Had to buy a new steamer as my last one broke. So glad I got this one, it is so much better than the previous steamer. The wallpaper just peeled off I did Google an instruction video, which was easy. It heats up quite quickly and I didn’t need to refill it often so I got through the job in hand quite quickly. Would recommend this wallpaper steamer.

This replaced an old wallpaper steamer stripper I had when I needed to decorate my through lounge. This model is excellent making the job of removing wallpaper so much easier. I could see some design improvements over my old model that really made it much better and also some safety improvements. I have no issue with recommending this product.

When used correctly this wallpaper steamer is ideal for its intended purpose. Zero complaints. I read some of the negative reviews but can’t agree with any of them. This steamer is lightweight, low tech, easy to fill, doesn’t leak unless you over fill it, the container holds 4 litres which is ample. I filled it with hot water to speed up heating time (it’s basically like a kettle) and I got the job done efficiently with just a metal scraper. No need to spend any more money on a more expensive machine. The pipe between steamer and head is a good length. The cable is an ok length, I used it with an extension cable since I wanted to switch the power off in the room I was stripping, for safety. I suppose the only handy addition could be an on off switch at the top of the water tank as I found the steamer was so efficient I needed to switch it off from time to time while I caught up with scraping paper and glue off the wall. But a switch would add to the price, you get what you pay for and I didn’t mind unplugging at the extension cable. If you were a pro decorator you might want a more robust steamer for regular use as the plastic pipe connector threads need to be treated with a little respect to avoid damage. However this product is ideal for the home user. Big thumbs up from me.
