These solar lights are brilliant. Have installed some in my back garden and a couple in front. They work just fine and are quite bright. One for them does flicker a bit but I suspect that’s more to do with not getting enough sunlight.

One thing to mention they do need two screws but they come with a spacer tool. It is really important that used when installing them.

Overall I am very happy with the product and recommend it.

Good quality lights that are easy to fit and use. We’ve installed these around our shed for extra light and security and they look great! No wiring required at all as the lights are completely solar powered. Good value for money!

At the time of requesting this for review back in November 2022 this was priced at 12.99 which for one light is a bot expensive but it does make a nice front door light providing the solar panel is not blocked from sunlight. However during the winter months it doesn’t shine as brightly. I had positioned this above the door leading to my shed where it gets access to natural even through the winter. So it wasn’t as bright as say compared to now but it was enough light to be able to see for the few hours as rush was falling if I needed to access the shed or to walk past it to get to our bins. Obviously now with the good weather we have been having this light stays bright all night and lights up the bin and infront of the shed area really clearly. Easy to hang too, you remove the light from the frame and I find dabbing a bit of tippex through the holes helps you find where you need to position the screws. Just don’t screw them all the way in as you need to hook the frame over them. Then press the button on the back to the light before popping into the frame and onto the screws. Let it charge for a good 24 hrs before you can reap the light but remember in winter it will not be as bright for as long. Mine has successfully stayed outside for 6 months without issues or damage especially after all the frost we have had.

I love the design of this light it’s quite unusual to the other options out there.

Gives off a nice warm light nothing spectacular but enough to light the immediate area it’s in.

Looks really nice in place but could benefit from motion detection to save its charge.

Not the best but not the worst by a long shot.

I initially was hesitant about trying this as I am not keen on warm white lights and also the pattern emitted but decided to try it nonetheless.

I am glad I did as it is actually very nice, bright and lovely in the pitch darkness.

It is easy enough to install. I use very strong double sided tape as I am not good at drilling into concrete.

The lights are on all the time and give a nice warm glow to the front garden and is a good security feature rather than being pitch dark as it is the countryside.

This fence light is durable and easy to install. It is bright when switched on, with another setting for it to flicker. The light doesn’t need batteries and is sustainable by harnessing power from solar. The light comes fully equipped with the necessary screws for installation so nothing additional is required! Overall, it is a good addition to the garden for the dark.

    As described and as advertised.

Basic adequate packaging in a plain brown cardboard box.

Good instructions in terms of operation as well as installation.

Easy to fit and easy to use. Repeatedly like the template that you can use to mark where to drill to ensure you get it right first time.

Good lighting effect especially given its Winter. We expect slight improvement in the summer where there will be more sun.

This provides nice ambient/atmospheric light for decoration/effect rather than functional light needed to help with safe navigation around the garden by brightly lighting up steps or potential trip hazards.

It is IP65 which means it’s splash-proof but can’t be submerged in water so this should be fine out in the rain.

We can’t comment yet on longevity but this does appear well-made and we think it will last a good few years in the garden providing nice decorative lighting effect.

I am extremely happy with this six pack of solar fence lights. The write up says they are grey but they look black to me , they go with my garden decor all the same.
Inside the box are the instructions and fittings , also included is a little installation gauge which is not only very thoughtful but very helpful for putting them up.
I have a large stone wall at the back of my garden that gets a lot of sun so will be fixing a wooden baton the entire length of the wall next spring and these lights will be fitted to the baton along with a few other bits of decor. The fact that its a six pack means I will have enough for the whole of the back wall to be illuminated. I would love to do it now but past experience has taught me the best time to put new solar lights up is when your sure its going to be a full on sunny day and our weather is nothing but dull old winter at the moment , that way the batteries hold a better charge and last a lot longer.
They have two modes and are really bright , I took the photos and video in full daylight in the middle of the afternoon ! The first mode is steady on and the second mode is a slow pulse , whichever mode you choose the clear window creates a nice pattern with the light.
You turn them on and off with a single switch at the back , this also changes the mode. With a large solar panel on top thats waterproof and frost resistant they should last a long time

I have reviewed a solar sensor light by WHousewe in the past, and I actually rated it quite highly and in particular I liked that the whole thing was a sealed unit which meant there was less opportunity for dampness and moisture to get into the electrical circuits.
In this set of lights, however, as you can see from the video the back actually comes off and is only held on by two small screws and three plastic clips. This is a little disappointing.
This set of six lights has a nice build quality and generates two different lights, one constant white light, and one breathing white light. You can select which ever light from the button on the rear of the unit.
As well as the fixing screws and raw plugs, there is a tiny cardboard template to allow you to mark up your installation position. It is a little tricky with these lights that they slot on to the screws from behind the unit, but it does create a neater finish.
Batteries in these units are rechargeable AAs, they must be of reasonable quality as they arrived with charge in them
At this stage four stars will see how they cope with the British weathe

This is a nice little solar light that gives off a good ambient vibe, although it isn’t too bright. The bars across the shell make a nice little pattern but for it’s full effect it does need to be attached to a fence or wall otherwise it’s pretty pointless. It looks nice and I think if you had multiple it would actually look really fantastic although at 12.99 each I think it is rather on the expensive side. It was easy enough to set up although it does require a little bit of drilling and I’m quite happy with it. It’s not the best I’ve seen nor is it the worst, I would like to see a bulk buy at a cheaper price though.

