this sprayer free of charge in exchange for this unbiased review, and was glad of the opportunity as I need to spray a patch of weeds out at the back of the church! It’s good value for the money, and I would have been happy with the purchase if I had paid full price.
VOXON 2L Pump Action Pressure Sprayer With Pressure Release Valve, Garden Sprayer
VOXON 2L Pump Action Pressure Sprayer
I have had a few of these over the years, this is one of the better ones that I’ve owned. The body of the tank is made from a good solid semi transparent plastic with level indicators on the side. The handle of the sprayer appears to be quite sturdy. The pump on the top has a metal shaft where the action is easy and quite smooth. Just a few pumps bring the sprayer up to pressure, once the sprayer is at pressure it seems to hold it’s pressure quite well. The adjustable nozzle is brass which is nice to see as those with a plastic nozzle never seem to spray as they should.
In use I found this to be a very handy sprayer, I use it to lightly mist the flowers on my tomato plants and runner beans. You can either have it spray a jet of water or by turning the brass nozzle you can adjust it to spray a fine mist. There is a button on the trigger that allows the bottle to continue spraying without the need for you to hold the trigger down. You can easily remove the nozzle to clear any obstruction that blocks the nozzle.
This is a good solid garden sprayer which gives a very fine mist, I dropped it and it just bounced off the ground without any damage so it seems quite sturdy – recommended!
