Within a week of using this, my 8-month old had progressed from basic driving and manoeuvres to advanced rallycross and stunt work. Really nice educational extras too, so he knows the difference between each emergency service siren for giving way, and it’s taught him ‘dog’ and ‘cat’. If I could suggest two improvements, it would be suckers on the underside (which could be designed to fit into the holes which hold it in place in the box) and a sub woofer.
But this the website for Christmas as he loves playing with the car stirring wheel, it’s got plenty of buttons with lots of things to do on it. Recommend.
Buttons stuck on video as my son had yogurt on i
This is a very sturdy and robust interactive educational child’s toy. I think the age range has been bumped up by VTech to cover their backs but in my opinion is good for younger children that’s getting inquisitive.
Good value for money, sturdy and not too heavy for little ones to move about, bright, sounds good to my little boy who already plays with it with a smile. He uses all the levers and steering wheel controls with ease.
Bought for my nephew for his 1st birthday and he hasn’t stopped playing with it, so I would say very good value for money, it’s sturdy and easy for little hands.
My child got to play with an older version of this toy and a relatives and wanted to get something similar. This one isn’t just as good as the steering wheel can’t be spun round freely.
Still a great toy and brings much amusement.
My 14mth old grandson loves it. Lots of sounds and music. His favourite is the sirens. Excellent value for money and very robust as it’s been thrown off the bed and out of the cot multiple times. Highly recommend this toy
4 stars only as it doesn’t light up in front of you as one would expect. The 5 white buttons on top just bag for some backlights. It is one of our best purchases though – plenty of buttons, levers, noises and melodies.
Great product. My 9 month old daughter loves playing with steering wheels and loves this toy. It keeps her entertained for a while. The only issue is that it is very loud, even on the quieter setting and the man’s voice (which sounds like Justin Fletcher) gets annoying very fast.
I was prepared to see it will show signs of wear, surprised to find it is in a very good condition, it just a little bit dusty and it looks brand new after I give it a wiped. No fading colour, exactly same as show picture. Works very well after I put batteries in, lots of songs and speakings so my son won’t get bored on it easily, it will turn itself off when not being touch for a while to save batteries, survives from lots of patting, dropping and kicking, happy with it.
it’s difficult to judge for me how good of a toy it is, as I’m a bit too old for it 😉 But the 2-year old girl I gave it as present to (together with some other toys) was really happy about it, so I suppose it must be good 🙂
Tooooot toooot now your child can drive just like their parents. It’s small and light enough for a 15 month old to pick up and carry around wherever they want. Lots to do and press and turn. It’s toot cute!!
My 7 month old son loves this toy! It is easily accessibly for him because all of the triggers for the sounds and lights are well positioned and far enough apart that clumsy baby hands can grasp, push and pull them easily.
There are 2 different volumes, which is handy when he’s using it sitting up, vs during tummy time, because I don’t want it quite as loud when it’s close to his ears. In addition to the volumes, there are 3 different settings for the sound effects; music, driving and animals. My only criticism of the animals is that the frog is referred to as ‘froggy’ and the bird, ‘birdie’ – I’d much prefer the correct names when referencing animals. I really like the introduction to the emergency services, with the sounds and an explanation that they’re on their way to help.
The images and colours are all bright and interesting enough to keep my son focussed on the toy, but the mirror would benefit from being able to tilt so that he can actually see himself in it, and I’d like it if the indicator or steering wheel triggered left and right statements, because aside from arrows on the steering wheel there is no mention of directions.
This is definitely a robust toy, which I can see my son enjoying for quite some time because I can vary the settings to keep him interested, and due to the buttons at the top being inaccessible for him at the moment, and therefore something that he’ll grow into.
