My three-year-old is absolutely enchanted by Waffle the Wonder Dog, and her adoration for this toy knows no bounds. The delightful sounds it emits bring her immense joy, and she treasures it so much that she lovingly brings it to bed every night, treating it as if it were a cherished canine companion.
This is a great soft toy especially if your child loves the TV programme. He says a few phrases and then sings the tune. You find yourself singing and dancing along!!!
Just a little smaller than i expected but loving the softness.making it “talk” may be a bit more difficult for the younger toddlers than the one just starting school!
It’s a pity the toy paw is a bit fiddly to press to play the song. It would have been better if you could press the tummy of the dog. Despite this it is a lovely toy.

Liked this very much as I know my 2-year old granddaughter watches Waffle the Wonder Dog on TV.

I bought Waffle for my niece, and she loved it! I can’t comment on exactly why she loved it so much, all I can say is that it’s a cuddly soft toy, well-made, and decent value for money. What’s not to love?! 🙂
Popped up when we were Googling what breed Waffle was, and my little boy (4) was so excited for this to arrive, and he’s not let it go since. It comes everywhere with us! Yes, the song is stuck in all of our heads ALL DAY but he smiles every time it plays so literally cannot complain. Great gift and sooo super soft – the sound button isn’t too sensitive that it goes off all night either.
We bought this for our daughter for Christmas and she loved it. Until 6 weeks later the battery died and it won’t sing anymore. It wasn’t excessively played with and now isn’t played with at all as she is only 11 months and liked the sound. It is impossible to change the battery as you can’t get into the toy. If I could change the battery this would have been a 5 star review.
My Daughter loves this toy, always makes her happy when she plays with it!
I would recommend this toy because it has the waffle doggie theme tune song like the one on CBeebies TV which she can relate to.
Bought 2 for my grandsons aged 18 months and 4 years. Both loved them. However one of the dogs front paws were very wide and won’t sit up which caused a bit of an argument between brothers! The small button in the paw is easy to work and 18 month old had no problem locating . You can easily feel the voice control box in the chest and a little more padding would have been good. But have to say worth the money to see their reaction when given to them
my little girl loves this although the battery run out very quick and no way of replacing it without unstitching it all which was a shame because she loved that it talked
Bought Waffle for my Grandson Pleased with the purchase & he loves him!! Good buy but a bit on the expensive side & the downside is that once the batteries have run out they cannot be replaced
My waffle mad lill one absolutely loves his waffle. Its so soft and well made too. The only thing is, I wish you could replace the batteries as unfortunately you can’t. So once they run out that it. It is on the small side BUT makes it perfect for my lill boy as just right for his hands. The Button can b temperamental but is still working for us a few mths in. So yes there a couple of things but The main thing is my lill one loves it and that is all that matters
It’s a lovely toy but the sound function doesn’t work. This one was bought to replace an identical one that my 3 year old lost, so I had taken it out the packaging so it was ‘the same’ before realising it doesn’t work. I can’t take it off her to return it as she thinks it’s her old one so now we’re stuck with this one that doesn’t have working sound. Other than that it’s lovely and soft.
Another gift for my 14mth old granddaughter, she loves Waffle, the item is so soft and cuddly but my only gripe about this toy is the battery situation, like so many interactive soft toys now, the battery compartment is stitched into the toy, so when Waffle no longer reacts to his paw being pressed there will be huge disappointment for any child, if someone is handy with a needle and cotton then the seam could be undone and Velcro put in place(we’ve done this with a Xmas decoration in the past) I’m all for safety when it comes to children’s toys but this practice of sealing up the mechanism so that the battery cannot be changed will only make a toy lose some of its appeal from a child’s perspective as well as an adults. For this reason I only gave 4 stars when it came to value for money.
Ours is also temperamental as to whether it will react to the paw being pressed, i was going to return it for this reason but couldn’t bring myself to take it away from my granddaughter as she was flying back home and had a firm grip of it.
The song is just as you hear it on the tv, very catchy and Waffle also woofs plus a couple of other sounds. There is no volume control but it didn’t seem that loud to us.
Bought for my 5 year old Granddaughter, within three presses the sound was lost. Have ordered another one which has arrived and is better. No control over the volume but is not so loud you want to smash it with a hammer. Little one is delighted. A nice sized toy for little hands.