Brilliant outdoor solar light for fence posts. If subtle is what you are looking for them these would be ideal. They give off a pleasant subtle warm light. In my opinion a modern design to suit all homes, business and even allotments and walk ways. Mine has been up for around a week and it is working just fine.
I love the cardboard screw template that it comes with – no more guess work and no having to replace and reposition because it is wonky! The guesswork is done for you.
Easy it install, easy to follow instructions and over all easy to use. Happy to recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars It a subtle glow is what you are after then these are for you.

Really happy with the light and was easy to set up. Solar powered which is great if there’s sun about! It’s not an automatic light thats motion sensor so bare that in mind

Wish there was more in a pack though!

    Very pleased

I do like this light, and i have placed it in a very dark path that runs along the outside of my garden, so i know if there is anybody cutting through.
It does work well but one more would have been nice. This is an expensive choice, if i had the budget i would definitely recommend, but in my own case i would not order again due to having to look for more (in quantity) for my budget.
Very nice light though and easy to install.

A slightly expensive choice considering you might be buying more than one of these. At 20% off (10.39) it is not as bad. Very bright lights and easy to install. I like that it came with a guide on the exact points on where to drill the screws to attach the light.

This solar fence light, can be attached to a fence post or wall relatively easily using the supplied screws (and wall plug if into wall).
The light is good enough to guide you and provide some illumination of path, but don’t expect to sit under it reading at night.
Nights are long now, and this lasted from about 5pm until around 10pm, so not too bad going.
At 13 with 25% off, it works out at around 10, makes it reasonably priced.

This is a nice light that can be easily fixed to the fence with 2 screws.
Gives off a nice light but at 12.99 at time of review I do feel it’s expensive compared to other solar lights that are available.

This light is smaller than expected. The “bulkhead” design led me to expect a larger light but that’s my fault for failing to read the measurements.
Not a particularly bright lamp but, since the light produced is via solar cell and free, it’s still a useful addition to your garden.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite dim light and smaller than expected but easy to set up

It is light and made of plastic. It looks good. It is easy to install. No wiring. Simply put on the fence or wall in a place which will capture the sunlight to keep it charge. It is different to other such lights I have, and it does produce a nice decorative light. Not cheap but a nice light. Like it.

Delivered in a plain cardboard box

Inside wrapped in bubble wrap sits this plastic faceted solar fence light . It comes with its own packet if fixing screws .

This is easy to assemble and install the light from it is a warm white glow with shadows from the facets .

I do feel it’s over priced considering its size and the fact it’s a singular unit . However it does what it says .

Works a treat even after overcast, cloudy days. Dead simple to attach to a fence post and has survived both frost and several days of heavy rain with no loss of performance. It has two modes that you can set via the switch at the rear: Constantly on….. whereby it automatically switches itself on at dusk and off again at dawn. Or whats called breathing light… whereby the light intensity goes up and down in a kind of… well breathing mode.

This light had some charge straight out of the box.
The options are on / wave / off and runs on solar powered batteries, so can be installed anywhere.
It comes on automatically at dusk and goes off at dawn or when the battery runs out whichever comes first.
When lit the light is not the brightest, just a warm dappled effect glow, enough to brighten a dark corner or add some decorative lighting to your garden.
I personally didn’t like the wave option.
In the box you get all the fixing screws even a template to mark where to drill, which was a nice touch.
They’d look nice along a fence, but obviously you’d need more than one and this is a 1 item pack.

Not a bad looking solar light, made of lightweight plastic. There is a set of screws and a template for you to use to make the screw holes to hang it up – handy inclusion.

The options are on or pulsing, would have been better to have brightness levels as the options, pulsing isn’t for me.

This IP65 rated waterproof LED solar charged garden light is ideal for mounting on fencing posts, panels or to an outside wall.

The light measures 4.3×3.9″ and has two lighting modes – constant or a gentle pulsing/breathing mode that reminds me of the Tardis!

5-6 hours of full sun charging should give you 12 hours of nighttime illumination.

The light is super easy to fit – you’re provided with screws and rawlplugs, along with a measuring template.

I’ve got mine fitted by the garden gate and it gives off a nice warm light and a much needed bit of illumination.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and effective solar charged garden light :)

I got this solar-powered light for a small balcony area where there is no outside light.

Build quality is ok. It is all plastic but as it is fixed in one place, I don’t see that being an issue. The solar panel on the top of the light is quite large but almost flush with the light. And it certainly seems to generate enough power. The light itself is not overly bright but of course, that is what you want. Just enough light at night to see but not something blinding like a security light.

Although we only have one unit, I can see that if you had a row of them they would be very effective at lighting a path or seating area. The light is subtle and diffused by the lens which gives a sort of dappled effect.

There is an on/off button on the back of the light although I doubt you would ever need it.

I would definitely get more of these to light other areas around the house.

You receive a single LED outdoor light, very easy to fit, screws are Supplied

The quality seems very good, a Plastic body seem hard wearing, a feel of quality

Easy to install, no cables required, completely solar powered, and charged up perfectly.

These come on at dusk until the battery has expired.

They are not bright, a little dim but do give a good effect.

Well made, easy to install, comes with the template for the screws on the back which is really useful, nice quality.
